We were so hoping for good seafood but we were a little disappointed. The waiter was just ok, absolutely nothing special. I ordered seafood combo with blackened flounder and shrimp and WOW was it blackened. I like spicy food but this was way TOO spicy....I scraped most of the blackened spices off and it was more tolerable. They were definitely keeping social distance and everyone was wearing their masks properly except our waiter, he had to wear his under his nose. 😳🙄More

Traveled to Waynesville/Maggie Valley area. Wanted to try something local. This place did not disappoint. My wife had a side salad which was simple but fresh. I had the small spinach salad with bacon vinegarette. Very fresh! I tried steamed Gulf Oysters, gotta have hot...sauce, fresh horseradish and lemon. They as well were really good and sfresh fresh. As her main entre, my wife had the Hawaiian shrimp with Jezebel sauce ( tangy sweet peach and slight spice) with twice baked potato. The shrimp were coconut battered. Very good sized and plenty of them for both of us. They were perfectly done. Nice coconut flakes, golden brown crust and you knew you were eating shrimp and nit just batter! My entre was blackened Flounder. Wonderfully seasoned and light and flaky. I also had collard greens (yes added a splash of hot sauce) and steamed broccoli and cauliflower. Both were fresh and tasty! Our Server Eli was great! He new tge menu and described the items perfectly. He was attentstive and very professional. We will Definitely return on our next trip to the area.More

Friday night with friends and spending the weekend in Waynesville. Didn't want to cook, so we found Maggie's Galley. Had about a 30 min wait, but once in , service was quick. Ricky, our waiter did a great job. Servings were more than ample. Seafood...and sides were good. Belly full!More

The people are rude, the food is average and, the atmosphere is inside and outside redneck. Definitely will NEVER return to Maggie’s Galley.

Our first trip to waynesville and we ordered dinner from Maggie’s. The almond shrimp were divine as were the regular shrimp broiled. The side dishes were fresh warm and beautifully prepared. I had the sweet potatoes as one of my sides and it was like...eating an early dessert! A great mealMore

This restaurant serves up the best seafood anywhere in N.C. The wife, and I drive for miles to eat there, when we're craving seafood. The establishment is clean, covid safe, the staff very attentive, and the owner makes you feel right at home. Hmmmm...This has...me wanting some good oysters.More

Delicious seafood as well as steaks at a very reasonable price. A local recommended the seafood chowder and it was so good. Visited here while staying at Harrah's Cherokee and well worth the short trip.

Vacationing in Waynesville for Valentine’s Day weekend and discovered this gem. We ate dinner there kind of late Saturday night and we’re seated at the bar. Ariel was a fantastic server and bartender and was very engaging. All of her recommendations were on point. She...told us about Sunday brunch and, since we love Eggs Benedict, we decided to visit again on Sunday afternoon. The meal was fantastic and Vince took very good care of us! And let’s not forget Anna who was also very friendly and accommodating. We would DEFINITELY recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area!More
