The restaurant itself was beautiful. Our waitress was named cat and she did and expected fantastic job. I wish I could have people like her at all the restaurants I go to. My steak was better than Ruth Chris and just a little below Hyde...Park. I had the Aged ribeye steak. I had the potato with truffle topping and it was the best potato I've ever had. We had the gorgonzola dipping sauce and just personal preference we didn't care for it. We had the dipping sauces and I didn't care for much of them at least for not the price. I did not care for the chocolate cake. But an above all overwhelming great experience just due to service and great steakMore

We visited this restaurant as a group for our President's Club dinner. Imagine 50 rowdy folks all showing up at once but they pulled it off brilliantly. Service was superior and the overall attention they gave our team was superb! I had a Filet and...my friend next to me had the seabass. Both dishes were wonderful!More

My family went to eat Thanksgiving lunch. First of all I will get straight to my complaint. The tomahawk steak was medium cooked more like rare. The baked potatoes we got where cold and not done. I was so disappointed.

This restaurant lives up to its reputation. The ambience was very nice, the waiter was great and very helpful. Most of had a beef dish and all were cooked to precisely what each of us wanted. We were celebrating an award given by the Texas...Society of Architects and the waiter knew about it and provided a surprise dessert. A classy place and yes, on the expensive side but if you are going to celebrate, it a great place to go.More

Food: 5 / Service: 5 / Ambiance: 5 Know in advance...this is probably going to set your piggy bank back a few pennies or break it wide open, depending on your taste. Personally, this was the most expensive meal I've ever had. I felt deserving,...so I went all in. We were there for early dinner, around 6 pm and it was steady, but not busy. It's in downtown Fort Worth, a few blocks from Sundance Square and they do offer valet parking. The hostess was friendly and greeted and seated us immediately. Our server, Alex, was at the table almost immediately as well, took our drinks order and while he was getting drinks, another server came over with bread. Alex returned and went over the menu, the special offered on the night and left us to decide. Alex was great, he had another large, 9 person table, seated after we came in and another 2 top and he gave equal attention to all. We went with the tasting menu, with the A5 Wagyu upgrade, that got us: Two Appetizers (Wagyu Meatballs, Nueskes Bacon), Four Entrees: Filet, Prime NY Strip, Scallops and A5 Wagyu); Two Sides (Creamed Corn, Mashed Potatoes); Two Desserts (Butter Cake, Strawberry Cheesecake)...That's a lot of food! The bread is served as a tear apart loaf, soaked with butter and sprinkled with salt flakes. I was a bit disappointed with the bread, as it was not as hot as I'd expected and it seemed dry (crunchy dry) on the edges, like maybe sat longer than usual...it was still good and it didn't go to waste! We ate the meatballs entirely, which had a great flavor and the sauce on them had a bit of spicy/heat. We only tasted a couple of bites of bacon, which was coated with peppercorn and a sweet, sticky, glaze, but not BBQ sauce. Alex had the rest of the bacon boxed for us to take away. They bring out HOT plates, prior to bringing out the food...then the main event! On a single platter there was a whole Filet, the NY Prime sliced, the Wagyu sliced, the Scallops and all cooked perfectly. Don't be deceived on the menu by weight (ounces) seeming small...it was an impressive amount of meat on the platter. It was all tender and the flavor was wonderful. This was the first Wagyu I've had and it was rich, and beautifully marbled, and it just seemed to melt in your mouth. This was accompanied by a huge portion of mashed potatoes, which I think are some of the best mashed I've had, with an amazing taste of butter and scallions, clearly hand mashed because they are more like smashed (coarsely mashed), not smooth creamy, which I absolutely loved. The creamed corn was good, my daughter liked it more than I did, but it was creamy with peppers. People rave about it, so it may just be me. Last, but definitely not least...Desserts! We only at a bit of Butter Cake and the Ice Cream, so most of the cake and the Cheesecake went home with us. We ate about half of all of that food and what was left was packaged up for us to take with...we had a repeat of that meal the next day. The Cheesecake with Strawberry topping...it was good, not the best cheesecake I've had, but good overall. The Butter Cake on the other hand, OMG...it was much larger than I thought it would be, it came with Butter Pecan Ice Cream, was drizzled with Butterscotch topping and had what I can only describe as a cooked sugar top (I think maybe they put sugar and butter in the bottom of the pan, pour over the batter and once cooked turn it out of the pan so the yummy sugar crunch is on top of the cake)...however they do it, it's a dense, buttery, sweet, dessert heaven! They have many options to choose from on their menu and while upscale, it's comfortable, so suitable for a date night, a business dinner or a night out with family/friends. I'd definitely recommend it, particularly if celebrating a special event.More

