I surprised my fiance with a weekend getaway to Saratoga Springs and the Lake George area. I can't recall where or what I read about 15 Church that prompted me to make a dinner reservation for the patio but boy am I glad that I did! Let's start with atmosphere and ambiance: the patio is covered and there are heat lamps, the vibe is lively, and the music (which was excellent by the way, mainly pop and R&B) is loud, but not too loud that you can't hear your dinner companions, and lastly, they are observing all COVID-19 guidelines. Tables are spaced out and each table had a bottle of hand saniziter on it. I also saw staff members sanitizing tables and chairs whenever a party would leave a table. The service was more than attentive, throughout the course of 2 hours we spent dining here, multiple servers came by to pour our wine, or to simply check in to see if there was anything we needed. Now, on to the good stuff-FOOD. Simply put, the meal was phenomenal. I am vegetarian so I chose the pasta pomodoro with a side of asparagus. The pasta pomodoro is served with burrata right in the center of the dish and it was to die for. The contrast of the cold burrata with the hot pasta was amazing. My fiance had the filet mignon with a side of truffle fries and while he usually does not prefer this cut of meat, the said he was the best filet mignon he'd ever had and was cooked to perfection. The bread that is brough out at the beginning of the meal tastes like it came straight from heaven. It is garlicky, buttery, warm, cheesy goodness and it took everything in me not to fill up on it prior to the entrees arriving. After entrees, sides, wine, and bread we were pretty stuff but still decided to do dessert. We ordered the strawberry shortcake and it was soooooo good. Yes, this restaurant is on the pricier side, entrees are ~30+ but the portion size and quality of the food/ingredients more than matches the price point. We live in NYC and are trying to find an excuse to visit Saratoga Springs again this fall just to dine at 15 Church again!

My dining experience was fine, although after hearing rave reviews for years, I was expecting better. The food was excellent, tasty and well-prepared. The service mostly fine, and the atmosphere while buzzy and hipsterish was not overly noisy or intrusive. But, for me, somehow the overall experience doesn't live up to the hype. At over $100/person I prefer better pacing of the food and more attentiveness from the staff.

Food is excellent and perfectly presented. Menu is somewhat limited but really has enough to satisfy a wide variety of tastes. The wine list by the glass & bottle includes a good variety and is reasonably priced. Entrees are pricey and portions are on the small side, but perfectly prepared. The venue is small, but with COVID social distancing was comfortable. I imagine it would feel quite cramped under normal conditions. Reservations are strongly recommended.

We were so excited to finally go out for dinner after three difficult months at home. We chose one of our favorite restaurants...15 Church. We should have waited longer. First of all, the prices on everything skyrocketed. Sea bass now $50. My special, New Zealand veal chops, a whopping $69. All appetizers up 10 to 20 percent. Talk about trying to make up lost income on the shoulders of their loyal customers. And for some reason, they felt that serving bread wasn’t necessary. They claimed that the bakery they used down in the City, wasn’t open yet. Really?? You couldn’t find one of the many excellent bakeries in our area to buy bread? As all foodies know, awesome bread sets the stage for what is to come. Service remained excellent but with these outrageous prices and lack of detail, we will give 15 Church a rest.

My wife and I were in Saratoga Springs for her birthday and went to 15 Church to celebrate. We were blown away! The service was amazing and the food was even better. My wife is a Celiac and upon learning of this, the chef came out to see if he could make gluten-free potato chips for her since she couldn't eat the bread. We've never experienced that kind of service before. The service and food were so good my wife actually cried with joy. On our way out we made reservations three months in advance for the next time we are in Saratoga. I know they get great reviews, but they far exceeded our expectations.

Bustling cheerful restaurant. Like a family visit if your family includes master chefs, the portions are generous and impossibly delicious, you are the favorite family member, and you don't have to wash the dishes!. We celebrated a birthday and felt cossetted & celebrated from the moment we walked in. Robert, our waiter was kind & efficient, and we walked out with food for the next two days. Grilled octopus, scallops, iceberg salad, rabbit pasta, brussel sprouts, zeppoli, and a luscious little birthday surprise, all top notch. Where can you get rabbit these days!

This is a must for any foodie who visits Saratoga. The top chef is from Trieste, Italy, and he runs a tight ship of talented chefs and kitchen/wait staff. I don’t usually order raw oysters in the US because of the sloppy way they are usually opened. Here the oysters are impeccable. Go straight from appetizers into dessert to ensure you have room for the heavenly Lemon Tart with Strawberry Coulis. It is actually more like a lemon pillow than a tart; that’s how light it is.

