My favorite lunch spot in Saratoga. Located right down town. Fresh ingredients, all the deli meats are cooked in house. Staff is super friendly. They have great art on the walls fron local artists and some retro arcade games that are free to play.

Service was fantastic!! The folks making our food and serving us were so nice & helpful. The food was delicious too, we had a sandwich, coleslaw (which was AWESOME), pickles, chips and drinks. The pickle was the only not great thing (but I may be...picky).More

We happened by this deli on our way home. Decided to investigate and picked up a hot brisket on rye with brown mustard, pickle and slaw. Service was great, $16.00 sandwich which we shared and they were so nice to split the sandwich and package...it in two separate containers to go. DELICIOUS! So glad we happened on it since it's off the beaten path (Broadway) so easily missed. A hidden gem really. Yummy.More

The clerk mocked my order as the simplest sandwich he has ever taken. Then my order was WRONG! And when I spoken to him about the problem, I was told, "It didn't kill you, You survived" I did survive, but I will never stop to...eat there again. And I realize, he won't care, but maybe I will keep one customer a week from eating there.More

Found this place by mistake and turned out great . Lunch is very good, especially if you like New York Jewish style food. Sandwiches are big and very tasty

Not only did they have real KETTLE BOILED bagels which are scarce upstate for some weird reason as this is the proper way to make a bagel because they come out with a crispy crust. How do I know this? My father was head of...the Brooklyn Bagel Baker Unions in the 20's! I grew up having a history and a dad in the business, I took bagel sandwiches to school dreaming of just bread. NOW... I miss the real thing! OTHER bagels UPSTATE which are not boiled first taste doughy, cake like. In addition, they have delicious white fish salad, lox, pastrami and knishes. Not everything downstate offers because very few people 'up here' order delicious ethnic food, which is a shame. Great place, and thrilled we found it. The owner a friendly, hard working person and his restaurant deserves a 5 star review.More

Don't bother, nasty owner who thinks they can do no wrong when actually they do very little right. I will not go back.

Under staffed. Accepting only cash due to IT problems. Same person answering phone handling cash and preparing food. No hair net for employee with long hair. No milk for my coffee!

We saw the sign down the ally/sidewalk off Broadway (near the chocolate candy place). The staff and owner were super nice. Then they went to work to make great sandwich’s. Pastrami on rye etc was so tasty and tender. Rueben was also great. Comfortable atmosphere....We are in and felt very comfortable but there are outdoors tables. Want to try more of the menu since our first meal was so tasty. Look for the sign.More

I did NOT go to the restaurant but a friend sent breakfast to our house........delicious NYC bagels (not like the "hub caps" you typically get in 'toga,) latkes like Mom used to make, the best knishes I have ever had, and the comforting nourishment of...matzoh ball soup. REAL NYC comfort food! Based on the homemade quality of the food I've tasted I will be walking over to try the pastrami.........I just hope they have some deli pickles!More

Stumbled on the sign that lured me in “Brooklyn Bagels” being from Brooklyn there is so much I miss about them. I went in and was treated by the really nice owner and his crew and I am so overjoyed that I took the bagels...and Halah Bread home. Bagels were gone in an instant, they truly are Brooklyn Bagels . I will be back!More

The reuben was very good, pastrami with slaw was okay. Bread was fresh and toasted perfectly. Note that there is no customer service after your order is placed. If eating in, your food is given in a plastic basket - everything else is disposable. They...close at 4pm. If you are in the area and yearning for NY deli food, this deli is worth the trip; the price point is just okay. Spent about $28 on two sandwiches and drinks. To us, it feels like if sandwiches were 50 cents more, it would be pushing it. In Philadelphia? You MUST try to get to Hershels in Reading Terminal Market. Sandwiches are $3.50 more but are huge, piping hot fresh (cut in front of you) and shareable.More

Nice selection/menu. Prices were around $11.00 for most sandwiches. Staff was nice, even came around and asked how your meal was. I got a hot roast beef sandwich and my husband got a chicken panini. Roast beef was a little tough, but delicious. Large portions

Walking briskly anyone could pass this deli without even noticing because it's on the side of Broadway. We had a light lunch around 12:30 so there were some empty tables and we received our food promptly. My husband really savored his pastrami sandwich on rye....My Caesar salad was nicely sized and fresh. The paintings on the wall add a little character to the cozy atmosphere. Looking forward to another visit!More

A kosher style deli that was very good. I had a cold tongue sandwich which I haven't had in years and it was excellent. My wife had the matzah ball soup and half pastrami sandwich and really enjoyed both. They also have fresh bagels. Only...downside is that they are located in an alley off the main Street. Highly recommend. Rating... excellent.More
