Such a great breakfast! Most entrees were $16 to $18 with large portions. Although I don’t usually care for grits, their cheese grits were outstanding! Our server was David and he was terrific.
The day we were there was quite brisk and we sat outside in a tent type structure. I was worried I would be cold, but the heat lamps kept us toasty warm.
Highly recommend.

The staff was friendly and welcoming. The decor was cute, trendy. I love that they have menu items for dogs as well. The kids didn't like their chocolate milk, I wasn't going to even say anything and the waiter replaced them for us. The food was amazing.

We had an exceptional experience with Vietnam Travel- Ms Lea Nguyen, who organized every detail seamlessly, from the itinerary to the accommodations. The 5-star hotels they booked were top-notch, and we were delighted to receive free upgrades at multiple locations! The food, the service, local guides and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended for a stress-free, luxurious vacation.

Wonderful spot for brunch. Noted it was my daughter's birthday when making the reservation, and the staff went out of it's way to wish her a happy birthday, and brought a biscuit with a candle to her. Very nice touch. Food was outstanding. Our table had one Farro Sanders, two Fetch's, one Everything Naughty and a side of raspberry jammers. Everything was well cooked and super tasty. Nice sized portions. We sat outside in the garden area, which had nice tables with umbrellas to shade is from the sun. Overall, a really nice dining experience. Will definitely return.

Such a great local eatery with charm and a little outdoor courtyard that’s also dog friendly! Gotta love it.
Self serve coffee and tea, a friendly staff. Breakfast was delectable!! Eggs cooked perfectly, delicious potato latke, cheesy grits, crisp bacon, and a biscuit to die for! Wish I were here in town to try lunch, but my suspicions are it’s just as good!

Enjoyed taking my son and his dog for brunch. The menu is mouthwatering making it difficult to make a choice. Something for everyone; vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian or meat eater. Plus choices for dogs! We were all happy with our meals.

Our party of 2 couples enjoyed a delicious gluten free breakfast at the Tin Shed on a recent visit to Portland. The menu features traditional breakfast fare along with more creative offerings, and best of all for Ciliacs, plenty of gluten free substitutions. Hands down all 4 of us agreed the potato cakes and cheese grits were the best!

Fantastic and filling brunch! Our party of two was seated quickly. Our Mimosa and Bloody Mary were delivered promptly. They were pint-sized cocktails, $10 each. For my meal, I ordered the Roll Over Stacked Scrambler: pork sausage and scrambled eggs topped with mushroom-rosemary gravy over a potato pancake served with a buttermilk biscuit. I didn't think I could finish everything but it was just too good!
This is a pet-friendly dining experience that also offers a dog menu.

Our local hosts encouraged us to try out the Tin Shed. We hit it at about 1 pm on a Monday and had an hour wait to get in. We took advantage of the time and wandered the local shops. They texted us when our table was ready.
We recognize that Portland is a pet friendly city, but we were a little unprepared to have 14 dogs in the restaurant with us. They were all well behaved and the place even has a dog menu, but it was still a surprise.
The food was very good. Portions could have been a little larger, but were adequate.
We tried the "Big Hit Burrito, $14, which was stuffed with scrambled eggs, mushroom, seasonal greens, onion, roasted sweet potato, roasted garlic, basil pesto, and cream cheese, wrapped in a grilled our tortilla, and a side of potato cakes. We had them hold the pork sausage.
Also the "Everything Nice" $16, pullman loaf french toast, potato cake with sour cream and green onion, scrambled eggs, and chicken-apple sausage and fresh fruit.
Also the "Tim Curry" $14 with roasted sweet potato, seasonal greens, broccoli, mushroom, onion, roasted garlic, and organic tofu in a yellow curry sauce topped with avocado, raisins, and peanuts, and served with potato cakes.
I had the special, scrambled eggs, vegetarian sausage, mushrooms and peppers over cheesy grits, with a side biscuit. It was outstanding.
Service was good at the beginning, but slow near the end.

As we get ready to go back into lockdown here in PDXn I can say with confidence that I'm super grateful that one of my last brunches out was here at Tin Shed! At the same time I'm bummed because I wish I could keep going back. This place is AWESOME!!
Location is ideal as it is right on Alberta street with plenty of local hot spots and is perfect to walk around and explore.
The wait to get in on a Sunday wasn't bad at all. We had scheduled a reservation beforehand and they had us seated within 5 minutes of our arrival. Our waiter was super friendly and kind. Always nice to be light hearted and joke around a bit. You could tell he was smiling behind his mask.
Menu was great. Plenty of options to choose from. Really seemed like you couldn't go wrong with whatever choice you made. I went with the Good Dog. Damn was it good. Went with half and half potato cake and cheese grits on the bottom. Such incredible flavor with the chipotle sauce and sausage too. The best compliment to it was the homemade biscuit! Those things melt in your mouth and go both ways savory or sweet. Meals were perfectly paired with a spicy bloody mary and mimosas.
Definitely recommend this as a great brunch spot. Will most certainly be coming back when we reopen!!

This place prides itself on national media hype - famous for a stop by Guy Fieri from the Food Network. That two thumbs up aside, this place was a perfect match for a Mother's Day meal. Eggs Benedict crab cakes with a side of hash browns filled the tummy and the satisfaction level. Wait staffers were engaged and friendly. This place has such a fun vibe I would definitely return.

Stayed in the Alberta district in an Airbnb and discovered there weren't many restaurants that had a dine-in option due to covid. We discovered the Tin Shed and bou were we happy that we did. Made an rsvp online. This is a dog friendly spot with outdoor seating. I ordered the Spike breakfast burrito. The eggs were cooked great and the Chipotle aoli sauce made this dish amazing. We ordered biscuits to go and the raspberry jam is to die for! We will be back if ever in the area again.

My friend and I love Portland. While I’m out last visit we decided to try the Tin Shed. It was lunchtime, but the breakfast choices were so good, we opted for brunch instead. Both our dishes came with the cheese grits. The thing was, the potatoes sounded good too. Our waited said he could do half and half plus a homemade biscuit. These were served with our egg dishes.
Large portions allowed me to make two meals out of
one! I highly recommend recommend the Tin Shed.

Made from scratch with love and roasted garlic! We had a wonderful breakfast on the patio with our son , daughter-in-law and their dog. This fun spot has delightful music and a walk up coffee/tea bar (inside) with picnic tables on the patio.
I ordered the Stay over potato cakes with the rosemary gravy. The biscuits melt in your mouth!! My hubby ordered the Killingsworth over grits with the bacon gravy. Best breakfast ever!!

Like other reviewers, we had to wait but it was worth it. We went on a Saturday at around 1:00. We waited 45 minutes but we wandered Alberta Street and waited for our text letting us know our table was ready.
The food is great. Home made biscuits, bennys with plenty of hollandaise, delicious gravies, and pint sized mimosas and Bloody Marys. Lots of vegetarian options too.
But the real treat was seeing everyone bring their dogs. We were surprised at how well behaved they all were.
Definitely a must for anyone on vacation missing their puppies.
