Tobacco Road is not a sports bar. Brothers Brian, Alex and Rommie Amra share a passion for both sports and good food. Unfortunately, they found that their favorite places to watch the game were never the same as their favorite places to eat, and decided to remedy this for the people of the Triangle. As a result, the Amras are unwavering in their insistence that as much emphasis be placed on the menu as what’s on the 40+ HDTVs that surround guests in the Tobacco Road bar. For a quieter and more formal dining experience, guests can enjoy their meal in the main dining room or reserve Tobacco Road's private dining room for special events. We need assistance due to traveling with a handicapped person. They were very helpful in accommodating us. The wait staff were efficient and pleasant. Food was OK - except the crab cakes (the plate was warmer than the crab). Good site to eat and enjoy...the baseball spirit and view!More

Nice spot to eat before or during a baseball game. Service was good and food was not typical sports bar food.

This bar is actually a brewery that has a a bunch of tvs around the bar. they also have several arcade games in the back. The beer that is brewed is fairly good some real gems on the list. The buffalo nachos, for me, rank...as some of the best nachos I have ever had. definitely worth checking outMore

we ate outside. The staff all wore masks and worked at making everyone feel comfortable. We had the best food. I split the Greek lemon chicken. What tasteful meal. I would recommend this as a place to go to.

We arrived there around 3pm (it wasnt crowded), they seat us kind of confined in a little tiny claustrophobic space, I asked the waitress if she can change the channel on TV we want to see basketball, (she never did), and that is not my...complain, my complain is about the awful service, we place our order, one hour passed and we didnt received our food, however all the tables around that were empty when we arrived were full and people already enjoying their food, our waitress every time that she looked around said that she was going to check, finally I asked for the manager and talked with him about my problem, he said "he is going to check", it took another 15 minutes, by that time we got our food (1h 20min) , we already have to leave because we were going to a show on DPAC and it was about to start. Awfful experience.More

Nice little sports bar overlooking the Durham Bulls stadium. Hot chicken sandwich on point! Spicy Cole slaw wasn’t really spicy and slightly lacking in sauce. Kind of dry. Make their own beer, IPA was solid. Hazy as hell, but not too hoppy.

New menu- some items listed on the menu they do not have such as zucchini app.'s. Buffalo egg rolls are good (Large portion).. The Okra side is fair and the chicken salad sandwich was mostly bread. Popular sports bar with several TV's. There are several...other choices in the area.More

We have eaten here twice before plays at DPAC. This is definitely not a sports bar! The food is more upscale than your usual neighborhood bar. My steak was fantastic and the vegetables were cooked just right. Husband had a great bison burger. We ate...at the bar and Megan and Morgan were fun and attentive. We will definitely be back!More

Great place. The food and service was outstanding. Our server was extremely busy because DPAC next door had a big show, but she kept it up efficiently like a pro. Kia is an amazing server.

The food was amazing and the service excellent. Everyone at my table ordered something different and no one had a bad meal. I am planning on stopping there for dinner the next time I am in town.

They do not take reservations but do have “call ahead” that puts you on list before you arrive. This does get you table faster.

you would have to call the restaurant directly. I attended prior to a DPAC show when there was no huge demand for seating. the food was great!
