Great place for Chinese food to go. They have large portions which can easily make 2 servings. My favorite is shrimp & lobster sauce while my wife goes for the broccoli beef. We always order to go. Expect to spend $25-30 for 2 dinners and appetizers.

Client wanted hot food quickly and suggested China Cafe. Seated quickly, delivered drinks very promptly and made recommendations for lower cost items that gave us more food.
Great experience and will be going more often.

At Yen China our order is always correct, delicious and on time. We've tried other place just for a change of pace, but we always come running back to Yen!

Vegetables were very chewy instead if crunchy. Tastes like they were reused. Rice was in big clumps that were hard. This will be the last time we eat there. Only good thing was the fortune cookie.

Such a great little place. Food is great...service is quick..and they treat you like family! If you go very often .they know what you like! Love it!

Great small family owned cafe. All dishes served fresh and hot. Dine in. Limited seating. Has a great take out and delivery service. Friendly, courteous family. Food has always been great. Large portions. Ask for the lunch size or share your dinner with others.

We come here often and it is always phenomenal. Delicious hot food with a friendly family atmosphere. The food is always delicious and their signature pineapple chicken is to die for. Dumplings, fried rice, chicken broccoli, lo mein, egg drop soup-all delicious

We eat here quite often and have never been disappointed. Mostly we get it to go. The dinner portion is huge and definitely can be 2 meals. I love the orange chicken and my hubby loves the sweet and sour pork. Their pepper steak and generals chicken is good too. Friendly service. Great value.

This restaurant is small but really really delicious and reasonably priced. Mostly locals come here. Make sure to try the orange chicken.

I have been coming to Yen for years! They have really do have the best Chinese food in town. The egg drop soup is delicious! I also love the wontons!

I'm not sure which one I enjoy more the great food or the people who operate the place cause both are fantastic. On only my second trip as I walked in I was greeted by name not only did they remember who I was but also remembered I drank un-sweet with lemon. They make each entree fresh and to order (custom level of spicy) added ingredients.

Yen China Cafe is a Friday night treat. Every Friday on the way home from work, I stop by to pick up a take out order of a combination of different dishes. We love it. You can eat in, take out of have it delivered. Great!

It is located in a strip mall on Beltline and Brand. The place is pretty small but they have excellent Chinese offerings. Food is made to order so it is guaranteed fresh and delicious.

Yen China Cafe is Garland's biggest secret. The husband and wife owner/operators are always VERY kind and service is far above average when you dine in. Its always a very enjoyable experience, often times the Chef cooks up things just for diners to enjoy and try. Very friendly and warm place. No buffet here, all food made to order. (which is great if you're looking for better quality food that doesn't sit under a heat lamp all day) Give Yen China Cafe a try ASAP, if you like Chinese food I can promise you that you'll be back for a return visit. Egg drop soup (along with everything else) is amazing!

Small owner-run cafe with the usual offerings but well-cooked and in large portions. The owners are friendly and remember your name and are happy to accommodate your preferences. Great place to eat!
