I had high hopes for Urban but they fell waaay short, especially considering how 'proud' they are on the menu $$$$. My wife & I split the bone-in pork chop w/ Yukon mash & mushroom sides. The sides were perfect, but the chop was tough,...More

I've been here twice and recommend the eggs Benedict for Brunch and the 20 oz wagyu ribeye for dinner. they have a cheese cart which is pretty rad and cocktails are well made and balanced.

I love all the natural light and upscale yet casual feel. The food and drinks are fantastic and the service never disappoints. Great happy hour too!

Food was amazing. Nice vibe and decor. Totally worth it. I went there for breakfast first. Best eggs benedict ever. Big portion was a plus. Went second time for desserts. Definitely going back there again

Had dinner here with our son and some friends from out of town. Everyone's food was spot on and our server was probably one of the most knowledgable servers we have ever had. Awesome night

I really don't like this experience. The service was slow, seems like if you going solo does not get you the appropriate service, and leads to think that is a differentiation on the amount you are going to expend. The taste... Bad, I ordered a...More

Possibly the best breakfast we have had in Portland. Made me happy just to be sitting there in the sun (how often does one get to say that here?).

No way. We found the service disinterested, and the place itself is very self absorbed, but it wasn't that slow.

I follow a gluten free diet and was able to easily eat gluten free at Urban Farmer. Some restaurants say food is gf and then I have a reaction, but not at UF. All clear!

I wasn't there for Mother's Day, however, I imagine anything they have is FANTASTIC!! The good is fresh and uniquely delicious. The dress is as fancy or as casual as you choose. Portland is very eclectic, so anything... More

Urban Farmer redefines the modern steakhouse with an emphasis on Northwest, sustainable ingredients and simple, straightforward preparations within a farmer chic environment. The menu honors national and local culinary traditions sourcing ingredients from some of the Northwest’s finest eco-friendly producers like Sudan Farms, Wooden Bridge, Nicky Farms, and Cattail Creek. Open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, weekend brunch and happy hour, Urban Farmer remains a reliable and approachable destination amidst Portland’s bustling food scene.Designer David Ashen of D-ASH Design in New York created a unique restaurant space within the 8th floor atrium lobby of the Nines Hotel. The space makes use of organic, reclaimed and modern materials such as a 20-foot communal table sourced from an old-growth Douglas Fir. The spacious “Deck” captures the light-hearted feel of outdoor dining and is accented by a field of wheat grass in the center of the room. A video installation by one of Portland’s favorite experimental artists, Matt McCormick, rolls stunning images of the city’s rural and urban landscapes. The “Pantry” offers an intimate setting with walls of steel and reclaimed timber, as well as shelves stacked with vibrant jars of pickled fruits and vegetables. The Library , adjacent to Urban Farmer in the lobby, is the ideal venue for guests to host private parties, play a game of pool or enjoy a quiet cocktail.
