Main Street Deli is one of the best restaurants of its type I have ever eaten in. The food is excellent, menu varied, and service wonderful. I heartily recommend it for anyone who wants to go to a great deli.

Larry and Suzi continue to impress with deliciously consistent food. Every meal we have had at Main Street Deli be it take out or sit down has been excellent. The gyros, salads, sandwiches, subs, entrees, specials, and appetizers are always plentiful with high quality ingredients and prepared to perfection. I have yet to be disappointed in anything I have eaten. If you have special dietary needs, just tell them. Larry will take care of you! Can't eat in... walk across the street. There are plenty of outdoor choices on the square. Dine in is always charming. You won't leave hungry!!

I live quite near this restaurant and over the years I have eaten there many, many times! I have never been disappointed! Their sandwiches (Gyros, Reubens, Polly Cheese Steak and many others) are as good as any I have eaten anywhere! Great Salads, Creative Menu, Great, Friendly Service, the DELI is an ICON in the DOWNTOWN GARLAND AREA! They like many other restaurants in the nation are continuing to offer Curbside Delivery or Take Out Only in these troubling times, but are WELL WORTH a CALL or VISIT to sample their DELICIOUS, MEMORABLE FOOD!

Food here is good. Owners are very friendly and try to please. Prices are on the high side. They have all kinds of sandwiches.The restaurant is clean and gets good health scores from the city. If you’re looking for a sandwich and don’t mind it being a little pricey this is a good place.

As the waitress put the cloth napkin in my lap, I knew I was gonna be treated well. They treated my little wonderfully and the food was good for a decent price. We will be back

I am new to the Garland area and wanted to find a good place to grab lunch or breakfast that wasn’t a chain. I found so much more at Main Street Deli. They have extremely friendly staff that treat their customers like family. I worked down the street and get lunch there at least twice a week. They have a good sized selection for a variety of tastes with perfect portion sizes! I highly recommend the Primanti, Italian Sub, or anything on the breakfast menu!

We were doing some business in Garland and decided to check this cafe to make sure the ratings were accurate. I had the gyro pita and husband had the philly cheese steak with sweet potatoes fries. Everything came fresh and well done. Delicious. The owners were very hands on and attentive. We loved it.

We have had brunch and lunch here. Pastry stops MANY times. The food is good, not great. With that said I admittedly am pretty picky in that we prefer to do less restaurants that excell in all areas rather than more that are “just” good.

Read the reviews, live in Garland so thought I would give it a try. First I had to wait five minutes for someone to come to register to take my order. This is a small place, narrow with tables along each side of walls. Apparently, they only have one waitress for all the tables who also handles payment and to go orders. She was quite busy. Ordered at 12;40 then waited for 35 more minutes before order came out. I would guess besides only one person to handle 12 tables, to go and payment, they only have one cook. The waitress was nice and handled the pressure well but I still waited 30 plus minutes for my order. While the food was good and hot I have had better. My onion rings were good but they melted the Styrofoam container to the point it had holes in it. Not very appetizing because you find yourself wondering did I just consume plastic? Paper underneath would go a long way. My son and friends said their sandwiches were o:k as was my patty melt. I don't know if we would eat here again. I know I would call my order in next time to cut down on wait time.

I had my first Reuben at Main Street Deli, and it was so good I don't know if I should even try to order one elsewhere. It set the bar too high! It's amazing how great their whole menu is too, for anything you want. Their gyro is the best I've had. The onion rings and fried mushrooms are fried heaven. The atmosphere is fantastic: the Old-Hollywood pictures everywhere and the people who are all so friendly. Go now! You'll want to stay a while.

Great sandwich shop that was worth the drive. We were staying in Plano and drove over to Garland to check out this restaurant since it had good reviews. The reviews don't lie. Good food at a great price. Everything we ordered was real good.

Came here with a group of good friends who I hadn’t seen in a long time. Needless to say, I was excited to catch up with them. Unfortunately, however, the food was so good that I was completely lost in the flavors. I had the chicken gyro, which had a perfect balance of contents with an amazing tangy-flavored sauce as the wonderfully delicious icing on the cake (or I should say icing on the gyro). I would recommend this Deli to anyone who enjoys amazing food and wonderful service.
Also, a special thank you to the owners who came out periodically came out to check on us and seemed to know the regular customers’ names by first name!
