There were many places recommended for calamari so it was a difficult decision where to stop since we were here for 1 night! Excellent choice to choose Edgewood! The fried calamari and oysters were tasty and perfectly prepared! Hank you Chris for your gracious service!

this is the BEST local restaurant you will ever visit..Service is always prompt and friendly Favorites for us are, salmon, steaks, burgers, and the spinach salad is to die for..Fish and chips is a great dish as well..everything is fresh and prepared just as ordered....We order take out now, however seating indoors, and outdoors, weather permitting, is available. Family owned..give them a try and help then get thru these difficult times!!More

Came here as a solo as I was traveling for business. Got here as soon as it opened so I had my pick of seats (I estimate it seats 30), Corner place, sat by the window so the view out was nice. I ordered the...special (dinner and app). They had Manhattan Clam chowder which is rare (I think anyway) in the New England states. There was plenty of diced clams which was great. Broth was tasty, but I did think the potatoes were to many and to big. The special was corn, chourro, tomatoes, white wine, garlic and littlenecks. It was excellent. Great flavors. It was served with bread. I would go back just for that. Edgewood is BYOB. Plenty of parking around back if there isn't anything on the street. Wait staff was great.More

Great little (cozy) cafe in a little neighborhood setting. It's only open for 5-9 pm, and seating is very limited (beware). It's BYOB which really helps to cut down costs on any meal you have while eating out. The food is just so good, really...great ingredients, made to perfection. What a gem this little place is. I love it.More

Great food and atmosphere. They have really good daily specials,if your like veggie burgers you have to try it here. They are a byob and if you forget to bring some there are two liquor stores close by.

The café is a quaint neighborhood BYOB. The menu is not huge, which was nice and not to overwhelming. They had a few specials that sounded amazing. The atmosphere was very comfortable and the staff is friendly as well. We were going to see a...performance at The Park Cinema in Cranston so this was perfect, a hidden gem.More

Overall the food is good, but some dishes are definitely overpriced. Flat iron steak should not cost $30. The Calimari is excellent as are the salmon dishes. The menu has been pretty static over the years and the specials are routine. Good staff. Great BYOB.

Our favorite dinner spot...we walk over at least twice a month to sample a special like the ratatouilla or an old standby like the fish n chips...This cozy BYOB cafe has great meatballs and spaghetti and a killer beer and goat cheese salad...Save room for...dessert though because the bananas Mondale and the brownie sundae should not be missed! Enjoy!More

Cozy and welcoming place with plenty of on-street parking. Portions are generous: two in our party shared a meal, and another took half home. The food was good---and being BYOB---the price was right. We will go back.

We had the opportunity to have dinner and were pleasantly surprised. It is a very small place, cozy and the food is very good especially their calamari. My husband had the fish and chips and the batter was very light and the fish fresh. I...had the Mediterranean chicken and it was good but lacked something. It's good to go to a restaurant that is BYOB since there aren't many around. We definitely will be back.More

Had read good reviews. We waited about 30 minutes for a table. This is a BYOB restaurant. I wanted the fried calamari, but it was sold out. I opted for the fried oysters which were amazing. My friend a non-oyster eater even liked them. I...also had the beet & Gorgonzola cheese salad-truly delicious with the earthy sweet taste of beets ad the distinct taste of the cheese. Portion was perfect. My friend had the eggplant panini sandwich & had to bring half home due to the size. There was seating for about 36 people & looked like 2 wait staff. The service was great. This is a casual place. When we went at about 7PM on a Saturday, it was a mix of couples, friends & families.More

A variety of food that we all enjoyed. My husband had a calamari appetizer and said it was the best he's had. I had a pulled pork sandwich (excellent) and others had fish. We all enjoyed the meal. Get there early since it gets very...crowded. A lot of activity, which worked out well since we had an 8 month old with us.More

Finally had a chance to try this quaint little restaurant. I loved that the menu had some neat options and food was fantastic. This is a casual, chill spot - service is friendly and fun, but if you are high maintenance this isn't the spot...for you. It is the perfect neighborhood bistro - they let us hang out and eat, never felt rushed, and again, the food was delicious. Hadn't been to a BYOB in while and forgot how fun it is. Will definitely be back.More

5 star plus dining experience. This place how to perfectly season and cook their dinners! My friend and I started off by sharing a crisp Caesar salad. It was very large and fed both of us easily. The two of us both craved the flat...iron steak and we weren't disappointed. Succulent is the word that comes to mind. Topped with just the right amount of caramelized onions and Gorgonzola, you can tell they use high quality cuts and ingredients. The sides of red roasted potatoes and green beans were yummy. Dessert was peaches and cream and bananas Mondale. We were quite full and very satisfied when we left. This is fine dining for the taste buds. Remember folks- avoid chains and come to places like this.More
