We stopped by the Keowee Towne Market after a hike at Keowee-Toxaway Park. There is not much to choose from in this area without a longer drive and this place is about 2.5 miles away from the Park. They are in a very good location...to service all the hikers and campers who visit this Park. Everyone in my group liked their food and the service was good. When you walk into the restaurant, grab a menu and pick what you want. Then go to the cash register to pay for your meal, and then they will prepare your order and call out your name to come get it. There is also a store in the same area where you can pick up grocery items. This is really convenient for any campers or hikers who go to Keowee-Toxaway who forgot something and don't want to drive far. My sandwich and onion rings were good and everyone at the table enjoyed their food. There are cute sayings written near the ceiling on chalkboards - very unique and entertaining. Also the store, restaurant, and bathrooms were very clean and there is plenty of parking.More

Well, it's the ONLY thing for miles around. But, the pizza is quite good. There is a GREAT to-go beer and wine selection, and an OK selections of bottled beers you can drink with your meals. They also have sandwiches and you can pick up...a few groceries from the store if you like.More

Very happy having this store in a fairly remote area. Great pizza and food! Great service! Very friendly people running the store. Having a liquor store nearby is an asset too!

Here in "The Falls" during the off season things are pretty quiet. On the last day of our visit we had need for a quick lunch on the way to the airport. We stopped in to The Market and placed an order at the deli....I ordered the "Keowee Club" and that was the best club sandwich I have ever had, and I have had a few. The market features Boars Head meats and some really fresh tomatoes & lettuce, the triple deck Texas toast that had a grilled in butter taste, was out of this world. It is because this Keowee Club sandwich that I made this review. The staff was just as pleasant and helpful as they could be.More

Don't think of this in terms of a grocery or farm market -- no fruits, veggies here unless it is on the deli sandwiches. We stopped for milk on our way to the villa we rented for a quick getaway. In off-season, we found a...little of this and a little of that. Lots of wine...most of the inventory is on the wine shelves. But don't expect groceries here. No milk, no bread. We did find marshmallows, organic eggs and a little of this and that, perhaps left over from summer stock. I assume this is mostly a local place that serves the surrounding residential area. We were told they do stock more inventory in summer. The deli serves good sandwiches (and I have heard the pizza is wonderful but they close at 6 and we missed that!) Prices were a little steep in the deli, but you did get a lot of meat on your sandwich. The staff was extremely helpful and went out of their way to make our visit pleasant. Go for the deli sandwiches and pizza. But don't expect a market.More

Love to stop in and find beers that other places don't stock. For years, if I'm headed up or down hwy 11, I search for a new one. Good place for for a sandwich also. Worth stopping in.

Located just 3 miles from the Lake this place offers excellent short order grill cooking and is great for lunch or late afternoon dining. Friendly service and also a...great beer & wine selection. We were on our way to Jocasse for the full moon lake cruise and stopped here for a quick bite. The food is great. We had sandwiches, fries, coleslaw which were all excellent. They make pizza from scratch as well. Smelled so good. If you...need to pick of things for a cabin or if you live or spend time nearby this is a good place to pick up wine, beer and staples. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The area is so beautiful. Great stopping off point for any activities. Cheers!!!More
