Just wonderful, so cosy friendly, sitting in a nice sofa cornr enjoying a fabulous lunch. Great coffees, teas, cakes, sandwiches....I LOVE this place. Waitresses adorable, been there a long time, knows their guests. England as its best.
Enjoyed a delicious family brunch at The Cape on a Sunday. The restaurant was busy but we were lucky enough to get a table as walk ins. Good quality produce, home made touch, fresh coffee and juices, great and friendly service. 5 stars all round
We went to The Cape for breakfast and it was absolutely delicious. They catered for my coeliac daughter, bringing the chef to the table so I could speak to them and were very knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble. Lots of choice and the food...was clearly freshly made, even the bread. The lady that served us was friendly and warm and I would highly recommend a visit. Relaxed, charming atmosphere. Thank you for having us, we shall be back soon!More
Popped in on the off chance for a snack/lunch .
We had our dog with us and my wife and I were welcomed as was the dog. They cater for our four legged friends in the front of the cafe
We ordered two toasted sandwiches...on sour dough , they were exceptionally tasty and well presented along with two pots of tea. Would highly recommend this cafe .More
We bought the Valentines Dinner for 2 as a take out. The whole meal (starter/main/dessert) was exceptional and at a very reasonable price. In these very difficult days, Pippa and her team did a superb job in providing a lovely spread for enjoyment at home....We recommend they continue with this effort and that we support them until things return to normalMore
