Decided to give Canary's a try and we weren't disappointed. We had a late breakfast on a weekday and it was quite busy. Even so, we were seated immediately and our orders taken quickly.
Despite a sign saying there may be delays with their labor...shortage, our food arrived quickly. They were hot and while not the greatest food we've eaten, everything was cooked perfectly, especially the eggs and pancakes. Also, very fair prices make Canary's an incredible value. The full parking lot was a dead giveaway. We'll be back.More
At the intersection of Sterns and Lorain Ave. easy find off I480. Very nice old fashioned diner. The staff were super nice. The food is reasonably priced, and they know how to take and fill orders. Hot coffee refills without asking. Not all places allow...you to visit but this establishment was very kind to our group of 11 seniors.More
Such a shame. I wanted to like this place. Employees have a poor attitude and are not very helpful. We came in for breakfast. Food was better than average and portions were quite large. Take a look at the sign that was at our table....With that kind of attitude - we will not be back.More
You could eat here every day for a month and still not be able to try everything on the menu!! There was something to satisfy all tastes. We went there with family on Friday 10-25-19 during mid-afternoon for a late lunch. There was no wait...and we were seated right away. The number and variety of selections are mind-boggling. Breakfast is served at any hour. In our party of four two had fried fish dinner, one had spaghetti, and one had tuna sandwich. Portions were large and everything was prepared exactly as we had requested. The staff was super friendly and the lighting and noise level were perfect--not too dark and not too much noise. It was very clean.More
The pancakes were dry. The scrambled eggs with cheese simply had a half melted slice of cheese laid on top. Despite having 7 waitresses, we had to get our own coffee refill because none were assigned the job of walking around filling up cups. I...saw one waitress combining partial pots of coffee and pour the last of a regular pot into a decaf pot. On the plus side, the place is clean and the pricing reasonable.More
