Friends who live in New Hope recommended this hidden gem. It is tucked away in a strip mall, away from the touristy area. Small with an eclectic, colorful decor. There is also an outside dining area, but it was very hot the day we visited so we sat inside. The iced tea was freshly brewed and served with both a lemon slice and a mint sprig. We ordered lobster bisque, which was made from scratch with lots of lobster meat and a small slice of French bread. My husband had ham and cheese on a croissant and I had sautéed chicken on the outstanding French bread. The side was a delicious & light potato salad. Portions are on the smaller side, as they would be in France, which was perfect for our older appetites. Carla started the cafe more than 35 years ago, and it is easy to see why they are still thriving. Her husband, Lino, joined the team as server and dishwasher when he retired about 10 years ago. Very friendly folks and delicious, homemade food.

My first visit with a friend who's been there before. Excellent omelets with farm fresh eggs, an asparagus spear on a luscious side salad, great tea selection and a waiter doing stand-up comedy. What more could one want?

I was told about this place for years and finally visited last month. I have now been back several times and hope it make it a regular place. It's head and shoulders better than most places for breakfast and lunch in this entire area. Sitting outside has been a delight. The pancakes, soups and omelettes have all been tasty.

Amazing food in an amazing setting!
We sat on the patio, surrounded by herbs, grasses and flowers, under an umbrella with the wind lightly blowing.
The food was impeccable - from the coffee, and French bread to the quiches, sandwiches, salads, then to the best key lime pie ever!

What a fun place to have breakfast or lunch while in Bucks County! A family owned/run business with a big local following and wonderful food for all tastes and diets. Homey atmosphere, lots of paintings on the walls. A little tricky to find as it's tucked away in an old fashioned shopping plaza but don't give up! It's worth it.

I have eaten lunch here a couple of times. Fresh wholesome ingredients prepared by someone who cares about making good food. They always have seasonal pancakes which are fluffy and for the most part don’t need the syrup. Pumpkin pancakes are in season now and they are so delicious. Homemade soups every day. Just a small little place on the side of Giant shopping center worth visiting. Lunch is pretty busy so I go a little after lunch hour rush. Can’t wait to go back!

Roast beef sandwich Is what I ordered when I was told I had to have more meat. I’ve been a vegetarian for 30-40 years But as you age you need to eat more protein So I popped in and ordered the roast beef sandwich
It reminded me of all the sandwiches they were made for me when I was a child this place is A darling enterprise of a woman.

The eggs benedict here is made the way it's supposed to be made. Freshest ingredients, delicately flavored ham, perfect hollandaise, crispy muffin beneath to cradle it all. Sublime.

Back behind a small shopping center, we had a delicious family brunch, including special peach pancakes and bottomless cups of coffee. Lovely outdoor area as well. We would definitely go back.

My Mum told me about Duck Soup a while ago and she's been trying to get me there ever since. We finally went this morning as a birthday gift...and truly one of my best this year! From the owners' warm greetings to the charming, comfortable ambiance, this place is truly a hidden treasure. It's the kind of place I'd expect to find on vacation in Martha's Vineyard, but it's right there in a nondescript strip mall outside of New Hope. We were truly impressed by how the owners have been able to create such a cozy little haven, both inside and out, in the middle of a large suburban shopping center...their attention to the smallest of details is immediately evident. We sat outside and watched bumble bees and butterflies enjoy the beautiful gardens as much as we did. The food was truly outstanding...both the presentation and the recipes were well-thought out, original, and quite satisfying. We can't wait to return and explore the lunch menu. Actually, we might have just stayed until lunch started, but the breakfast portions were generous enough that it wasn't an option :-)
I've driven past this place many times and had absolutely no idea what I was missing.

Cute pace hidden in Logan Square. Food is good. Service is sloppy but it didn't bother me. Nice place to hand out with girlfriends.

We had a tasty meal in this pretty restaurant. The service was friendly and efficient. The desserts looked homemade and we will try them on our next visit.

Food is great, add the chef, husband and staff and you have a winner. I may regret this, as will impede my finding a table.

Very small place with homemade type food. The sandwiches we had were tasty, but not much substance to them at all. Not even sure there was a piece of chicken on one half of my sandwich. And for the price paid I can’t say that it’s a good value. $11 for a breakfast burrito, really?
