Nonni's is currently not seating people in the dining room, but they are doing take out orders. I was staying in Gearhart and decided to try a new place. I picked Nonni's becasue they had good reviews and everything in the pictures looked absolutely delicious. I called in an order of the Spaghetti Carbonara and garlic cheese bread! OMG!!!! The portions of both were great size for the cost and hot, fresh and delicious. It was packaged in a nice durable to go container, individually wrapped silverware, marinara sauce, salt, pepper and parmesan cheese. It was bagged up and ready within 20 mins. I had enough to enjoy and amazing dinner and lunch the next day. It was even good the next day. I am definitely going to go back again and again!!!

Thought we would go early to miss the rush (5pm), but so did a lot of other folks. We waited a half hour to 40 minutes in back. We were able to sit while we waited. It gave us the opportunity to see what people were ordering. The bread and olive oil was good. My wife enjoyed the butter more than the oil, we had olive selection as appetizer which was delightful. Enjoyed the wine. We were able to get individual servings so we could have different wines. This worked for us because I found I enjoyed my wife’s choice better than my own. My second glass was her selection. The entrees were very enjoyable and the berry dessert was a great finish for our meal. A great place. We will come back when we visit Seaside.

We had a very nice meal last night here with no wait. Caprese Tower and the Chicken Picatta were excellent. The chicken dish was brought out without the sauce but the server quickly brought it out to our table and put it on the chicken. One of our favorite places to dine in Seaside! 😎

To begin with, the seating process was never really explained. Told that they didn't take reservations and that it was just walk in, we showed up at about 6pm on a Sunday night and were that there would be at least an hour's wait. No reservation were allowed, but at this point your name is put on a wait list. Around 7:30 or so, we were finally seated and waited about 45 minutes for our food to arrive. And that, even with their seating at 25% capacity! Once the food arrived, my husband's pasta was quite undercooked (we are used to al dente, but undercooked is something else entirely). My gluten free pasta (which cost $2 more, by the way) was quite overcooked, over-garlicked, and swimming in oil. The vegetables (that were also an extra charge) were quite disappointing - not the freshest, and very bland. The only good thing was, my husband enjoyed his glass of Italian Big Red wine. We won't be back....

We put our name on the list for dinner just before 6pm on a Friday night, and were told by the hostess that it would be about 30 minutes. AN HOUR AND A HALF LATER we were finally seated. A simple algorithm based on average table times for their patrons would have solved this problem. The hostess was also clearing tables, wiping down chairs and taking to-go orders. At one point, a couple who had been waiting 45 minutes were told they couldn't be seated AT ALL because the kitchen was overwhelmed with to-go orders. Management, take note of the customer impressions here and clean up your act. Once we got in, food and service were fine.

Ordered take- out due to CoV (though limited in cafe dining permitted now). Appeared to be a charming little classic Italian cafe to dine in. We were thrilled that warm bread, antipasto, vinegar and oil plus extra marinara was included with our order of Caesar salads, spaghetti and meatballs and meatball sandwich. Very generous portions will keep us fed for at least two more meals. Friendly and attentive staff. Great find!!

We dined here a couple of times this month while in Seaside. A favorite of ours is the lasagna which we share. The Caprese Tower is another favorite as an appetizer. I enjoy the Razzleberry cocktail with dinner. There is always a wait, especially in the summer so we go and put our name in and have them call us when our table is ready. This is one of Seaside's most popular restaurants so if you want a minimal wait, try to go early around 4:30 or 5:00. :)

I wrote a review of this restaurant 3 years ago and nothing has changed. The spicy sausage and bean soup is still fabulous. My wife go the chcken piccata and it was wonderful.. My fettucine alfredo was superb. The wine was just right, the bread tasted of Italy itself. We lived in Naples for 3 years so we have the background to say that Nonni's is truly Italian and the food is authentic and leaves a smile on your face. Maria was our server and she was a joy. They don't take reservations but there is a pub on either side of it where you can wait for them to text you that you can be seated.

This is a very charming restaurant with nice extras. For example you’ll get wonderful bread and a dish with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Your entrees are very generous and at the end of your meal you’ll get a complimentary Amaretto! My husbands lasagna was wonderful. My only issue was their red spaghetti sauce. It was just okay. The sauce was also too thin. I would absolutely go back but I would not order the spaghetti and meatballs.

Visited the busy tourist mecca of Seaside in early Oct. . .Nonnis is right in the middle of the main street within walking distance of the large condo units located at the beach. The service was great, prompt, friendly and efficent. The menu had a good range of items that included seafood as well as other entrees with beef, chicken and pasta entrees. My brother had baked chicken with a sauce as well as clam chowder for a starter. He thought the clam chowder was excellent and enjoyed his entree as well. I ordered a seafood pasta dish and it was tasty with a crisp fresh salad and house dressing. I would return to Nonnis. I didnt give it a 5 because the interior is rather dated and could use a upgrade.

We visited this delightful Restaurant based on it being the number 1 Dinner Restaurant in Seaside! We LOVED it. Fabulous food, excellent service, great ambiance! We enjoyed it so much we came back a second night. We loved the Lasagna, Salmon Risotto, Fire Roasted Artichoke Beef Medallions with Mushroom Marsala Sauce, Chicken Piccata and the desserts, especially the Berry Pannacotta! We will definitely be back!

Traveled from Seattle to Seaside for a weekend at the beach. Eating at Nonni’s was at the top of my “to do“ list. Knowing that they tend to be busy and do not take reservations, I waited until 8 PM on a Sunday, only to be turned away by a rude and extremely stressed hostess who told me that they were “jammed” and stopped adding names to their list at 6:45 pm. Obviously if I had known this I would not have bothered. I ended up walking down the street a bit and had a wonderful seafood fettuccine in a serene atmosphere at Twisted Fish. I would advise you do the same. Stay away from Nonni’s. Horrible horrible way to run a restaurant. If people have a low to zero probability of getting in, they should know this ahead of time so they can make other plans. This restaurant obviously needs to start taking reservations. Until then, I will not try them again.

Not sure how this restaurant is rated so highly. We had a terrible experience here last night. My family of 3 stopped for dinner. We ordered a cocktail (house margarita which tasted like it was made from bar lime), appetizers and main meal. All food arrived at the same time, there is no pause between cocktail, appetizers and meal. My cioppino included bad crab, it was yellow and had a rotten smell/taste to it. My husband’s seafood pasta had crab shells in the sauce. Once the cioppino was sent back things went down hill, waitress didn’t come back for a while. I needed new cutlery to finish my salad, I asked for one from the owner she didn’t acknowledge my ask and pretty much threw the fork at me. Really disappointing experience for a meal that was $150.

The food and service was excellent! This is a small but very busy restaurant that takes no reservations. They take your cell number and call you when they have a table for you. You can wait outside there if you want but also there is a brew pub 2 minutes away or about 4 doors down you can wait at. Four of the six of us had the Cannelloni, one had the Spaghetti & Meatballs the sixth had a Linguini dish. The portions were more than enough to satisfy most people. Also at the end of the meal they gave us all a free shooter of either Sambuca or Amaretto, nice touch to end the night! We would Definitely come back here but it is a long 6 hour drive from Vancouver, B.C.

We went to Nonni’s for dinner and we both agreed this was our best meal we had on the coast! Like other reviews stated, it was very busy and we had about a half hour wait when we arrived at 5:30 pm. The waitress was very attentive and was very helpful with menu questions. We are glad that we listened to her recommendations-I had the Cioppino and my husband had the Cannelioni.
