This place has a great location the front. The interior is lovely and the staff were lovely and very attentive. The food was fab! We would definitely return.

Such a fun visit. Food and wine very good, but what really made it was the wonderful friendly server. Her smiles and upbeat attitude was fantastic. See if you can get the table upstairs overlooking the harbour

The website states that this restaurant is gluten free friendly. We wanted to visit during tennerfest My husband phoned to book a table and to confirm that they could cater for someone on a gluten free diet. They said they could and to discuss the...menu on arrival. This we did. The waitress talked me through the menu From the starters only one of the seven offered was gluten free This was the Dirty Thermidor. From the mains I could choose between the Steak or one of the Moules options, providing I understood that the oil used for frying was not solely used for gluten free food. There was a choice of two deserts. Apart from the limited choice I have the following issues:- -The Dirty Thermidor had one prawn in it and I did not see or taste crab. I mentioned this to the waitress as I started eating it. Only after I finished the course did she suggest doing something about it. This was too late! - Despite knowing I was a coeliac I was given the non gluten free bread with my Moules. I had to call the waitress to change the bread to the gluten free alternative. -The cheese and biscuits was actually cheese and bread. A good restaurant should be able to supply the readily available gluten free cheese biscuits. They are in all the shops and they are not expensive! I would not call my experience gluten free friendly and will not be visiting again when next in Guernsey.More

We went yesterday for lunch whilst visiting Guernsey. We chose The Catch especially because of the Banana Flower in beer batter option as a plant based option to Fish and Chips. We weren’t disappointed, it was really delicious. An inspired menu, great fresh food with...an understanding of dietary needs. It’s a nice environment, with efficient/friendly service, a great playlist and an interesting selection of gins. Would definitely go again.More

My wife and I walked along the harbour front at St Peters Point looking for a nice restaurant and were struck by the outward appearance if this establishment, especially the Moules on the menu. We booked and ate here the following evening and were lucky...to get a table on the 1st floor overlooking the harbour. My wife ordered the Le Creme Moules and I took advantage of the early dinner deal of two courses for 15 GBP, which included a sirloin steak. The ambience is really nice due to great decour and friendly & efficient staff and service; they were very busy! My wifes meal was stunning but unfortunately, maybe reflective of the price, my steak was tasty but not tender and the blue cheese sauce was more like a jue. My desert biscof sunday was delicious. Whilst I ate mst of my dinner I did highlight my disappointment to the staff who were sympathetic and appreciative of my concerns. However, no discount was offered for my dissatisfaction; that said, we would give them a second chance.More

Pre booked here rated on the reviews and were not disappointed- both mum and I had the mussels served with chips and crusty bread, everything was excellent and the service given was polite, happy and courteous. So enjoyed everything that we booked for a second...time and had fish and chips - again excellentMore

This restaurant deserves a minus rating. We were asked to vacate our table, by the owner, whilst still eating the desert. 8 hours after leaving the restaurant I got severe sickness and diarrhoea. The only source was 'The Catch". Thus, apart from the dreadful service,...I got poisoned by the food. I will be reporting this to Guernsey Health Department.More

Dear Tawsailor, we have tried to reason with you and apologised, but you are a very angry person, shouting at us with too much anger. You have created two false tripadvisor accounts to leave negative feedback. And tripadvisor have removed one of them. And we...More

We dropped in early on our first night in St Peters Port and got the last available table. Excellent service and very good moules and fish and chips. We booked again for our last night having looked at the menu on the website but found...dishes shown were not available which was a bit disappointing.! Moules again good but the baked cod was poor. Need to freshen and widen the menu a little and could be a great restaurant. Despite these comments a good value, good quality and good atmosphere place so recommend.More