I consider myself to be phenomenal cook and I am not easily WOWED by eating out. I EAT my words at 15 Church! First time visit for my 40 something birthday with my Husband and two teenage daughters. From our arrival to our departure it was a perfect evening. It started with our waiter/entertainer, Robert who made our evening as it was perfectly designed for us. He was funny, personable, kind and generous in spirit . The entire staff was engaging and charming. Impeccable timing from our cocktails to dessert with every morsel of food we tasted seemingly better than the first. All beautifully seasoned and plated. Save room for dessert and when planning your next celebration or night out make this your spot. You will be WOWED!

Just came here without a reservation after a wake nearby. We had our toddler with us and I called the restaurant after searching online for places to eat in the area. The lady on the phone offered me a booth to make it easy for us with the baby which was great! As soon as we arrived we were made to feel super welcome by the waiting staff and especially one who got us a quick order of complimentary truffle fries for our toddler while we were waiting to order! The food is high end quality, I had the miso seabass and my partner had the veal. Both were delicious. The portions were generous, the menu describes small plates and bigger plates, we chose a bigger meal. We also ordered a bottle of Prosecco which was half price for some odd reason making the meal a little cheaper which is always a bonus ! The restaurant itself has a warm ambience and even though it was busy, the staff are attentive and we were not waiting too long for our meals. Thank you for a lovely evening !

We had dinner here on a chilly Thursday night in August We were seated indoors and were very happy to see how covid compliant everything was. We ordered appetizers and meals from the regular menu and the specials and everything was delicious ! The Chilean sea bass and the fish had so much flavor. The portions were much larger than we expected as well. We couldn’t decide on dessert so had the zeppole and affogato which were superb! Our server Ben was very attentive! The Sancerre was delicious

I've eaten at a number of the local restaurants in Saratoga. 15 Church is the best yet.
We started with an appetizer of the ricotta gnocchi amazing. The serving was plentiful, the gnocchi was freshly made in their kitchen with a wonderful Bolognese sauce. My wife had the chicken under a brick which was crispy and tender. The chicken is served over a bed of mushrooms, fingerling potatoes and greens with a white wine sauce, delicious. I had the filet which was served on a bed of salted spinach and covered with an incredible cheese sauce. If you're looking for a dinner that won't disappoint this is the place!

Terrific meal tonight. Reviews said that the Chilean Sea Bass was not to be missed, and they were correct. What a terrific dish. The bass piece was huge and perfectly cooked. The sauce was spot on, and the bed of bok choy and mushrooms provided a perfect compliment. Also, they had a very nice French Chablis available by the glass, which paired very well with the bass and the oysters I had as an appetizer. Top notch place.

We ate on the outdoor patio on a saturday night- we were seated immediately for a 9:30 reservation. The bread that came out first was quite tasty, although its the kind of bread you find out you paid for when the bill comes but it was worth it. The appetizers were all fantastic. The Gnocchi is a must. the dumplings were loaded with taste. Even the lettuce wedge was much better than we are used to. The fried green tomatoes were also the best i've had. Two of us got the pork chop which was the best i've had in years, huge, perfectly cooked with lots of flavors. This was honestly one of the best dining experiences i've had in a very long time and can't wait to return on our next trip to Saratoga

My fiance and I (in our early 30s, from NJ) ate at 15 Church this past Friday. I started with the compressed watermelon salad- very good and unique. It was a great recommendation by our waiter, Mike. I had 3 of the 15 Church drink specials because they were fabulous! Didn't taste like alcohol but got the job done :) We had to ask for bread (due to covid they aren't bringing bread to tables preemptively).
For main courses, my fiance got the pasta pomodoro, which he said was very good, no complaints. He also got the broccoli rabe side which was a bit dry. I had the fish special (fluke with lobster over rice with a butter sauce). The fluke was pretty dry so I was happy I had the butter sauce and rice to compensate. We finished with the zeppoles and they were to die for. Omg, so goooooood.
Pros: food and service
Con: pricey
If you're looking for a good atmosphere, I would say to sit on the Patio!! We made the mistake of sitting inside which did not have as lively of an atmosphere.
2nd best restaurant we went to during our long weekend in Saratoga

First off, the food is very good and they have a decent wine list. I waited a day to write a review because I needed to calm down. I perfectly understand that the 40 days of racing is a busy time. We made a reservation a month in advance and we were told at the time that we had to be done in 2 hours. No problem. Then when they confirmed the reservation, same statement. When we got there and checked in, same statement. We were not completely seated before they wanted our drink order and start telling us the specials. They were back every 2 minutes asking for our order. We got our food about 30 minutes after sitting down (did not order drinks or appetizers in fear we would not have time.) but we did have a bottle of wine for the 4 of us with dinner. Exactly 8 minutes after our food arrived someone came by every 4 minutes asking if they could clear out plates. At one hour in, it got worse. We rushed to finish and was out in an hour and half. We all felt sick and our nerves were rattled by the harassment of the staff. We will never return. Very disappointed as we loved the ambience and the food.
