Opens for Sunday brunch offered 10:30am - 2:30pm. Served buffet style, with additiinal omlette, breakfast taco and eggs benedict options made fresh from the kitchen. A tad pricey, at $40 and includes no coffee, tea or juice. Additiinal $4 for coffee.and tea. Most brunch cocktails run $12. Raw bar included shrimp, stone crab claws and oysters on the half shell, each served as one piece in an individual little server. So if you want more than one piece, you have to take several little servers. Only one carving station with beef, and no one was at the starion to actually carve anything. Had to do it yourself. No other meats except breakfast sausages and bacon. There was also small pieces of French toast and waffles. Bagels and bread kind of ordinary. Several options that were included from the kitchen. Omlettes, breakfast tacos and 3 eggs Benedict options. Ordered the salmon benedict and Canadian bacon/creamed spinach options. Both were very good, served on thinner, crispy english muffins, and perfectly poached eggs. Our reservariin was for 12:30 and when we arrived there was a beautiful FULL dessert bar with several fruit tarts and many other offerings, which we were looking forward to sampling. As we finished with the meal portion at 1:30, we went for our desserts and were VERY dissappointed to find that at 1:30, they were out of SIX desserts including those fruit tarts. I inquired if they would be replenishing the desserts and was told no, they were out of whatever was not there. EXCUSE ME, but if the brunch runs until 2:30 and at the price we paid, there should have been adequate food and desserts to feed the diners. We love brunch but probably would not recommend this brunch.

Exciting, inventive new dining and overnight inn on the river. Put some cloth on the tables, maybe rugs on the floors and tapestry on walls to help noise control; and swing some deal with the Playhouse to reduce onerous $20 parking fee. Food offerings are ingenius, extra tasty and as scenic as the rest of the whole experience. We'll be back!

First let me say the food was good, we just needed more of it. The prices were pretentious. The appetizers were pretty good, but needed salt. They charge $12 for a basket of bread. The entrees were small. My husband ordered the manicotti and got one, for $22. I ordered the salmon and had 3 slivers for $32. There was no option to order additional sides. The saving grace was the desserts. Bread pudding was fantastic. The staff was very friendly and our waitress was very attentive . She made great drink recommendations. We don't mind spending good money for good food but the portions were comical. If the idea is small plates then make them, $15-$18 like other restaurants in the area. Don't charge me $32 for a slice of fish.

This restaurant bills itself as a celebrity chef small plate restaurant with panoramic views of the Delaware River. What it doesn’t mention is the fact that it’s set up as a bar with big screen TVs in view from all the seats in the place if you’re inside and not out on the deck. And the bar stools are really CLOSE to the first row of tables, so close in fact that I totally thought that someone behind me was talking almost in my ear when in reality he was speaking to someone next to him at the bar. The service was mediocre — our server wasn’t too concerned when he opened at bottle of sparkling wine and it gushed onto him and the table. Even though there was room to walk around the table, he insisted on pouring water across people. And one of the other sparkling wine choices was triple the liquor store price. Our appetizers and main courses were actually really delicious, so we were looking forward to a white chocolate cheesecake mousse. Unfortunately, it tasted terrible — like uncooked cheesecake with a really odd cherry sauce with whole blueberries. Didn’t taste any white chocolate...

We have visited many Jose Garces locations and overall very satisfied. Stella is in a great location, the decor is beautiful and provides outdoor seating with a fantastic view of the river. My wife and I had a early weekday reservation on a lovely summer day. As we entered the mostly empty parking lot we discovered it was reserved for valet parking at $20. We found nearby street parking for $3. We were seated in the bar area, however, it was a beautiful day and the outdoor deck area had just a few patrons. We asked the host if we could relocate to the deck. He quickly refused the request stating our reservation was for the bar area. Our server was excellent, she was very helpful and attentive. Our meal was a let down, well presented but just average with small portions given the cost. On our way out we noticed the deck was still basically unoccupied and the host ignored us as we passed him.

