Food very average. Have used this takeaway quite a few times. Last night will be the last though having being taken aback by the price increases. If you believe all the media hype about the knock on affects of Covid staff shortages/ food price increases...etc. I understand prices generally have gone up and expect to pay a bit extra but a main meal ( takeaway) now over $20+, that’s a big increase from last month! Other Indian restaurants in the area(Wellington Point) related to this one I believe, have also put prices up. Obviously got their heads together.More

I’ve been eating at the Little Indian Palace for over 30 years. Mostly the food is excellent which makes up for the poor service and quality of the Restraunt. My usual delivery order comes to less than $50, but just been advised that price increases...take my usual order to nearly $70! I placed a similar order at the Maharaja Indian Restaurant which came to $52. Time to send these guys a strong message. TAKE CARE OF THOSE THAT TAKE CARE OF YOU.More

Sadly, we have to agree with recent poor reviews. We have been buying food at LIP almost since it opened, usually takeaway but sometimes dining in. The food, with the occasional exception, was good with large helpings. Similarly the service was good, takeaways ready on...time. Recently however, no matter how far ordered in advance there is a prolonged wait. We were recently asked, together with about a dozen others, to wait outside on a cold, wet night for close to an hour, in spite of having ordered an hour and a half before. This is a serious management problem needing urgent attention. Until the problem is rectified we shall go elsewhere.More

Ordered online at 7.30. Phoned at 8.30 and was told all deliveries were on the way. Phoned back at 9 to ask for a time and were told ""oh sorry we thought this order was cancelled.... REALLY??????? WHY?? So waited one and a half hours...and no food and a rude person told me the manager was too busy to talk to me.... How?? he isn't attending to orders! Never ordering again from this restaurant even though we have been regulars for years!! DISGUSTING!!More

Nil service, waited one and a half hours for food that was average. Excuse was “they ran out of rice” nice one. Don’t bother going here, there’s plenty of decent Indian restaurants in Cleveland and Wellington Pt. and you’ll have eaten and be back home before...these guys would get their entrees out.More

note this was a home delivery ........we started with their mixed entree, which was pakora, samosa, tandoori drumsticks and seekh kebab all 2 serves. the samosos were just potato mushed up in deep fried puff pastry, greasy and tasteless, where was the spices and peas?...2 pieces of seekh kebab were actually 2 qtrs of a whole one. pakora overcooked and dry, drumsticks were ok but lacked that tandoori spice flavour. chicken curry was bland, but chicken was tender. the naan was round and flat like a pizza, i would say it was cooked in a pan not a tandoor. and the rice had peas in it, which should have been in the samosa. for our first try of here it was a let down and wont be ordering again from hereMore

Ordered food by telephone, advised it would be ready in 40 minutes, arrived to pick up and told 15 minute wait, 2 hours later along with others, lack of communication. No apologies, still taking orders over phone and telling people 40 minutes. Food mediocre, this...restaurant has definitely gone down hill.More

Lucky the food is good because there is next to no management front of house processes. Some staff were running around all chaotic and other staff were just standing around leaning on counters. There were paper orders scattered all over the reception desk. Customers waiting...on take away orders had no where to stand except in the restaurant itself in between the people dining in at tables. I even witnessed the staff completely loose an entire tables order and have to ask the ladies again what they had ordered (45 minutes later). Those poor ladies ended up carrying out their order in doggy bags. However the food was amazing. Lots of flavour and very authentic. It's just too bad the front of house couldn't get their act together cos the back of house nailed it!More

Great location, nice exterior but the food was dismal. Starters were overcooked, fried and or refried and the curry tasted weak and tasteless. An expensive chicken in gravy dish with a few spices thrown in, is how I would describe it. The meat was tender...but the base curry sauce was bland, flavourless and not reduced to thicken and intensify flavours. I would not go back and will stick to my regular takeaway.More

I have been eating here for some years now and felt it was time to write a review. It is obvious they maintain a very high quality, using the exact right herbs and spices to achieve a consistently authentic, delicious end product. The cheese and...spinach naan are nothing short of a simple, sublime, savoury and salubrious sensation! Haha I love these naan breads. My go-to test for an Indian restaurant is their Palak Paneer and Little Indian Restaurant in Cleveland is top 2 for me, having tested at least 30 Indian restaurants in a few different countries. As a vegetarian, I can't vouch for the meat meals, but my brother (who also happens to be a chef of 40+ years) similarly raves about them. Do yourself a favour and treat yourself. Haven't got time or not hungry for a full meal, just order 1x cheese and spinach naan take away and woof it down on the way home hehe. Just make sure you wipe the corners of your mouth so you're not caught out by your family!!More

Have frequented this restaurant many times and the food and the service have always been good however on this occasion I was disappointed. I ordered a Onion Bhaji Pakori to share as an entree. We had ordered them before and thought they were not as good...as they could be but we thought we would just try them again .They arrived and be both looked at each other and said "What is that "!! They were flat ,overcooked to the stage where they were burnt black all around the edges and basically uneatable. As their were 4 on the plate we shared one each so we could get a group opinion and yes we all agree that they were terrible. When our waiter person came to collect the dishes i said to her that they were terrible and here response was yes I can see that as she pointed to the empty plate and rushed off to the kitchen without allowing us to explain that we had shared the meal I would suggest that this staff member should in future listen rather than forming her own opinion in the future . Apart from that the meal was fine and I will certainly return but never will i order the Onion Bhaji again and i warn others to avoid itMore

Not as easy to judge when not eating fresh, but there was something not quite right here. Firstly, the delivery took 90 mins, just not satisfactory, but the food was the real problem. Fish meal, very very dry and overcooked. Onion pakora, burnt. Biriyani, very...average. Butter chicken good. Naans were tasty enough but didn't survive the trip without being melded together in a molten blob. Too many local opti to be tempted back here againMore

Hi, Sorry I don't know as I've always ordered drinks with my meal here. They have a good selection and reasonable priced. Suggest you may wish to check direct with them.
