Tequila Mockingbird is located in Paddington's Five Ways, in a lovingly restored terrace. The menu focuses on sharing plates that showcase a fun and sophisticated twist on traditional Latin American dishes, with the very best Australian produce and a beverage list from around the globe. Lunch on Sunday with pescatarians and myself with wheat and dairy allergies. Nothing was a problem...all the shared dishes we had were interesting, varied and innovative...and tasty! Service was excellent. Can't wait to return.
We did the tasting menu and asked for wine pairings after trying their recommended daily margarita. The margarita was excellent - a nice kick to it from jalapeno juice. The tasting menu is 3 raws, 2 from the middle and 1 from the flame. Every...More
My husband and I rarely get a night out alone without our children; Tequila Mockingbird seemed like the perfect choice. The ambiance is romantic while perfectly contrasted by the Latin music playing in the background. We came in expecting a relaxing experience and the only...More

Buzzy atmosphere. Irresistible name. Fresh food - but a bit too pricy to say this eatery is good value for money. The candlelit tables were so dim it was hard to see the dishes which - I think! - were well presented. The wait staff...More

Recently experienced a fantastic Sunday lunch at Tequila Mockingbird as a couple. Five course tapas with cocktail starter. The 700gram lamb shoulder was absolutely amazing, the knife went through the meat like butter. The service was also outstanding and along with a bespoke menu of...More
Food lacked seasoning (REALLY lacked seasoning), service was lacklustre, but the drinks were very good.
Menu is limited and choosing something was difficult due to the dishes lacking any appeal to me.
Was super excited to try the place after the reviews I had read,...More

Stunning food, fabulous service and gorgeous atmosphere with stacks of charm. We hadn’t reserved a table but they fit us in outside and then when the area was hit with a thunderstorm they kindly fit us in inside. Would recommend this to anyone.
