We visited this gem of a restaurant on 26 September 2021. Greeted by lovely Scottish lady who made us very welcome. I had heard good things about this place and I was not disappointed. The food was exceptional. I would go as far as saying...the best place to eat in St Helliers. It’s not a large place, the staff are really busy, constantly on the go, but always polite and attentive. I highly recommend you try this gem of a place, make sure you book so you won’t be disappointed.More

What a fantastic restaurant. We chose it because of the reviews and we’re not disappointed. Service was fantastic and the fillet steak literally melted in the mouth. Everything was perfection. Thank you

Aromas is a small bistro which is away from the majority of eateries in St. Helier. However, its relative seclusion does not hamper its popularity as it was full on both occasions we dined there. The fact that it is a small restaurant adds to...the atmosphere and ambience. The friendliness of the staff make you feel very welcome and valued as a customer, whether a first-timer or regular. The food is superb. The restaurant owner is also the chef so clearly takes pride in what he prepares. Being on Jersey, seafood features prominently on the menu. I had the seafood platter main course on my first visit and is to die for and absolutely delicious. My fillet steak on my second visit was cooked to perfection (rare). I can also recommend the duck spring roll starter and the chicken goujons. There is also a good choice of wines at reasonable prices. So many eateries will hoist a large mark-up on their wines but not here. It made for a pleasant surprise. The portions are very generous. Think you've seen a duck spring roll? Think again. Not until you've eaten here you haven't! And the seafood platter was exactly that. I'm sure this place must be doing itself out of pudding orders given the size of the starters and mains. Needless to say that you will leave Aromas very satisfied. We were only in Jersey for a week. The fact that we chose to eat here twice speaks volumes and is testament to how good it is.More

Cannot believe that this is number 4 in St Helier as there are so many other restaurants that outshine this establishment. We opted for the early bird wanting to book for 6.45 but were told the only time was 6pm. We expected a good relaxing...evening after all the reviews but were so disappointed. The first impression is that the staff were all on skates judging by the speed they darted round the room with hardly a breath to spare. My wife opted for the duck spring rolls - but they were soggy and not in any way crispy as they should be. The main fish was quite good. My steak pie was ok but not special. The two tiramisu sweets came straight from the freezer and were utterly tasteless. The Merlot house wine was ok but the house Sauvignon blanc was dreadful. Not a place we will visit again.More

This is a high quality family run restaurant which justifies its excellent reputation.I booked online in advance of our holiday in Jersey to ensure we could get a table for this very popular venue. We enjoyed our meal so much that we immediately booked another table...for later in the week. For my first visit I had the fillet steak and my wife had the cajun pork, both of which were delicious. On our second evening I had the rack of lamb which was beautifully cooked and my wife enjoyed the chicken stir fry. The food quality is very high, the table service outstanding and the prices very reasonable for the standard of meals provided. If we go to Jersey again we would certainly look to eat here as a priority.More

Found this place on Tripadvisor. Lovely little restaurant. Food was fantastic and the staff were very attentive. Could not recommend this place more highly. To ensure a table would recommend booking although we were lucky and managed to get a table on the night after...a short wait. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in St Helier.More