I had really high hopes for this place. I've been a fan of Chef Garces for several years and I have had a number of fabulous dining experiences at some of his other, albeit now-closed (bummer) restaurants in Philly. Alas, it was a bit of a letdown.
I dined here with some family members last weekend for brunch. The place was quite busy but the hostess really did a great job of handling the almost constant line of people coming in both with and without reservations. Also, I will commend the hostess team for gently reminding guests that masks were needed when not seated.
Our party was seated promptly at a table that was under cover but still open to the outside and our great server greeted us promptly and took our beverage orders. I opted for the Stella Spritz which, for me, was the highlight of the meal. I decided to order the Huevos Rancheros burrito, without chorizo. Others in my group ordered various types of Eggs Benedict and a few others ordered the burger.
Our food arrived pretty quickly but I was really disappointed in the burrito. First, it had ZERO flavor. Salt and pepper are MUSTS when cooking eggs. Also, the cheddar cheese didn't even melt and it looked like it was straight out of a package of pre-shredded cheddar that you can buy for 2 bucks at any grocery store. The 'salsa' lacked any real flavor or punch and it was more akin to salad than pico de gallo or corn-tomato salsa. Funny though, one member of our party asked to swap fries for 'salad' and the server said that the restaurant doesn't serve salad. Hmm...sure looked like salad to us!
Also, the burrito was supposed to have black beans inside. Couldn't find them at all. The other members of my group seemed to enjoy their food, though we really didn't discuss it in depth. I will send things back if I'm dining in a smaller group but in this case, I just ate the mediocre, lukewarm food. I hate to say it, but the breakfast burrito you can get for under $5 at any Wawa has more flavor!
There's also some fuzziness about the depth of involvement of Chef Garces. If he IS still involved, it would be a good idea for him to check in once in a while. if he is not, then take his name off and move on. Sure there's a pandemic but you CAN work and practice safety and social distancing.
I will say that the restaurant seems to have safety and social distancing well under control and again, the hostess did a great job explaining the rules for dining/drinking in Pa. Our server, I believe his name was Kevin, was super nice and has a great personality! The location along the river is lovely and we did have a nice time. That said, I was very disappointed in my meal and I will not be back.

The menu is inspired by Iron Chef, Jose Garces. Restaurant is Local farm to table sourced, so everything is incredibly fresh. Chef Garces background lends itself to recipes using a variety of peppers, so read the menu carefully if you have issues with a little heat. The setting is beautiful on the Delaware River. All tables are properly distanced to meet PA Covid protocol. We felt very safe there. Our Wait person was one of the most knowledgeable about the menu, as well as, wine and beer selections. Get the bread basket, so worth it. A variety, all baked fresh daily, and served with several spreadables. We chose ro split the Parisian Gnocchi as an appetizer. Plenty for 2 to share. Followed by the Peking Duck and Day Boat Scallop entrees. I have read reviews stating the portions were small. Actually, the portions are perfect, as Americans tend to overeat. And yes, dinner can be a bit pricey, but that is the cost of quality.

Went there for Sunday Brunch and was very happy. Yes the crab claws and shrimp were in individual cups but I just put several cups on my plate and the shrimp was already peeled. The prime rib was very good and they had a real nice variety of food to put together your own charcuterie plate. I must agree your juice and coffee should be included in the cost of the brunch. They had a real nice Bloody Mary Bar and Bellini Bar for 12.00 each. Included in the brunch are 3 kinds of breakfast tacos, and eggs B and two kinds of omelets that you order hot from the kitchen. Their bagels were outstanding and they had smoked salmon, capers, onio and tomatoes to go with the bagels if you wanted. Our dessert choices were great. My husband loved their chocolate brownie and I loved their fruit tart. . We were happy and full when we left.

