This is a fun local brewpub! My wife and I came here back in June after visiting Fort Donelson National Park and we're really glad we stopped in here. We got fried green tomatoes for our appetizer and they were very tasty; the dollop of pimento cheese on top was a nice touch and it paired well with them. My wife got a chicken burrito bowl and she really enjoyed it and I got the fish and chips with sweet potato fries and they were very good as well. The beer was better than average and it was only $6.75 for a 5 beer flight, which is a hell of deal. My wife really liked her pomegranate mojito too and we had a great dinner. We definitely recommend coming here!

I’m really glad to have another local joint to frequent. We tried the shrimp & grits, as well as a bourbon mushroom burger. They were both phenomenal! Our server (so sorry, can’t remember her name) went above & beyond. I told her we were splitting the dishes, and she brought the burger out cut in half, on separate plates so we could share it easily. So thoughtful! The beer was also great, we will be back & back & back!!! Can’t wait to try their brunch!

We started with the fried green tomato appetizer and loved every bite. Then we had the grilled pimento cheese and the Chicken Bacon Mac and Cheese and were equally impressed. They were both perfect for a cold and windy day. The service was great as was the beer selection. No doubt that we'd go back if we were in the area.

When I read the online menu for this place, I was excited to try it. Menu items looked original, flavorful, and I am always happy to patronize places that use local resources. The meal itself was poorly executed, however, and definitely did not live up to my expectations. For the appetizer, we got the fried green tomatoes, served with house made pimento cheese and tomato jelly. Those were actually well seasoned, and pretty good. They also arrived pretty quickly. I got the bourbon burger, made with gruyere and smoked Gouda cheese, as well as bourbon mushroom sauce. I had fries as a side. I ordered the burger medium, but it was served well done, and more like a smash burger. The burger and the mushroom sauce was so salty, it overpowered the flavor of the cheese. The fries were greasy and soggy and limp. My husband had the fish and chips. He felt the same about the fries as I did, and said the fish was ok, but not crispy, was greasy, and under-seasoned. I had Clarksville sour, made with a local vodka from Old Glory, and it was way too sweet and syrupy for me. My husband did like his beer, and they have several beers to try. They offer two free samples. Service was ok, and I understand restaurants are just now starting to open back up, but we got our appetizer well before we ever got silverware or plates. After the fairly speedy arrival of the appetizer, it took a very long time to receive our entree. If timing was better, a place like this could have used the extra time to sell more beer, cocktails, or deserts, but we were in a hurry to make it to an appointment, so had to ask for the check as soon as our food finally arrived. I would try this place again because everyone has an off day. But I would not go out of my way to go here or take a friend here.

We decided to try the Upper Room of Strawberry Alley for their pizza. We waited for about 30 minutes before we were shown to a coffee table with three low-sitting chairs. I asked if we could have the table on the other side of the room that seated 4. The hostess said she had to wipe it down but did relocate us. We had seen the same sitting areas available for half the time we had been standing and waiting. It is extremely loud! We had asked while we had been waiting for a menu and were told we had to use the QR code and look at the menu online. One of us had no phone, the other's phone did not recognize the code so we could only access the online menu on one phone. At this time it would have been nice if she said you can only order from the brunch menu because we would not have stayed. After our drinks of one soda, one water, and one tea was brought and we tried to order a pizza we were told only breakfast pizzas were available and we could only order off the brunch. I went to find out the waitress to tell her to just charge us for the tea and soda because we could not be staying. After the manager was called over she rather rudely asked what I wanted I said I wanted pizza, she said she would do that. but of course, I didn't know what anyone else wanted. I said no, but it would have thank you we will just pay for the drinks. It would have been nice if she said no charge for the inconvenience. But no, I was presented with a bill for just under $6 I left a $20 and told waitress to keep the change. It would have been nice if they had told us almost an hour beforehand that the choice for eating was the only brunch, but at the very least a soda and ice tea should have been on the house. So disappointing we will not return. Clarksville has nothing to offer in terms of decent resturants, best option drive to Nashville.

