Lovely hotel, perfect location, really attentive staff that cannot do enough for you. Special mention to Timothy and Ismael who were wonderful waiters at breakfast. Would definitely recommend staying in this hotel if you come to Valladolid for location, atmosphere, and attentive staff. Hotel is...located right opposite the main square, 5 minute walk (if that) from ADO bus station.More

We had a breakfast in the restaurant- it’s a lovely, very traditional atmosphere. Food was very good- mostly home-made. Service is excellent- Ismael was so professional and attentive, best restaurant service we got in Valladolid! Highly recommend!

Ismael was our waiter and Miguel assisting, and they could not have been more solicitous without being ever present. The ambiance alone in this restaurant is a selling point. The courtyard, art work and foliage are an oasis in the middle of the city. The...food is wonderful too. Have a regional dish! The chile poblano was one of my favorite dishes, full of flavor but not overly spicy. Their lime soup is the best that I have had since I began visiting Valladolid twenty years ago.More

good bad hard pillows. Water pressure and shower. OK. Very hot water if you need it. Excellent breakfast with real orange juice. And the Chia Quiles are phenomenal. Impeccable and friendly service. People are smiling even when they’re tired. Free parking on site. Beautiful colonial...hotel with a wonderful swimming pool.More

We had dinner with server Daniel two nights, and he went above and beyond to make our meal a delight! I had the salmon with three types of tomatoes and liked it so much that I ordered it both times. Sadly, the morning meal did...not meet the expectations set the evening before. The service was terrible! I had to get up to find a server three times (one for a menu, one for silverware, and one to get someone to take our order). The food was good, but the service was atrocious! It took 50 minutes to get served a breakfast. We were asked if we were guests and said yes, but it was like they did not think we wanted a meal since we did not have that with our room rate. But we did want a meal and were prepared to pay for it directly. Something should be done about that failure to serve a client adequately.More

Everything from the cocktail to the tacos was delicious. We dined at the rooftop hotel (aka Don Diablo) and the view was fabulous.

We were fairly famished and went to this place as it was walking distance from where we parked - it is in a great location and looked good from outside. Full marks for location and looks. There was a small queue to get in and...no one at the counter or kiosk. Someone turned up and said "30 mins wait". Before we could consider it and discuss it among ourselves, someone else came along and said "this way" and took us to a table! The menu contained some items that they use fire to cook at the table - alas, it was not available on the day. We ordered three dishes and a couple of drinks. The melon juice tasted like it was from a too ripe melon (but not sweet). The fajitas came with rice and vegetables and no tortilla to wrap it in? Maybe we missed something.. And I ordered garlic shrimp - it came with rice and again, nothing bread like/tortilla nor any gravy so I ended up eating the shrimp and rice. Odd.. All in all, I don't really recommend this place - it looks better than it serves..More

A beautiful hotel, well positioned on the main square.rooms average size and not massively well appointed. Wifi patchy… The food good (had breakfast and dinner) the people that work here seem nice based on the limited interactions we had. However I could forgive all the...smaller. Room, patchy wifi…but it’s noisy all the time. The nesting birds in the trees make an early dawn chorus….(bring ear plugs), but at least that’s a natural sound. Our room has noise from the bar, noise from the pool, there’s a gap under the door so the noise comes from the walkway outside, there’s no glass windows, just wooden doors onto a balcony…and yes more noise!!!!! Sitting in your room hearing the conversation of those around the pool is hardly restful!! As pretty as the place is I wouldn’t recommend or returnMore

This is my second time in Valladolid, staying at the Meson. We love it here. The location is perfect. It is safe, right on the square, and walkable to everything downtown. Many great restaurants and shops in the area, but we usually eat at the...Meson as they have excellent local dishes. We try something new everytime and have never been disappointed. Always excellent service from their attentive staff (thank you, Ismael!). If you are staying at the hotel, the rooms are very clean, well-appointed, and the pool and hot tub are wonderful.More

We had dinner here in a group of 6. The staff is very accommodating. There were good vegan options as well. Our waiter Ismael was great, he cooked the flaming dishes at our table. Highly recommend the house plate appetizer. The portion is large and...delicious.More

A beautiful atmosphere, just the right background music. A lot of choice on the menu and prices are reasonable for the quality of food. Would recommend the flambéed dishes. Great service from Ismael
