Interesting and delicious menu (go for the shrimp mac & cheese); have a drink in left field of the Bulls stadium; excellent bartenders.

How you’re treated when you walk thru the door of an establishment sets the tone for your experience. Located between DPAC & Durham Bulls Athletics Park, they have perfected handling large amounts of people in a short time frame. Kudos to Camaya and Senae on...More

We visited on father’s day with another family, pre-baseball game. The restaurant wasn’t busy and we were first met with an extremely rude hostess. She treated our party of 9 as an inconvenience. Upon being seated, we had the slowest, most unattentive waiter. At one...More

Food was okay but we encountered the rudest evening manager with no customer service at all. The waiter (who was wonderful) took our credit card to pay our bill. He returned a minute later very confused because our credit card was no longer in the...More

Went to watch a baseball game - never seen one before and I won’t again. It’s not an exciting sport! The restaurant is very modern - TFI Fridays type deal. Friendly staff and decent tasty food

This is located very close to the Durham Bulls baseball park. In fact, you can get a table outside and see the game. The staff was very accommodating for our group of ten. The food was good and they had a good selection of craft...More

Ordered fried artichoke hearts as an appetizer, and they were pretty bad - soggy, greasy, and too much mayo. It took a while to place our order, our food arrived after our friends were done eating, and we had to hound down the check. Would...More

They do not take reservations but do have “call ahead” that puts you on list before you arrive. This does get you table faster.

you would have to call the restaurant directly. I attended prior to a DPAC show when there was no huge demand for seating. the food was great!

Description
Tobacco Road is not a sports bar. Brothers Brian, Alex and Rommie Amra share a passion for both sports and good food. Unfortunately, they found that their favorite places to watch the game were never the same as their favorite places to eat, and decided to remedy this for the people of the Triangle.

As a result, the Amras are unwavering in their insistence that as much emphasis be placed on the menu as what’s on the 40+ HDTVs that surround guests in the Tobacco Road bar. For a quieter and more formal dining experience, guests can enjoy their meal in the main dining room or reserve Tobacco Road's private dining room for special events.

Tobacco Road strives to provide its guests with:
1. Fresh, delicious food.
2. Exceptional service.
3. All that the sports fan could ask for.
