Exceptional service. I wish I remembered my old man’s name. Such a gem! Maybe Wes? Anyhow food was fantastic. Desserts fantastic. Service top notch. Took clients. Everyone was happy.

The Angus was too salty and over seasoned. Expected a better experience for the price. We will not be returning to Old Hickory Steakhouse.

We had an excellent meal here before the Grand Ol’ OPRY. We had steak and sea bass for dinner with salad, and crab cakes for appetizers. Our sides were asparagus and roasted carrots. Everything was mouth watering. They have a great wine list and the...service was very good. The restaurant is inside the huge complex of a tropical paradise with an abundance of greenery and flowers. It was like being in a beautiful tropical forest. There was a light show for us that lasted 15 minutes during dinner. We would definitely go back.More

On the positive side, our waiter, Taylor, was fantastic, and so was the water person. On the negative side, the Chilean bass was absolutely tasteless! The atmosphere is nothing more than a faux Las Vegas…a lot of splashy show. For us, this restaurant is definitely...a “once is enough.” Also, I ordered a cosmopolitan and got some weird concoction that no way resembled what I ordered. They did remake it, but the result would not even make my top ten list. In addition, the Gaylord is a zoo with very little signage for directions. It took a great deal of walking & stairs to find this restaurant!More

Was able to get in without reservation. Other restaurants around had 1-2 hour wait, but steakhouse could work us in in 15 minutes. Service was phenomenal. Nick, our server, was absolutely amazing. He provided wonderful recommendations and everything was delicious (bacon starter, ribeye, angus filet)....He even brought me water in a “fancy” wine glass because although I wanted a beautiful cocktail, I am expecting so I stuck with water. He didn’t want me to feel left out. For dessert, he gave us an amazing chocolate dish as a congratulations gift. We were so lucky to get to meet Nick. The entire experience was incredible and unforgettable.More

A nice, quiet, upscale restaurant. Surrounding are very nice with the waterfalls. Great service, library bar is very elegant and reminiscent of of school steakhouses. Service is always impeccable.

We planned an early dinner for 4:30 as we had tickets for the Grand Old Opry at 7:00. We were seated just past our reservation time at 4:35 and our waited Laura came immediately. We ordered appetizers and dinner soon after. The food was very...good but we did not receive our meal until 6:10PM, and hour and a half after ordering. Others were seated after us and received their food before us. We were late to our concert and missed the first act because of this. Not happy with the service at all.More

First, I'll start with the not-so-great part of my review. I called the restaurant about one month in advance to check on availability for the anticipated date. I was told, by someone with a thick accent (French?) who answered the phone that I could not...make a reservation without being a guest in the hotel. We were not staying in the hotel. I rolled the dice and was able to book the reservation on line. I was never asked to prove that I was a guest or not. Needless to say we were seated in the terrace with a great view of the Christmas lights. The service was top notch and food was fantastic. I had the half rack of lamb and shared a salad and mash potatoes with my wife. I ordered a Fahrenheit 451 which is basically a cherry wood smoked old fashioned. It was absolutely delicious. The waiter brought out a small cake desert for my wife's birthday which was a great touch. We loved the décor of the venue as well as dining amongst the trees and lights. Other than the gruff person answering the phone, this was an amazing experience. We will go back again!!!!! For those of you dining before the 7 O'Clock Grand Ole Opry show: We made a 5p dinner reservation. We were seated promptly and had time to eat and get to the show with 30 mins to spare. Next time we will arrive early and utilize some of the lounging areas and have a pre-dinner drink. Enjoy!More

I have been lucky to experience this amazing restaurant a hand full of times. It is my go to for very special occasions. The atmosphere, service, and food are top notch every single time!! My husband and I were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary on...this visit. Our experience was as exceptional as always. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant if you live in or are visiting Nashville. The restaurant is gorgeous with an atmosphere like none other. The restaurant is in the middle of the Gaylord Opryland Hotel. When I have been asked over the years by people that visit Nashville what to do or where to go, I always recommend this hotel. This restaurant is in a mansion located inside the center of the hotel. I have traveled all over the world and this is definitely an amazing place to visit when in Nashville!!More

The place is beautiful!! The server was amazing. However we went for the smoked old fashions (we had then in Dallas) so we couldn’t wait to go back! There smoker wasn’t working. You would think with a convention happening you would have all your equipment...ready to go. Hopefully next time we will get that amazing flavor we were hoping for.More

My husband and I ate here for our anniversary. It’s my very picky sister’s favorite restaurant so we figured we’d try it. The cheese board was top notch as well as our service. We had the filet and NY strip, both good steaks but not...what we were expecting. Dessert was ok. Side items also ok. For the price I expected it to be amazing…will go to Ruth Chris next time as it’s much better (not to mention we had to pay $38 to park 🙄).More

Overpriced and disgusting. We loved seeing people in beach attire at "fine dining" along with child playing in the water fountains.