This place was just okay. Our server was new, but she used that at an excuse for everything. A group of people I worked with decided to come on a Saturday evening at six. Was not crowded but by the time we left most seats were filled. Atmosphere is rustic and chill. Bar is standard, nothing fancy. None of us liked the fact we had to scan the menu on our phones. The menu was very small and pricey for absolutely no reason. We ordered The fish tacos that tasted like an onion taco and chicken sliders that was on a sour dough bun with no sauce, just a piece of chicken. I myself ordered the bourbon burger which was delish, that came with a side of Coleslaw that again was cabbage and onion. One of my friends got the chicken and Mac and cheese, well it was really just a big bowl of Mac and cheese. One other got the fajita bowl, and that was served with some fried hard greasy chips. It was six of us and the food was mediocre. I don’t have a reason to go again, the prices and food is not worth it.

We went here due to the good reviews but were so disappointed. We ordered shrimp and fried green tomato Benedict. The shrimp had no flavor and neither did the tomatoes. The biscuits were tasteless and they forgot the hollandaise sauce. When I finally got the sauce it also had no flavor. I didn’t even eat half of the meal. My husband got the chicken and waffles. The chicken was also not seasoned and the waffle was undercooked. We tried this place for the first time but definitely won’t be back.

Wow. Just wow! We were looking for "best restaurants in Clarksville" and this one was way down on the screen but I'm glad we found it. We went in for a Saturday brunch - the mimosas were awesome and only $5. My husband loved the beer selection. I had the eggs benedict and my husband had the shrimp and grits. Everything was delicious. But the best part was the bartenders - two fantastic women (I wish I remembered their names). They were attentive, friendly, funny, and had a way of convincing me that I needed a third mimosa just as I was contemplating the third one. We will be back. If you complain about parking and do not have a disability (we were there while there was a farmer's market/street fair), you must be afraid to walk about three blocks. Kind of a crazy thing to complain about if you're planning to consume about 1000 calories.

We really enjoy brunch here. The breakfast burrito, breakfast quesadilla and omelet are our family favorites. I love the $1 mimosas at brunch👍🏼 (During normal, non-covid times the restaurant includes shuffleboard, corn hole, board games and bluegrass music.) The wait staff is attentive and we always enjoy it!

We had not eaten here in quite a while but we thought we would make the drive to get there. We made a reservation since the restaurant is under a 50% seating format. We arrived about 5 minutes early and were seated immediately! Everyone was super friendly and helpful. They have a varied menu and my only problem was deciding what to get since I wanted to try it all. Service was quick and the food did not disappoint. Everything we got was excellent, We will definitely going back soon

We did not eat here; we only stopped in to have a beer. We were spending a few hours in Clarksville after a long motorcycle ride and this place did not disappoint. It was very open and spacious. We sat at the bar at the young lady who took care of us was a doll, so very friendly. I wish we would have eaten here, the menu had tons of items and the meals we saw being served looked delicious.

Strawberry Alley Ale Works is a great restaurant in Clarksville TN The restaurant/pub offers a varied menu and is open 7 days a week. A brunch menu is available on Sunday. The interior is industrial and very well done. The food was excellent with generous portions and great service. A patio area is available that overlooks the river. The restaurant also has a bar area with a variety of drinks and craft beers. Highly recommend

Lunch at Strawberry Alley was better than expected after reading some reviews. Have no idea why anyone would complain about the food or service. We had a delicious meal and the service was excellent. Highly recommend the chicken burrito bowl and the, always safe choice, chicken strips, fries and slaw. The restaurant was crowded for a Thursday lunch which is a good sign. So don’t wait get to Strawberry Alley ASAP. We will be back!

Poor service, below average food. I went to this restaurant for a lunch at noon and just ordered a club sandwich and water. The restaurant was not packed during a weekday lunch, but it took me over 45 minutes to get my simple lunch order. I had to flag my server down for water refills. My club sandwich was salty and had cucumbers on it, which was not listed on the menu. The sandwich was soggy, and the side cheddar grits were very salty as well. Other customers had long waits for their food. The decor and location are excellent. This place might work for a bar.

We came here with our daughter, who recently moved to town, and her boyfriend, when the rest of us came to visit from out of state. It's one of her favorite places to eat in Clarksville, and rightly so! Almost everything on the menu sounds amazing ( I had a really hard time narrowing down what I wanted to eat). The six of us had had the Potato Chip nachos, Bourbon Burger, the House-made Veggie burger, Blackened Fish Tacos, Chicken Bacon Mac & Cheese, the Chicken Burrito bowl, and the Shrimp and Grits. Everyone enjoyed their food and the portion sizes were perfect. I especially loved my Shrimp and Grits. The service was pleasant, the decor was warm and comfortable and we enjoyed the evening. We had hoped to come back for weekend brunch, but our schedule did not allow while we were in town.
