You can find this restaurant at the Carousel Mall. Once again in the same day, I find a restaurant where only one person seems to be running the floor. She did a great job and she came around more often. I ordered the seafood chow...mein with shrimp, scallops, calamari, and imitation crab. Lots of vegetables and I think the calamari won with what seafood was in there the most. It turned out OK. Not a lot of Chinese or Asian options in Seaside, but New Garden is not a bad one.More

Didn't eat our $18 plate of beef chow mein cuz if lack of flavor and the spaghetti was weird. But the server was great and our combo plates were good. Located net to the carousel on the boardwalk. Food was served fast.

From inside the pet-friendly Seaside Carousel Mall, the kind New Garden staff helped us choose two bento boxes to carry out. The vegetarian adult chose B4 and the carnivorous kiddo chose B3, but substituted orange chicken instead of sweet and sour. Dinner for two in the restaurant. We enjoyed their spicy green beans and their pork with black mushrooms and vegetables. Both excellent and inexpensive. Your dish comes with soup, a fried roll, and wontons. Plenty of food for taking some home. Great service. Nice people....Seaside seems to have a lot of tourist type places, but these folks are great.More

We saw this inside the carousel mall so we went for dinner and we were not disappointed. We all got bento boxes and it was great. They give you a lot of food for $15 I had a sushi roll, fried rice , teriyaki chicken,...potstickers and soup. The chicken was so flavorful and everything was fresh. I got 2 meals out of it. The hot and sour soup wasn’t my favorite it was really thick and the taste was off it almost tasted like bbq sauce. The shrimp and crab Rangoon appetizer was really tasty. I would definitely come back here.More

I came here based on the reviews. I got the Bento box chicken teriyaki. There was something off with the taste. There was waaayyyyy too much sauce on the teriyaki and sushi roll. The teriyaki chicken had a very odd texture. Not the teriyaki you...would get at a normal teriyaki house. I wouldn't recommend this entree.More

I have been eating here for a few years now. The food is the best to be had in a fifty mile radius. The people who run the restaurant are really wonderful people, too. Every dish I have tried has been good. I have not...tried the Bento Boxes so that is on the list. I live in Astoria but drive to Seaside when I want Chinese food. In short, if you want good Chinese food in a good atmosphere with good service, this is where you want to go.More

Who knew? Hiding behind the Carousel on Broadway you'll find the best Asian cuisine in the area. Give the New Garden a visit, you'll be glad you did.

Had to go food from here as the restaurant wasn't open. But they had our order ready quickly and bid servings. We loved that the sesame chicken didn't have the sauce on it already (you add it as you eat it) so no soggy chicken!

We are staying in Seaside for about 6 months and found this place when we first arrived. It is excellent! We have eaten here just about every 2 weeks since we arrived and have had many different dishes and they are all excellent. Prices are...good, good portions, meals are hot and ready when they say they will be, friendly owners. We definitely recommend this place!More

We ordered take out food that we then took back to our condo for dinner while staying in Seaside. We like to have both a chicken and a pork dish to share along with egg rolls, and everything we ordered had excellent flavor! I usually...like Thai food better than Chinese, but if I lived in Seaside, I think I would have to change my mind as I would be eating here a whole lot!!More
