Stopped by on a Sunday lunchtime and very impressed with the choices. We both went for the soup and sandwich combination which was excellent. We had a coffee but couldn't manage one of there stunning looking cakes. We will just have to go back again...to try their cakes.More

Six of us stopped by for brunch. Wonderful food and nice staff. Plenty of choices and good baked goods and coffee. Not too busy and was easy to find. Plus a nice little dog to keep us company!

Lovely setting, tasty food, reasonably priced, lovely staff. What more could you want for lunch or super selection of cakes for afternoon tea.

2 adults, 1 child in a wheelchair and the dog all thought this was a lovely little place. Lots of outdoor but sheltered seating and indoor options available too. Food (vegan and non vegan) was delicious as was the cake. Service was very welcoming and...friendly.More

Really lovely atmosphere, great food in quirky surroundings, including a log burner. I enjoyed a bacon roll; complete with salsa side and a herby vibe; and a beautiful slice of cake. Dog friendly; indoor and outdoor covered seating. If you are anywhere near; take a...detour.More

Enjoyed a couple of beers in the excellent new bar. Beautifully decorated, a lot of thought, time and effort has gone into the refurbishment. Superb selection of unusual beers, highly recommended.

Cafe looked lovely with comfortable chairs but was absolutely freezing cold - when we mentioned we were cold, we were told heating was on a timer and we were given 1 blanket between us! The waitress that served us wore a woollen hat and a...big duvet type gilet, it was that cold🥶 Our food was very good but service was very slow and service was not good, we ordered a pot of tea but got 2 mugs and told no pots of tea! I asked for sweeteners and much later was handed a very dirty plastic sweetener container😩 When I paid the bill, beside the till was the dirtiest cleaning cloth I have ever seen! Need to up their game, we won't be back which is a shame because food was good and lovely situation near the Loch!More

This cafe is a jewel that sits a few miles outside of the town of Kirriemuir. It has become one of our favourite places to eat. The staff are extremely friendly and the food is delicious. It is a fixed seasonal menu but the food...is different from the normal cafe's in the area. The main courses are delicious and the home-baked cakes are so tasty especially the rich homemade carrot cake. This is indeed one of our favourites in fact it is nice to take some home with you 😁 One if the most dog friendly cafés we have visited with the dogs getting as big a welcome as the humans. Keep up the good work and look forward to our next visit 😍More
