We were in Waynesville NC for 4 days and ate there for lunch... it was so good we went back for dinner 2 days later. Everything was GREAT... The raw oysters are as good as Apachicola. We can't to go back to this beautiful area.

This is worth the 8 mile detour off the interstate! Oysters were fresh. Shrimp and grits, NC rainbow trout, and filet were all amazing!!! I highly recommend the sweet potato casserole.

Seafood was so fresh and everything we ordered was amazing. Our server Caroline was so helpful and nice, and she took such great care of us. We are from Michigan and Red Lobster doesn't even come close to the great food here :)

Three in our party and not a single complaint. The service was good, the food served quickly and was exactly as ordered. Prices were fair and the food was good. We will go again. Be sure to try the grits, it is cooked low country style.

It was our last day in town and we had read the posts on Trip Advisor, so we went there. The outside is nothing remarkable but there were plenty of cars there to support the TA comments. Inside looked like an older Red Lobster. We were greeted warmly and taken to our table. Carolyn was our waitress. What a personable... More

My husband and I enjoyed seafood combo platters for dinner. I was especially impressed with the tasty seafood chowder that was offered as a side. My blackened shrimp, scallops, and flounder platter was good but was highly seasoned. My husband's combo was grilled. He enjoyed it but preferred the seasoning on mine. We should have switched plates at the beginning... More

We have been eating here for years during our visits to Waynesville. Consistently great seafood and other specials. As an oyster lover, they have some of the best oyster stew I have ever tasted. On our last visit we ate here four times for lunch and dinner.

Because when you see it, you'll eat it. All of it. Let me explain. The first thing you have to know about Maggie's Galley is they are serious about their Seafood. Something you also need to know is they use very rich ingredients. What does this mean? If you order a meal that comes with a side and you decide... More

This restaurant is very relaxed atmosphere, so if you looking for ambiance, you may be dissapointed, but if you are looking for quality seafood, tasty sides, and good service, then you should be quite content to dine here.

60s couple. We have only been here for lunch, but we usually turn it into a big lunch, with a dozen oysters each and perhaps the fish & chips, fish special or special sandwich like roast beef au jus. We always eat at the bar -- the bartender pours a nice drink, there's usually an interesting beer on tap, and... More
