Really fresh seafood on the road into Freycinet National Park. Nice setup, great seafood. Well priced. Oysters in a wide range of flavours, prawns, mussels and crayfish. Licensed for the perfect wine. Worth the stop!!

Would've given this a better rating but sadly they failed us on an issue that, especially when eating seafood, has brought my rating down. This place is busy and there are food options aplenty however prices a bit on the steep side – then again...it is seafood. There's always a long queue waiting to order so maybe throwing an extra cash till might speed things up a little. The issue for us was that the buzzer we were given didn't buzz when our oyster kilpatricks were ready to be collected. We were waiting at our table for over 25 minutes so went to the area where they were to be collected and discovered they had just been sitting there all that time. And from what I could see there were many other dishes piling up. The area also exposed to the outside so there could have been flies and what ever else landing on all the food. When I brought the food back to the table, other people who were clearly obviously waiting went up too and they got their food as well. Not a very good system especially when dealing with seafood, if the buzzer system doesn't work at all. Seafood tasted fine but was less than impressed as we could've been waiting forever. Sorry.More

I was deliberately waiting to have oysters here during our 2-week Tasmanian holiday. 6 natural and 6 nam jim - fresh and perfect. My family doesn’t like oysters but there are plenty of other options. Such a great lunch option.

Great little spot, never ever have you seen so many oyster shells! Be sure to wear shoes. Delicious oysters, prawns and seafood based dishes. Miss 9 and Miss 12 enjoyed their standard fish orders and explored different drinks. Not for the budget conscious it is...easy to drop $100 for four people here. Ideal for seafood lovers and a place to spoil yourself with some delicious food and atmosphere. Plenty of parking and bathrooms including a men’s urinal. No bookings. Gets busy, plenty of sheltered and unsheltered tables. Bring a jacket for windy or cold days. Not beside the bay, has hillside and bay views.More

I ordered the Thai curry mussels for lunch and they were very tasty. I didn’t count but it was certainly a filling meal at a reasonable price. I should have saved the roll to soak up the excess sauce. Well organised.

Excellent fresh seafood. Ordered 12 un-split oysters, tray of king prawns with cocktail sce, and a octopus antipasto. It was all very good. Only thing that could have been better if the oyster had been cleaned better before being bagged. You split the oyster and...all the grit that was left on shell made it’s way into the oyster, the reason we got un-split was because we don’t like to rinse the oyster before eatingMore

Had fresh oysters & every shell was broken & with grit in them which massively detracted from the enjoyment. Maybe they have a novice doing the shucking? Salmon sashimi delicious, mussels very tasty, but again the preparation was lacking as they weren't scrubbed well. Overall...good but not great.More

Its very casual, no frills, but the shellfish is fabulously fresh and delicious, My partner had a great bowl of mussels and I had scallops so good I could scarcely believe what I was eating. Wow. The food here was incredible! We had the mussels, which my husband and 7yr old devoured with joy. Also fish and chips and for myself who's gluten-free, the salmon with Asian salad. The fish and chips were delicious and so well cooked. I don't...often order salmon but this was cooked to absolute perfection and the salad was a great accompaniment. Love that you walk around on oyster shells! Lovely outdoor tables and quick service. Fantastic food - some of the best we had in TasmaniaMore