Just finished New Years eve prix fixe dinner at Stella. I have never taken the time to write a review, as I have never been so disappointed. Came home starving after my husband and I spent 300.00+ on dinner. My husband's steak was substantial, but cost 15.00 above the 90.00 charged for the dinner. My Pekin duck was an absolute joke. Even the waitress was embarrassed by it, as we had a discussion about it. No offer to right the situation even though it seems even the manager was aware and had commented on it. 3 slices of Duck the size of a silver dollar and about 1/4 cup of whatever came on the plate with it. If Stella plans to compete in New Hope, they better change their game. I don't care if it's a "Jose Garca" restaurant. It really won't be able to coast on a name for long with such substandard servings. Would love to have our money back on this one.

My wife made reservations for our anniversary. They gave us a great table at the window overlooking the River. Our server surprised us with two glasses of champagne - a very nice touch. Dinner was quite good (scallops and pork chop) - although they don't allow ala carte sides. The chef decides what comes with the entree and if you want something else, too bad.
The strange part came when our server brought the bill - they charged us for the champagne toast. We paid rather than making a fuss.

I wanted to believe the hype but for me it was a miss. The heirloom tomato salad and baby carrot salad had a lot going on. Sometimes less is more and a simpler preparation enables the main ingredient to take center stage.
As Italians we probably shouldn't have ordered the spaghetti pie or the casarecce because both disappointed. The latter was completely overcooked and a bowl of mush, not the way any pasta should ever be prepared or presented. For the spaghetti pie they use angel hair
instead of a thicker pasta which wound up being very overdone and kind of tasteless, great idea but please google Eleanoras spaghetti pie, now that's a true spaghetti pie!!
The worst part of the meal was a pork chop that was ordered medium but came out raw. The super nice Mgr tried to say it was cooked to temperature as a reassurance that we wouldn't get sick but it was RAW.
We waited over an hour for our main courses to arrive, service was dreadfully slow and once the Sun goes down that deck gets buggy.
On a positive note the salmon and Parisian gnocchi were really good.
Plus there's a menu they'll cook to order for your doggie.
They comped an appetizer and two desserts to compensate for dreadfully slow service and the raw pork chop which was the best way to handle the situation and is appreciated but especially these days when people go out to dinner they are looking for a relaxing experience where the service and price point measure up. Maybe it was an off night but I won't be returning because it turned out to be the complete opposite of what we expected and mostly everything we had we could've prepared better at home.

The service was awesome but the food wasn't filling. Their menu was only featuring seafood with 2 other options. The Maryland Crab app was awful (visiting from MD) with a nasty aftertaste.
Watch your wine intake.. $88 for 4 glasses of wine (we aren't in LA)..
Parking was an additional $10 after driving around for 20 minutes.
Yes.. Beautiful background but I had to go out and get another meal.. $190 for 2 people, go some where that will make you full and happy and less in the pocket.. Don't get wine or apps..

This place is opposite the Bucks County playhouse and has a beautiful upstairs deck overlooking the river. The inside is gorgeous too. They have valet service and lots of parking too. We went there on a Friday evening around 5pm, without a reservation and we were seated on the outside deck. Food was good. I had the scallops and my bride had the pork chop. Excellent food and service.

We decided to spent the weekend with friends in New Hope, PA to celebrate one of my friend’s bday. Because she has a emotional support dog we are very conscious of where we are going and usually call in advance just to make sure the places are pet friendly.
Well, Stella was named after the owners dog who’s a pit💙🐶. We couldn’t be happier. The place is beautiful a use the outdoor view very well and the river that divided PA and Jersey is right there. The atmosphere is elegant but relax.
Abby our waitress was amazing and spot on with all her suggestions. We ordered egg Benedict’s with roll pork and another one with salmon. We also ordered the eggs rancheros and the pancakes that were delicious. The dessert couldn’t be perfect mouse of cheesecake 😋perfection on a dish.
This place can easily hold few events at the same time because it has like 3 levels. Don’t worry about wheelchair access or bad knees, they got everyone’s cover with a great elevator.
The staff is just amazing, the view is great and the food delicious. Oh yeah ! We are going back soon.
So if you are in New Hope, PA this is “ the place” to enjoy food and to relax with a great view.
