Visited on Friday 23rd July at lunch time. We were going to have a meal in the dining room but didn't like the look of it, so bland. Instead we headed into the sports bar and had our lunch there. Great choice of meals and...served with a cold beer. What more would you want.More
Full marks for making the effort to provide a better dining experience in Roma and this promised to be better than average pub food and it was but it had the same kitchen as the rest of the pub and you could order bar tupe...meals as well. It was good but not quite up there to be special in terms of food standard. Service was fine.More
Upon entering we felt un-welcomed by the only staff member who told us the meals would take 40 mins to come out to us. Having booked a table ahead of time we still proceeded to dine in since we didn’t know the area but…maybe we...should have gone elsewhere.
Service was so flippant by the super stressed out waiter and when the meals arrived they were tiny portions. Pasta was more an entree size, meat pie was like one you get at the servo and the “lamb” salad was actually five fatty slices of beef cooked to beef jerky levels of dryness and crispness with zero dressing and just a packet mix from woolies underneath. I also do not quite understand the “French” decor yet zero French items on the menu. The only French influence was the arrogance of the waiter.More
Complete and great hospitality, with engaged staff who welcome you like they own the place, the type of staff everyone wants to employ. Huge menu, leaving no taste bud unturned. Enjoyed so much, came back for lunch the next day, which was equally as good
The atmosphere was morgue like, the service average. We ordered one main with salmon and prawns. The salmon was raw in the centre and the prawns under cooked and inedible. The steak ordered was just ok with a very uninspiring salad.
When we informed the...fellow who served the food as we paid he had no interest what so ever in our comments...I'd never go back.More
We ordered ribs (dry) and chicken wings - tasted like they were straight from coles deli. Chicken Kiev was dry and horrible but the worst of all were the veggies - carrots old and pale, corn shriveled, beans salad cauliflower had gone off and had...black mould!!! Expensive and inedibleMore
