Great brisket

Went in for lunch yesterday. It was an early lunch and the place was not busy yet. Not sure how to order I looked at the menu and thought the taco made with BBQ brisket salons food. It was awesome!!!! Best tacos I have ever eaten, the sauce was excellent the shell full, it was so good I called my son who lives nearby to tell him how good it was, he is like yeah I know. Give it a try you won’t b disappointed

Great place clean friendly and good food I went in for a quick bite met Sam the owner. Order a couple of tacos. Excellent product a hint of Chipolte peppers is what I tasted in the sauce , shredded beef soft taco shell. Very very good They even had a choice of soda made with sugar cane along with fountain said This is the place for tacos. Stop by and enjoy

I believe in second chances, some days everyone is off a little. We had a so so visit the last time we came here but, last night we (my wife and I) were thinking Tex-Mex for dinner and decided to try Texas Taco again. The results were a huge improvement from the last time we visited. The service was as good, if not even a little better however, the food quality improved significantly. We ordered the nachos and cheese as a quick app and I also ordered the Texas Chili. For our dinner we had the Texas Taco trio and the Cowboy Taco Trio. The trio's were both very eye appealing and tasty. My wife only ate 2 of her Cowboy taco's, so I gladly ate the third and to be honest found it the better of the two types we ordered. Their homemade tortilla chips were crisp and both the salsa and melted cheeses were great additives. My only criticism is that the Texas Chili, although having some great flavors; was more watery then a chili ought to be. But not so much that I wouldn't come back again and give it another shot.

We're locals and have been here three times previous and each time I said maybe it'll be better next. Well...not really. The place is very clean and the staff extremely friendly and helpful . . . however, to be honest there are a lot better 'taco' resturants close by and to be honest, the brisket is comparable to a touch above fast food. As they say in baseball, three strikes and your out..we even gave you a foul tip pass. Time for a new batter.

A Cinco DeMayo and Everyday Treat Close to Home!

We love Texas Taco! The service is warm and friendly and the food is fresh and tasty! It is similar to Chipolte and Moes but more of a fresh, personal touch. They take special orders and we love their Burritos and Nachos. Super big and stuffed to the brim!!! They are willing to accommodate special requests too. Their prices are reasonable and if you eat there often, they offer a repeat customer discount ($5 off after 5 visits) which I really really like. I have emailed them a couple of times and they responded promptly, warmly and made me feel like my business and satisfaction was important. They really want to make their costumers happy. I love the small town feel to it and would chose them over the big chains any day! Oh, a bit of advice, if you are getting the nachos, ask for the chips on the side so they don't get soggy! Enjoy!

yuck yuck yuck. I tried three times and three strikes your out. Gross texas/taco food. However I have heard to buffalo wings are good...haven't tried yet. No one is ever in this place which shows its popularity.

Texas Taco in Deer Park - Awesome Food

Have been to Texas Taco (at the Deer Park location) several times. Food is fresh and so delicious. Love the taco bowls, shrimp tacos and steak tacos. Food melts in your mouth. The guacomole is so good however they charge you more for the chips. I think that is ridiculous. There are so many taco places popping up but this one is one of my favorites.

My husband and I got breakfast burritos to go and I was shocked at how big they were. Staff was very nice. The food was tasty and filling. I had leftovers for lunch the next day.

Delicious Mexican food that's fast but not fast food

Terrific fresh eats Highly recommend Cowboy trio soft taco Salad wrap w/ roasted chicken Guacamole Staff is super friendly and while this in no way can be considered fast food...it is made surprisingly quick. Love this place!!!

Place is fairly new. I have been there several times and have tried the tacos, salads and burittos. Clean, service is good and friendly. Just nothing special about the food. the food lacks the flavor and bite of a good Mexican place .

Average food, average prices

I've ordered take-out here around three times, and each time, I've been unimpressed. The portions are on the smaller side, the prices aren't that good, and the food is average. I much prefer the food at Green Cactus, and am willing to drive a little further to pick it up there, even though Texas Taco is much closer to my house.

Great mexican, large portions, good value

I Had a couple of tacos here and was very impressed. They have a lot of choices of meats and toppings and the food comes out fast. It's great for a quick bite , but its not meant to be a sit down meal type of place. Very good size portions and tasty food. Delicious mexican sodas too. Also was very clean and well kept.

Nice place for a quick bite

We stopped in for a quick lunch and were not disappointed. I had the 3 soft tacos plate with brisket, peppers and onions that comes with a chipotle sauce. My wife had the black bean vegetarian chili. It was all very tasty and reasonably priced. We would definetly go back when in town again.