We posted up at the bar after an event happy hour and had a wonderful evening! The bartenders were so on top of it and funny and made great wine recommendations. We had steaks and shrimp and a few other goodies and everything was amazing....The filet and hamachi stand out as best of the night but everything was very very good.More

Had a fair dinner at Del Fresco's in downtown Ft. Worth recently. Reservations for 7pm, we found the restaurant pretty much full up throughout. Valet parking ($9), professional level service throughout and fine interior environs expected. We enjoyed much of what was served on the...evening. Old fashioned cocktails were excellent. Seared tuna sashimi with Yuzu soy and Serrano chilli starter was better than expected, this measured up well with how this dish is served at higher end places in Hong Kong. Six layered lemon cake we had after dinner may have been the best of this type of cake I can recall ever being served. It was divine. These part of our evening were stellar. As for mains, the Chilean Sea Bass was nicely grilled and tasted decent. Crab rice served alongside was delicious. We actually enjoyed it more than the fillet. The 45 day dry-aged strip sirloin was good but probably should have been better. Requested medium rare, it was served medium instead. The steak presented natural beef flavour that was fine but only minimal hints of truffle. In this regard, it more resembled a 28 day aged steak compared to what one expects from cuts that have been aged for 45 days. Have to admit that I expected more from this steak ($105 M.P. on the evening). The side salad ordered was just fine. Overall, this was a good meal at Del Fresco's. Not as impressive as our previous meal here nearly 5 years ago when everything served was exceptional. This time around most of the meal shined but the mains were just ok. Still enjoyed the environs, great service and overall meal experience however.More

Great place, the best food, really good service. We only felt that we were being rushed. We were not even finished with a quarter of the salad (really just started robaste it) and the steaks and sides arrived without advice or asking if it was...OK. The desserts ad coffee; absolutely superb.More

Our recent stay in Fort Worth had us returning to Del Frisco's Double Eagle "4" times! The atmosphere, food, drinks and most importantly was our server "Cat". She not only remembered us from September, but our cocktails as well. It is rare to find such...caring and attentive service anymore. "Cat" is the main reason we prefer our dinners with Del Frisco's in Fort Worth and why we will be returning as soon as we can. All of the team there are welcoming and kind. Truly one of the few finer restaurants who still cater to the fine-dining experience.More

The bread: indescribable, fresh-baked, tear-apart rolls flaked with salt floating in pool of melted butter. Shanghai-style Fried Calamari was among the better twists on calamari I've had- crispy w/ peppers, peanuts, green onions, & sweet chili glaze. Del's Salad sounds ordinary, but was dressed in...avocado-based green goddess dressing, thick-cut bacon slices crisscrossed over greens, & giant, homemade, croutons. Heirloom Tomato & Burrata Salad was fresh & plated beautifully! That's a pretty good start, but where the bragging ends. The shared Tomahawk, Bone-in Ribeye, & Bone-in Filet were delicious, but absent of the memorable wow-factor that so many other steaks enjoyed in Texas & throughout the country have. The table went with medium, over medium-rare, as consensus is meat is served on the rare side, which did hold true. Lobster Mac & Cheese was favorite side, even over Twice-Baked Truffle, but none left me breathless. Staff did great job considering how packed the house was on Sat night; a considerable wait even w/ reservation, though our sides got dished out to other members of our party without consent in desperate clammer to make room on table. While everything was very good, I have to measure the experience against the standard had elsewhere. Simply put, there are better steaks experiences to be had in the Dallas-Ft Worth area.More

Our entire evening was a wonderful experience starting with the young men running the valet that were very nice. Our waiter Bradley was super knowledgeable and definitely gave great recommendations! We highly recommend getting any of their signature cocktails that are offered! We had the...pineapple martini. Dinner was fabulous! We both had a salad because you can’t pass up the del salad. I did the surf and turf and my husband had the 12 ounce filet Oscar style and we split the potatoes. Portions are generous for the cost. It was a fun date night and we will definitely come back!More

We dine inside but I am sure they have since all those restaurants with patios have to accommodate customers outdoor.

I think the $120 - $200 range for 2 people is possible but not with a high quality wine. They have a great wine cellar but none of it is inexpensive.
