We did happy hour here with friends. We had drinks and the cauliflower hot wings. They were very good and spicy but not too hot. We wisely chose to drink inside since a sudden rain shower drenched the patio. Service was good and timely.
Luckily, we made reservations a week ahead. We were a party of 8 for a 4pm meal. Max our server was patient and attentive. Thank you Max!
We enjoyed: grilled pear ham and arugula pizza, smoked brisket pizza, country Cobb salad, brewers grain bowl, cheeseburger...and pulled pork sandwich. The beers were enjoyed by all. The chef made some adjustments to accommodate a friend who is vegan and gluten free. How nice! Sadly not many of artists’ studios were open, but we did some buying! Then we spent 2+ hours in the rooftop Biergarten. Clearly the drink favorite was the Solstice. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.More
Whoa! Way overpriced!
$16 for Eggs Benedict!
What you are getting here is basic blah food that is way overpriced. 3 people and my bill was over $100!!! Only 1 beer for 1 person; the rest was just average food. Its the trendy place for...white people to go to what was once the hood but is slowly changing, although I bet you $200, you won’t see any of the patrons that were there today on a Saturday afternoon taking a stroll down same street tonight! Lol! I would say the only worthwhile thing about this place is that there are small stores for artists to vend their creativity. If you think the food was expensive, wait until you see the artwork that literally is done by 6th graders selling for $150! And its NOT that good. My oh my, new world order is not cool.More
Started off with an Urban Picnic charcuterie board accompanied by a flight of beer. Meats and cheeses were flavorful, and the pickled fruits and veggies were so complimentary. The beers went down smoothly too!
I wrapped up with the fried catfish hoagie and chickpea salad....The hoagie was the size of my HEAD, and I took leftovers home, of course. The catfish was perfectly fried and the mustard remoulade was just perfect.
My boyfriend got the scallops and grits (didn’t grab a photo) but he gushed about them ALL afternoon.
With locally sourced ingredients, there truly isn’t a bad choice here. 10/10 would recommend to a friend!More
The Millworks had a nice variety of beer styles. The menu looked good, we didn't eat there though but will in the future. There's a nice deck on the roof which we will enjoy once the weather gets warmer. They allow you to take your...beer throughout the building to see some of the artwork and talk to artists. It was a nice experience.More
One can always count on the Millworks to provide top quality, well prepared and well presented food and drinks. While my wife and I are not "regulars" we do make it a point to visit a few times per year although it is a 45...minute drive from our home. Food is creative and delicious, service is always timely and friendly. The restaurant can be loud depending on how busy and how many children are dinning.More
