Good Mexican Food At A Good Price

This neighborhood restaurant has all of the Tex-Mex standards. The chips are fresh and the salsa is good. There is a lot of food for very reasonable prices. We visited at lunch and there was a good crowd. Service is very good. there are many selections on the menu and several meals for the kids. I had one of their "sampler" platters that seemed to have a little bit of almost everything.Everything was very good and we will defiantly go back again.

For many years my family has enjoyed Norma's Mexican Restaurant. Whether it is good to pick up as an order or eating in the restaurant, the food is always good! Yum!

Great local Tex-Mex

Food is always fresh and very good.Excellent corn and flour tortillas.Chips are fresh every time as well.The queso is homemade and delicious.The entire staff is friendly and welcoming.A great, casual and inexpensive Tex-Mex place.

Watch Your Bill!

Nothing was broken down on bill, there were some scribbles and a total. I knew we were overcharged and asked for a breakdown. Sure enough our bill was off by about $6. The food was good to a point. Tortilla soup was splended, but fajitas were overcooked. I happily recommend, but double check your bill.

Great service, home style atmosphere, neighborhood relations and delicious food. If you ate in the mood to just sit back in a friendly neighborly environment and eat some authentic Mexican and Tex-Mex cuisines ... Norma's is the place. I enjoy supporting out South Garland businesses.

Best food ever

Almost every Friday night we eat here. The food never varies it is always good. I would totally recommend this place to anyone.

Real cheese, home made tortillas, great salsa, great chips, great refried beans and rice. Those are the foundation I look for at any good Tex Mex restaurant. This place has it all. We had excellent chicken enchiladas with Verde sauce, and they were excellent. Others at the table had shrimp and chicken fajita quesadillas, all were very good, bordering on excellent. The service was good and we will definitely be back.

Good service/Good food

This is a family owned restaurant and they make the customer feel like family. The food is authentic Mexican food in my opinion, I've eaten there for years and anything I've had has always been consistently very good. By far, my favorite Mexican food restaurant above any others. Again, my personal opinion. Its definitely worth giving Normas a try.

Fajitas anyone?

I live close to Norma's so I go there a lot. There must be a reason why I go there a lot! We always get the fajitas and they come out tender and sizzling! Delicious! We also get the tacos, fajita nachos, and enchiladas. So good! They also make the best salsa and the chips come out nice and warm. It may look like a hole in the wall but it has excellent fajitas for $15. At chilis, they aren't as good and they're $20. Not picking a side just recommending. Hope you have an excellent dinner.

We have only eaten here once. We heard raving reviews, but I think they had never had good Mexican food before. The portions were not very large and there was nothing to recommend us to go back. Adios Norma.

Excellent Food & Service!

Ate here for the first time, dinner last nite. Spanish Enchiladas, Fantastic! Wait staff is friendly and attentive. The place is very clean! Will definitely be going back for more.
