First time visiting Harrisburg and made reservations based upon TripAdvisor reviews. Not disappointed at all! Authentic Italian food and outstanding service. So good, we went, again, the very next night. Would have gone for a third night in a row, but had to cancel the...reservation due to an unforeseen conflict. Highly recommend!More

I saw that the restaurant was highly rated on TripAdvisor and tried it out. My table was outside at the front. It was noisy because of the passing traffic. I would recommend an outside table on the side of the building to have some of...the road noise blocked off. My server Heidi was gracious. I enjoyed her service. She let me enjoy my meal in leisure. I had the Smoked Fashion which was a very good cocktail. My meal consisted of a Caesar Salad and the Flounder Francesca. The fish was light, flaky, and flavorful. My dessert was the Coppa Spagnola. Cars streamed in the entire time I was there. This is clearly a popular spot for a Sunday meal.More

My bride to be and I were on a road trip from Baltimore to Seneca Lake, NY and we love good Italian food. Gabriellas was such a great find! We were in Vegas last week and went to Cipriani and Giada and I would put...the food and service here up against any top Italian restaurant anywhere! The veal scallopini, the arancini appetizers, wine selection....amazing! Wonderful, friendly staff and the cute patio outside was all we needed. Thank you!More

Never a bad meal, and the staff is always on top of their game. Greatly miss hanging at the small bar before meals. Not just a top Italian restaurant, but easily in the top 10 in Central PA across the board.

We stop every year on our way back to Upstate NY from Florida. Literally go out of our way just to stop at Gabriella's. Have done so for the past seven years. Apparently we are not the only ones for as you enter the parking...lot you will see cars from NJ, Conn, Mass. Food is beyond excellent , and owners and staff are very sincere and cordial . Reservations are highly recommended. We like to seat in the bar area and even at the bar. Our favorite meal is one of the veals. Have not had a bad meal in 7 years. I question the bad reviews, as it is a common practice for competing restaurants to post false narratives. We love the place and look forward to stopping every yearMore

One of my favorite restaurants in Harrisburg. My friends and I wanted a nice Italian meal to celebrate a birthday. It exceeded our expectations. The pork chops were cooked perfectly! We will definitely be back whenever we’re in the area. The staff was very attentive...and everything came out perfect. Thank you Gabriellas!More

Let me first say that the food is generally good however this restaurant has major service and management issues. On October 18th, we had a party of four. Three in the group ordered pasta dishes, two being identical. One person ordered the NY Strip Steak...dinner. Two of us ordered salads, one was requested without cucumbers and tomatoes and the other without tomatoes. Another person asked if they could substitute the soup of the day for the salad. The server, Mario, said there would be an upcharge. No problem. When the salads came (with an appetizer that we had ordered), both had cucumbers and one didn't have onions. Where the server lost the onions and the instructions on the cucumbers, no one knows. About 10 minutes after we had finished our salads we had to ask him about the soup. Miraculously it showed up within a minute of Mario going into the kitchen. When the food was served the two identical dishes were perfect. The third pasta dish was supposed to have the same sauce as the other two however there was about 50% less sauce and lacked taste. He even tasted the sauce on one of the other dishes and it wasn't the same. The steak was cooked properly however it was lukewarm like it was either prepared a bit before the pasta or Mario stalled the delivery of the dishes due to the delay of the soup. When we finished our entrees, Mario packed up the leftovers while running through the desserts. Due to his thick accent, the mask being worn and his fast speaking cadence, we couldn't understand most of the descriptions of the desserts, so we opted to not order any. In all honesty, Mario should focus more on getting the orders correct and speaking slower rather than trying to sell the menu. When the bill arrived we were charged the full price for the soup. I sent an email to the restaurant to question how much the upcharge should be for the soup and the person responding stated "salads are free" and there are no substitutions. I responded that the salads, like the bread, is factored into the price and that Mario needs educated on proper techniques and policies. They also said that the order of food delivery is normally the soup first, then salad and appetizer, etc., unless requested otherwise. Since we didn't request the soup to be later, again Mario screwed up. Also the owner said that all entrees include the "free" salad however the menu (online and in person) doesn't list the chicken and veal dishes including the salad. The owner didn't seem to care. Sadly when you spend this much on a meal, you expect a superior dining experience. Not the case.More
