Quiet and Intimate

I frequent Olive Garden, when I was a quiet spot to talk where you don't have to talk over music and long waits like Mesquite and Dallas 635 Olive Garden, this is the spot. The servers are even more attentive.

Good meal, Good drinks

Stopped by the Olive Garden just off the George Bush Turnpike in Garland Tx. I had the Shrimp Scampi on angle hair pasta and the Chicken Gnocchi soup and I was so happy. It didn't hurt that it had a great tasting Margarita along side of both dishes. My wife had the Chicken and Shrimp Carbonara along with the same soup and Margarita. We left with leftovers for later and just short of being over stuffed. Our server, MIchael C. was great, we sat ourselves in the bar area and not the dining room. Michael made sure that we were well taken care of and was fun to just be around.

Fantastic salmon

I hadn’t been to Olive Garden in probably 10 years. I ordered the salmon piccata, best salmon I’ve ever had. I was pleasantly surprised.

BAD, BAD, BAD

Server asked us to order food immediately when seated. No drink order, no looking at the menu, order right now. Server dropped a plate of lasagne close to our table. She picked up a piece of the broken plate and began SCRAPING THE LASAGNE OFF THE FLOOR with it. I took a photo of our “salad.” How much dressing should come on a salad? The server argued with me that the salad had too much dressing. You be the judge.

Waitress brought wrong order, long wait for check and the restaurant stinks upon entering. Not the first bad experience here....

Very good service - very considerate server

Despite being a very busy location on a Saturday night, the counter folks did their best job to get everybody seated. Our wait was less than they quoted us. The food was standard for Olive Garden, but the service was really good. I wish I remembered our servers name. She was very considerate, brought refills, came to check on us while we waited for the food, and came back after the food to ask about our meals. The 5 stars was entirely on the professionalism of the staff at this restaurant. Thank you for a very good evening.

Love the italian margaritas and their salad

Their salad is simply but the dressing tastes good. We also had the sampler and it had a lot of good appetixzers on it. One had chicken/shrimp carbonara - she said it was mediocre. I had the spaghetti and meat sauce. It was excellent.

Poor Service

Really like Olive Garden but Sunday’s visit was disappointing! Sam the server announced he was the best server in the store...then he proceeds to disprove the claim! Sam brought one bowl of salad for 7 people then disappeared! 3 of our party were left with no salad. Finally had to ask another server for salad. Sam only appeared periodically and we had to ask for everything! Sam made the dinner very disappointing!

The Best Olive Garden!

This is by far the best Olive Garden my husband and I have been too. The service is fast and the food always tastes great. We always have a wonderful experience whenever we go there. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The service was very swift the staff went out of the way to make us feel comfortable and the food wash really good freshly prepared what you just went through have excellent lunch menu at very affordable prices I will definitely recommend this place when you were in this area there's not really that many choices you can eat around here but we can always count at the Olive Garden to be a clean and tasty place to eat this one did not disappoint us at all we will definitely recommend it if you are in the Busch Garden area.

Have eaten here since it was new and it seems to be getting worse every year. Have given it 3 different tries this summer. The last experience was a new low. The salad is usually wilted and has brown spots on the lettuce, this time there were also brown slimy pieces. Then to top it off the server shredded the Parmesan cheese all down my shirt and in my lap and said oh that happens all the time, No I'm Sorry! I have NEVER had that happen in the 30 Years we have been going to Olive Garden!! The spinach artichoke dip appetizer is absolutely awful and the "crostini" isn't toasted, it a slice of bread that was warmed and then is cold when they bring it out. They also never bring it out on time, before your salad and or meal. This time it was after the salad, the previous time it was after our entree had been brought to the table. The "grilled" zucchini is also barely cooked with some breadcrumbs on top. The broccoli isn't steamed, it's blanched, so it is also cold when it arrives at your table and there was so much of it on the plate you couldn't even see the tiny portion of meat or pasta. My salmon was also awful. The water taste like it is out of a garden hose and they are required to have a sufficiently working filter. Now let me talk about the servers, they seem to disappear and you are always always out of water and or tea, one of my pet peeves. The last one was a wine pusher, more than usual, he did not want to take NO for an answer even after I said we don't drink. They also don't seem to pay attention to your request, like no onions on the salad. Then he insisted we use that STUPID LITTLE computer thing on the table after we told him we wouldn't be using a card. I hate that thing and it is also in the way on your table and I want you to pay attention to me, that is why I am going out to eat and tipping you. Servers are supposed to be observant and when they see uneaten portions, should ask if something is wrong, especially if you point out slimy lettuce. My ultimate pet peeve is when they ask DO YOU WANT CHANGE? This happens every time we go here. TRAIN YOUR PEOPLE RIGHT, Say "I'll BE RIGHT BACK WITH YOUR CHANGE!!! I will not be back and neither will my daughter and family.

I received a gift card to Olive Garden for my birthday and I decided to have dinner there Saturday night with a friend.

It was Saturday evening and as you would expect the place was very busy. We were seated after a 5 minute wait. Our server was very polite and professional. Our drink order was delivered quickly. I ordered an Italian margarita and it was excellent, lots of salt on the glass rim. Our meal was delivered very hot and it was plated in a very professional manner, it looked very appetizing. As expected the food was excellent, the service was exceptional. All in all a very good night.

Went there because wife was craving spaghetti. She had the Spaghetti with Meatballs. Meatballs bland, but she said sauce was flavorful. I had the blandest shrimp scampi I have ever had. No Garlic, the shrimp were not sauteed in the sauces, the were boiled separately then added. The chicken gnocchi soup had very little gnocchi, there were 3 of us and we each only got on gnocchi each. My son's Lasagna was average. Not worth what they charge.
