Have been to Erie twice so far this year and kept hearing rates about this place. One of our party called the day before to insure they were open, we headed down and - no signs, not open! Nothing on their web site. Later, found...some workers hadn't shown up. I understand the problems getting people back to work, I really do. I understand restaurant workers can be unreliable. What I don't understand are businesses who don't attempt to warn customers of unforeseen problems. This isn't the first such incidence according to the locals I mentioned this to. The owner/manager doesn't have access to the web site when problems arise? Can't put a sign on the door? Unacceptable,More

Went here with friends while visiting Erie for the weekend. I got the sampler of 2 bones, smoked wing, brisket slider and pulled pork slider. All were great - even the smoked wing which I'm usually not a fan of. Brisket is always my test...of a BBQ joint, and ThreeBs didn't disappoint. Remember - they only take cash. Great beer selection on tap. Next visit I might try a rack of the ribs - the two bones in the sampler were just a tease.More

Hubs and I tried this based on a recommendation. It was ok. Not bad, but far from the best BBQ I've had. I ordered the burnt ends, which were very fatty. Also had broccoli and onion cornbread and mac n cheese. Cornbread was a tad...dry, but decent flavor. Mac n cheese was delicious. The man who served us at the counter was I believe the owner. He was friendly, but at the same time almost snobby. Hubs and I both wanted sauce, but didn't ask (and weren't offered any) as we were afraid we would offend him by asking for any. Hubs had a sample plate, and I felt his was better than mine. He would for sure go back, I'm not sure if I would. You don't pay until AFTER you have eaten, and then are told they don't take CC, but they have an ATM. This is poor business in my opinion. It is his right to only take cash, but there should be a sign, as we probably wouldn't have stayed. But like I said, you don't pay (even though you order at the counter like a fast-food place) until the end of your meal. By then, it is too late. It is a very sketchy neighborhood, but we never let that stop us. Some of the best places are off the beaten path.More

Everything we had was over the top - DELICIOUS! Started with the amazing Bloody Mary's of course. Best ever! Then onto Smoked Potato Boats while the rest of our taste bud tantalizing food was getting ready - each made to custom order. Broccoli slaw, ribs,...2 different corn bread, burnt ends (buttery bits of melt in your mouth beef brisket) and mac-n-cheese. Almost had to roll us out AND we took leftovers home. A must stop at in Erie. Forget the trip for Chick-fil-A mass produced chain food yuk - this is REAL food made from scratch with lots of know how and a genuine flair for BBQ.More

The appetizer is bacon. The cornbread is awesome. The ribs are the best in town. The have craft beer on tap and a friendly staff. A little hard to find, but worth the trouble.

Ribs were the best I've had in Erie. Not a fan of cornbread, but ordered it anyway because it was made to order, and it was incredible. My girlfriend got the mac and cheese and it was also exceptional. Cant wait to go back!

We started coming here many years ago. In the beginning it was fantastic. Then we hit a period when the ribs were very disappointing. We decided to come back today and I am so glad we did! My husband had the brisket (1/2 lb) with...the onion cheese. He love it and wished he had ordered the 3/4 lb. I had the ribs. They were moist and tender, delicious! We both had the baked beans served in small cast iron skillets with a slice of pineapple. Yum. We shared a side of broccoli salad which we liked also. We both enjoyed a local craft brew (ontap) and I am so glad we came back!More

This was our 3rd visit to 3B and we look forward to going again. They do bbq the right way. From their brisket to the tender rids, everything was spot on. Their sauce is tasty, the sides are yummy and the service is friendly. They...also have a good assortment of beer and full bar offerings. We lived in the south for several years and have had the real deal - go to 3B - you won't be disappointed.More
