If you are seeking a Restaurant with stunning views, excellent food, unobtrusive, friendly service… well this is definitely the pick if Manly. Given the location we didn't have high expectations. However, we were very pleasantly surprised. Lovely, breezy restaurant looking out over the sea with a very chilled vibe. We hadn't booked but were quickly found a table and had delicious tapas which all came quickly lovely...faux mojito mocktail and rose for the husband. Lovely staff - although a couple were so chilled they seemed stoned!! Thoroughly recommend.More

For a touristy location, this is a pretty great option. Reasonable food and unpretentious service. Recommend the prawns and steak.

For a place that's rated so highly, the food was not up to it. The service was fine, the setting unbeatable, pricing reasonable. BUT the duck was overcooked and tough, the mash had a strange taste, almost watery and the spinach minimal. Rather a shame.

We dropped by for an afternoon coffee and dessert- The Pantry Manly is right on the beach with an incredible view. Food and drinks were excellent. Delicious Pavlova and banoffee Pie. Great Service. Highly recommended if you go to Manly beach.

Smiling happy staff greeted us,on arrival 👍 Seat by the window looking onto beach 👍 Food.... where do I start... we decided to mix it up with a combination of tapas and entrees.. Great choice. Scallops with manchego sublime, chorizo with a great char, yummy,...prawns in a light Thai red sauce..just delicious... charcuterie board...banoffe pie..Great pint gris... hats off to the chef, backed up by a great friendly front of house team. Currently on our forth Manly Staycation for Seven nights since Covid turned the world upside down. As before, I make our dinner bookings a couple of months in advance . The Pantry was our first last night.When I phoned I was told there would be...two sittings & opted for the second at 8:15 PM.At 7 last night I decided to phone to see If we could get in a little earlier.My booking was identified & the very obliging staff member said I’ll have a lovely table set for you at 7:30.When we arrived the place was pumping.I could see the only vacant table was up front with a magnificent ocean view. I knew we were going to have a beautiful dinner . We shared an entree of magnificent sliced cold meats & as a main my wife had a lamb dish with so many elements she described as superb.I went for the Fish & Chips , top quality WA fish with a delightfully crunchy batter. Washed down with a beautiful SA Pinot noir.Couldn’t have been better.Deserts looked great, but sadly, we were full.Staff worked tirelessly & kept asking if we were happy.This restaurant is the best in Manly for views & one of our top seven for food & service. Pricing is most reasonable for such quality & location.Thanks for making our first dinner so memorable.More

This is a little treasure just next to the north-eastern end of The Corso. I think this used to be a lifeguard station, as there are signs around this that indicate it was. The staff were brilliant and more than accommodating. We rocked up too...early after a mix up. They ensured that we had a table well before we were meant to and handled this incredibly well. We were most grateful. The food and drink were excellent and exceeded my expectations. The view from the restaurant was stunning. We were there at sunset. I’d recommend this place to anyone. Top notch.More

We were there to visit our son & his fiancée. They got married while we were there. So The Pantry was a focal meeting point for both families to meet at any time of the day, from breakfast over the rising sun to dinner watching...the sunset. It’s great for Family celebrations!More

There were five of us out for a family meal, one of us was arriving later than the rest. The young man serving us (i think his name was Owen) came to the table and asked about drinks. He looked down at the table and...picked up one of the water glasses and apologised that it was not clean disappeared and returned with another glass he then held this one up to light promptly walked away and came back with another glass. This set the tone for me that a young man took his job seriously and had a very high standard of customer service. The food here is well worth the visit, I had the herb crusted rack of junee lamb. The lamb was cooked to perfection. Need to say there was nothing left on our plates.More

When we saw how perfectly located this place was, we thought maybe the food would just be ok. Happily the food was wonderful! Started with 2 mock tails that were lovely and not too sweet. Tried local oysters that were outstanding as were the 2...sauces. Every component of our meal was delicious and interesting. Loved the teamwork of the staff. Great people watching.
