“A good blend of coffee and dessert”

A good selection of hot coffee and cold drinks. They have an array of delightful desserts and you just want to savor it until the last bite. I loved their mango cake, chocolate crepe cake, sans rival, salted caramel cake, yema cake and I could go on and on. It’s either a hot green tea for me or a cup of cappuccino. A place to relax and enjoy with family or friends.

Small cafe that delivers

Am not big on muffins but Jacques banana and walnut one and its espresso really hit the spot.Would visit here again.

Nice place to go for afternoon coffee.I am not a cake person but they have the best cakes, I love their Yema cake and their Frappuccino is comparable to most well known brands.Only they have limited space indoor.

Too sweet!

The drinks are way too sweet! Got coffee crumble for my mom which she found weird as the crumbles are too rough, as if it was sand? Got myself Wintermelon milk tea which was decent. Also got Iced Latte, which I asked with no sugar and then got it with too much sugar. I had to return it... Ordered the fish pesto pasta, which was fair but took about thirty minutes until it was sent out. Had to follow-up multiple times. The ambiance outside by the sea is great, it was windy, too. Too bad we're not allowed to smoke, though. Kind of a deal breaker.

Good Coffee and Dessert

Tried Jacque’s Blend Coffee and it was good - roasted quite well with no acidic after-taste Loved the Nutella Mouse, Mango Shortcake, Yema Cake and Chocolate Cake - serving slice is quite huge for the price. I just wish they were colder as them seem to be baked fresh Staff is very attentive Service is quick and pleasant

The Coffe crumble and Caramel Machiato were delicious. The french fries were very good. The views are really nice from their outdoor patio. There is a Take a Book Leave a Book by the patio. Nice place with friendly staff. They are always coming up with new treats everyweek, so you have to keep going back.

Rocky road cake is a piece of heaven

Indeed found a piece of heaven in their rocky road cake, a truly must try for a sweet tooth like me. Prices are also inexpensive. Good ambience and just perfect after dining out.

This is located along baybay beach and in front of the resort where we stayed. After lunch we decided to take our dessert here - ordered cappuccino coffee, Vietnamese coffee, heaven and earth cake and chocolate cake. The cakes were so good and moist, just the way i like them to be. The prices so affordable as well.

Lots of cakes to choose from

I was surprised with the variety. The cake slices were reasonably priced at around Php85/slice. Among the cakes we ordered: cheesecake, brownie skillet, banofee, mango cake, et al I liked the warmed brownie topped with vanilla ice cream the most. It came with 2 sizes. If you are eating alone, get the smaller size. Pay as you order.

Missed the coffee & chills

This was our first ever visit to Jacque's Coffee & Chills. Jacque's had been recommended as a place to relax. There were six of us and we requested outdoor seating. We were there for a couple of hours, and I don't remember the waiter ever asking or telling us about their 'coffee and chills'. We ordered San Miguel beers. One in the party got up and went inside and came back with two chocolate desserts. Here again, the waiter missed the opportunity to show us, tell us about everything they had.

Nice place at the beach

After I heard and read a lot about Jacque's Coffee & Chills 'great coffee' and 'incredible cake', today I finally made it. I bicycled the 4.6 km from my place to Bay-Bay. Jacque's Coffee & Chills has one small room with four or five tables and several additional seats outside with a nice sea view. The displayed cakes were looking quite appealing. I chose a french apple-crumble pie and a cafe latte. Service was friendly but slow. The apple-crumble pie came after roughly 10 minutes. Nice thing - to my surprize it was topped with a scoop vanilla ice cream, I didn't expect that. Unfortunately it did come without my cafe latte. Since the pie was warm and I was sitting outside where it was quiet hot too, the ice cream started melting. To avoid a soggy pie I had to start eating. It was quite good actually; not too sweet, fruity, just right for my taste. The cafe latte arrived finally 10 minutes after I had finished my apple-crumble pie. Though it came late the flavor was OK. Nothing special if it wouldn't be Roxas City. There are not many places in Roxas that do offer a brewed coffee instead 3 in 1. Would I come again? Yeah, I think it's woth it. Cake was nice, coffee was OK, service was friendly, prices are reasonable and location is great. Service could be a bit faster. At least they should serve coffee and cake together.

Upbeat and laid back too

Modern, comfortable and a a complete surprise here in Roxas City. Small and intimate, with seating for maybe 15 inside but lots of outdoor seating available too. Inside is like sitting in a comfy den or library. Coffee is great, staff friendly and for those of you with a sweet tooth, there are lots of decadent dessert treats. A limited lunch or dinner menu is available also. Like stonewithnomoss said: too bad it's not open for breakfast. Doors don't open until 1pm each day and closed Mondays.

Great tasting coffee right on the beach. I had a great coffee latte every bit as good as Bo's or Starbucks. My only complaint? I wish they opened for breakfast!!
