Great atmosphere and service. Steaks are pricey but properly cooked and seasoned. The king cut of prime rib was HUGE. That’s a couple of meals worth. Recommended if you are in the area and want a nice meal.

I have been to Louies several times over the years and it never disappoints. It’s your standard steakhouse menu, comparable to the national chains (Capital Grill, Ruth’s Chris, etc) in offerings and price. The space is small and intimate. On a recent visit I had...the prime rib (I thing only available on weekends) and it was perfectly seasoned and extremely tender. One of my favorites is the jumbo lump crab appetizer. It’s a large portion and at about $17+/- a bargain in my book. If you’re not overly hungry pair it with a salad for a meal. Great spot for a special meal.More
Excellent food. Service great. Steaks are prime, sides are excellent. Wine list nice. Yes, pricey but you get what you pay for. Owner stopped by table - class. All COVID rules followed. Nice outside dining.
We were vacationing and stopped by for dinner. We have been to expensive steakhouses before, so we knew the prices were going to be higher then we normally pay. The meals are not meals. It is all ala carte. The 8oz Filet Mignon was $48...and included nothing. Just a piece of meat. The waitress asked if our friend wanted onions and mushrooms on it and he said sure. They charged $7 for mushrooms and onions! Most places you get a salad or some kind of side with your meal. Everything here is extra. The waitress was nice and friendly, the food was good. Not spectacular for the price, but good. The place was rustic with the feel that they were trying to dress it up with linen tablecloths and napkins.More
Such an amazing dinner with excellent service. Went with my two kids who are 5 and 8 and the waitress was amazing very attentive to them. My husband and I also received excellent service and our food was amazing. Would go back in a second....Also cocktails were amazing.More
The food was delicious and well presented. We ordered the tuna poke appetizer, then the chilean sea bass and filet mignon with crab cake. Desert was amazing as well: creme brûlée and peanut butter cake. Everything was wonderful and waitress was delightful.
We were staying a few nights in Albrightsville celebrating my daughters graduation. She found Louie's on the internet. What a great find. Everything our group had was delicious! I have never had steamed clams that good. We were going to go back the next nigh...for more but they were closed that day. Will make sure we go back there again when in the area.More
Have visited this restaurant a few times while visiting the Poconos. The service is always spot on!!! There are several people serving your table, one nicer than the other. The food is mouth watering. Be sure to book a reservation as we failed to do...this once & could not get in!More
I was here in January with my boyfriend and two other couples and we had a great experience! The filet was cooked perfectly and the bernaise sauce was delicious. Everyone else got lobster tail and it was also some of the best I ever tasted....The cherry on top was the perfectly mixed dirty martini with gorgonzola stuffed olives..yum!! Can't wait to visit again. One thing to note is the menu online is different than the one they had at the restaurant so don't get your heart set on anything online-- we were looking forward to the truffle risotto which they didn't have anymore, thankfully everything we got instead was delish!More
After reading reviews on this site and others, I decided this was the spot for our romantic dinner over our short anniversary/Christmas vacation. I was not disappointed. I called to reserve a table and was well served by Dana. She guided me to the table...that would provide the most intimate dinner, even though it was in the bar area. She assured me it would be worth it She was right. Dinner was flawless, with orders perfectly executed and service attentive but unobtrusive. Dana was not our server but stopped by to introduce herself. As an aside, I gave the wonderful woman who greeted us, who's name I don't recall, a gift for my wife to be brought out with dessert Perfectly executed. We will be back, even if we have to make a special trip. Thank you so much for making our time with you such a great one. Memories to share.More
