Not what it used to be...

Over the years, this Chinese Buffet was top notch. Their biggest draw was, "All" the crab legs you can eat! They also served "large" Jumbo Fried Shrimp. The crab legs are now a special order and the shrimp shrunk to bite size. They have kept up a good variety of dishes, but the food is often luke warm or cool. They made a serious attempt to be Covid-19 compliant. They have a table at the Buffet with a sign that asks for you to either put on a serving glove or wash your hands with sanitizer before getting your plate. Unfortunately, they don't have an employee there to monitor compliance. They do have several hand sanitizer stations available and they clean tables after each use.

Warm not hot food...a health issue?

My husband and I decided to go back to this China King and give it another try. Much of the food was good. However, most was simply lukewarm which I feel can be a health issue if not at the right temperature. Two of the items we had (one was chicken) was dried out and too tough to chew. It seemed as though it was left over and reheated. This was at approx. 11:30 am. The skin on my chicken wing wasn't even brown. Fatty! I did not eat it. We won't be back. But there are a lot of choices....check the temperature.

Mediocre Buffet

The buffet has a nice variety for just about everyone. They also have a grill that you can get fresh ingredients and will cook it for you. They did away with thge crab legs, probably due to cost and having trouble keeeping the trays filled. They still have plenty of "small" shrimp in various dishes available. The food is good when it's hot! Most of the items are warm, some even a bit cool! The food bins are normally staked way too high preventing the top to get to the proper temperature. They allow unattended young children to go to the buffet and get food. It's extemely difficult to keep the area clean and especially the desert areas.

I have had better for less $

I usually have chicken and broccoli with chicken sauteed, it gets mushy when fried. Hot and sour soup was bland, hot but bland. If you ever get to Paducah eat at Chongs you will see big difference. Sushi was not very flavorful, deli at a store at home is better. Any of sea food was very good I thought 12.50 for lunch was high

disappointment!

Family decided it was time to get out. Went for dinner. First food was cold and bland. When got the check, I was blown away, prices went up about 50%. Real shocker. Laid cash on table for tip, waiter made a smart ass remark in his language, he wanted more. Will not, say again Will Not go back.

Server demand more for tip

In general the food was okay. But when it comes to payment, one of the servers actually demanded that I pay more for “tip”. I gave him $10 but he said that it’s not enough. I was totally shock to hear him say that. In fact, he came back and returned the $10 with a negative attitude. I’m never going back there again.

It's a good place where they ripping you off for your money and the food is disgusting

I'm in really disappointed food is getting worse and worse I have lunch buffet and also take a little bit of chicken and rice to go they charged me Buffet $12.48 plus $13.18 just for the rice and chicken wish they well overcharge me I asked why they charged me alot I think it was a female owner she was the cashier my receipt say open sales whatever that means I only have a little bit of rice and chicken to go and she answered me with the attitude that food it wasn't even good with no kind of flavor and chicken was tough it makes me feel like they ripped me off that place need to go out of business because I know they're ripping people off with the food they sure ain't going to take my money anymore...

Very disappointed

Unfortunately, the quality of food had decreased greatly. The beef was stringy and difficult to chew. The broccoli in the "hot" entrees was underdone and cut in very large portions. We will not return due to the inconsistency.

Not a good first time

Food was average. The Gen Tso chicken was extremely tough/chewy and lacked flavor. Reviews were misleading. First and last time for us.

Didn’t enjoy it

Got sick from dinner buffet. Food was average at best. Dont eat the ice cream. It’s self serve where the customer scoops their own. Watched lots of hands...arms...finger work their way into those ice cream buckets. It was gross. Won’t go back

Second time, just as bad

Service was good. Too bad the food wasn't. Food was lacking flavor. Much of it tasted like it was old and dried out. Steamed food shouldn't be dry on top. Sushi was old tasting. Beef was chewy. Egg drop soup lacked flavor. Only reason we went was a friend that we were visiting liked it. My companion had an upset stomach all night. Never again. Maybe both times we were there were bad times. never again.

We went to China King and the food was good. But, the service was even better. If you want to eat right away thus is the place to go. Lots of selections.
