Great veggie frittata with their cheddar grits. Friends had the steak and eggs, roasted cucumbers appetizer. All of our plates were empty. Service was outstanding and we sat outside. Their berry butter for the bread was quite tasty.
Delicious lunch at the bar on a Saturday. We had a BLT with fries, she crab soup and grilled Romaine salad. It was quiet inside but busy outside. Very friendly staff all around. So much better than a chain or mall food! Looking forward to...returning again soon. Love they support local farmers and keep the prices affordable for the average diner.More
We got 2 dishes to go as we were staying in a nearby hotel. The cornmeal catfish with cheese grits and garlic sauteed green beans... superb!! I would love to live nearby, this would be a go to dish! Also had the mixed greens salad...with grilled chicken and goat cheese, house made vinaigrette, very very delicious! Excellent portions. Very decently priced given the great quality of food. Would love to eat here again!More
It was OK, not great not terrible. I was disappointed they had farm raised salmon and obviously not wild caught shrimp. The goat cheese dip was good, not great. My sister's tamales were stone cold then wisked away to be heated and brought back in...60 seconds, obviously microwaved. My salad was OK, but nothing special. They were out of wine, "waiting for their delivery." Um, there's a grocery story across the parking lot? Again, does not live up to what's promised.More
My wife and I have been going here since they opened and have always had a great experience. Friendly atmosphere, great food where the chef is allowed to try new things. Some of the dishes may seem standard for the area but there are also...new twists on old recipes.
Great draft beers - not a large assortment but adequate, the wine list is also good with moderately priced bottles.More
We had high hopes for this restaurant, as it had decent reviews. However, the food was only okay. I know I had a salad with catfish on top. I remember the catfish being only okay and the salad pretty average. My husband had a grilled...meatloaf sandwich which was also just okay. I might try it once more - we were there on a Monday, so maybe it was an off day.More
We arranged a large post-concert dinner for The Chamber Orchestra of the Triangle, not something they usually do. We all ordered from a diverse and wonderful three course menu. Not a single food complaint—folks loved it. The staff bent over backwards!
Above all. Excellent food...and great bar, all reasonably priced. All locally sourced.More

They definitely do. I'm not a vegetarian, but I happened to get a vegetarian, actually I believe it was fully vegan, item as my main course. I had the acorn squash in the fall. It was roasted in the oven and brushed with olive oil. Inside it was filled with... more vegetables, maybe asparagus? sorry I'm having a hard time remembering of hand just now. I spoke at length about it in my review.
But it was great. And there were others. I remember seeing a gnocchi, and I want to say s soup... They were very accommodating as well, so just let them know whatever you need.
