Delicious and excellent service

Just had a delicious lunch here. Although they were busy with locals and visitors, we waited less than ten minutes. Staff was extremely efficient. We were quickly seated and waited on. I ordered the chicken and dumplings which was served hot and fresh $6.99. My husband got the country boy breakfast which was also served hot and fresh $11.49. Both of our meals were delicious. Large portions. Annette was our server and she was beyond excellent. Friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable regarding the menu. She checked on us several times despite how busy she was. Tables were cleaned, bussed and diners quickly seated. No problems with staff here.

Grabbed Dinner and then Breakfast - both were delicious!

We arrived to our hotel on Saturday afternoon (during the Thanksgiving holiday) and we were pleasantly surprised to see that it was located next door to the restaurant. Since we were ready to eat we chose to order our meal online and it was ready within 25 minutes. My husband walked over and grabbed our order, when he returned, everything was fresh and correct. We all enjoyed the delicious meal so before departure the next morning, we met up with other family members (who live in Clarksville) and enjoyed breakfast with them before we got back on the interstate. My Uncle is a frequent visitor at this location (almost daily) and we had great customer service with a delicious meal for our party of 7!

One thing I really like about Cracker Barrel is that no matter what state you visit it, its very consistent. The food was awesome, service really good, and larger then any other CB I've been too. Management is doing a great job there!

Disappointed

We are pretty regular CB customers at home or as we travel. Needing a hot meal on our travels through this area, we chose to stop at the Clarksville CB. We were really disappointed. First, the food was slow to come and then when it did, it was so unsatisfactory (barely warm, overcooked, not seasoned). But our waitress did not return other than a quick stop to ask about drinks when her hands were full with other stuff. Had we complained, we were concerned that we would have had another long wait. And part of the order was wrong, too. We ordered a smaller option of a fish meal but got the large portion and charged for the large portion. So overall, we were disappointed with our meal and would not give them a recommendation to others.

We stopped by Cracker Barrel for a late breakfast / early lunch today. My eggs and sausage were good and as expected. The grits were sitting in the dish too long and developed some solid chunks. The sausage gravy and biscuits were fine. My wife’s chick fried steak was a big disappointment. The gravy was the same as was served with my biscuit…sausage gravy, not traditional white gravy. The meat was NOT steak but hamburger meat. Name of dish clearly mislead us to believe this was to be steak, not hamburger. This with the sausage gravy made for a very bad dish. I’d recommend Cracker Barrel but stick to very clear selections that are hard to screw up.

Slow service and cold food

Went to Cracker Barrel and got seated right away. The waitress took our order and it was about an hour before we got it. When it did arrive it was not even warm. The mashed potatoes were hard and I had ask for gravy and never got it. My wife had ordered the 3 pancakes and they said she only ordered 1. Our friend that went with us ordered Chicken and Dumplins and they were also cold. I have never had this happen before at the Clarksville TN location. We use to go there all the time. Won't be back until something changes. (Servers, Cooks or maybe store manager)

Doesn’t serve pork chops

Have been to probably 30 different Cracker Barrels and this is the first time we couldn’t get pork chops. We only go there because the wife and I love there pork chop dinner. Was told they only have pork chops on Saturday. Then told my son that he couldn’t get a plain chicken breast. Glad we don’t live in the area because we would have to eat at Waffle House more.

No surprises here

We stopped for lunch in July before continuing a long drive and were not surprised by the food or the service at this Cracker Barrel. We have been to many of these franchises and this one was very good with the food we expected, good service, and a smile. It was not crowded so that was helpful, too.

Great job for a large catering order at the last minute!

Hats of to the Crew at the Clarksville TN Cracker Barrel. I needed to do a large lunch (for 40 people) with short notice. I ordered the food on Tuesday afternoon (7/11) and picked it up at 11:30 on Thursday (7/13). They had EVERYTHING ready, it was hot and a great variety. The team was exceptionally pleased with the quality of the food and the quantity of food. Thank you for making this a great experience. I have to do this again next month (week of 8/7) and I will be ordering again from you.

WORST Restaurant experience we’ve ever

We passed a Cracker Barrel that was reviewed at 2.5 stars to get to this one. Took 15 min to take our DRINK order, asked the waitress how she was doing she told Us how bad she didn’t wanna be there. Waited 45 min for food, showed up completely cold and tasted terrible, no exaggeration. I’ve never left a review on a restaurant ever in my life, it was so bad I’m leaving one now. We got up, called a manager, and left.

Great service

We had 7 in our group and did not all arrive at same time. Waitress took care of us with biscuits and cornbread. We kept her busy until we were done. Food was like normal, basic and good although hamburger steak was dry.

Food is so, so and lots of tourists

We were kinda disappointed in the food. Most of the sides were prepared in advance and Luke warm to cold. Service is good but hurried and rushed. Lastly, lines and lines of tourists making it difficult to find seating in a timely manner.

No more pork for breakfast

Pork chops used to be a meat option for the Country Boy Breakfast, but some genius at Cracker Barrel decided to remove them from the menu. Sad, it is what got me to Cracker Barrel, often. Now, I don’t bother going at all. My absence probably won’t make a difference. I understand you can get on Saturday after 11:00………duh!

First time visit

The sunrise sampler was yummy! The server did not bring butter with meal. I thought I would need to ask for butter so I could put it on my biscuit and grits. The food was so good that I decided I didn’t need it. To enter the dining area you walk through a store with cute random stuff for sale. Very refreshing because it wasn’t all touristy chain store brand items. I almost missed the hostess calling our table because I was having a lot of fun shopping. Great food for a great price and a lovely way to start the morning.

You can not go wrong at eating at a Cracker Barrel. They have food for anyone whether it is for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. My wife loves the Southern Fried Chicken. The vegetable platter is also great.
