We go to Morton’s quite regularly and have always had a wonderful meal. We love the ambiance and service is always impeccable. Adam, the mgr., honors our requests for our favorite booth and waitress Chelsy. He does an outstanding job managing the restaurant . We...look forward to celebrating our 39 th anniversary there In April!More

Morton’s is pricey- we were prepared for that when we arrived. What I wasn’t prepare for was to be taken advantage of. Both my friend and I ordered the Filet and Lobster tail, listed in the menu for $62. Pointed at the selection. The server...(bartender) asked what size filet we wanted. Since there were only 2 options on the menu, we reluctantly chose the smaller of the two (8oz). The food came and we ate. I finished less than half my filet since I don’t eat much. If there had been a smaller size, I would have ordered. Then comes the bill when we were charged separately for both (total of $80ish dollars for each of us) and when we asked, the bartender said we would have had to order the 6oz to get the price before we even asked the full question, so she knew what she was doing. When I said that wasn’t an option on the menu so we would have known since I wouldn’t have gotten an 8oz otherwise, she shrugged and said “it used to be”. No resolution or suggestion or even slight apology. Then as we left, we saw the couple beside us receive menus- with a specials menu on top for a special pricing for steak and lobster, which we did not receive. I feel slightly targeted and extremely disappointed. We won’t be back.More

The desk clerks at the hotel gave us a flyer with a dinner deal for $79 pp. In true Morton's fashion. our meals were excellent. However the service was slow and we didn't see our server very much.

We dine out frequently & have no problem dropping $100 pp at a great place. Morton’s Saratoga simply lacks the “IT” factor. The menu lacks any sort of innovation or intrigue. Just a “Ho-hum” offering. 4 ppl - 2 apps- 5 drinks- 4 entrees -...one dessert - 1 coffee ….. $540 with tip Callie our server was very good. Friendly, light hearted, not pretentious & attentive. Honestly the best part of the experience. Drinks were all fresh & delicious. Apps were super skimpy. Grilled Oysters $19 were 4 per order & the smallest oysters I’ve ever seen. Tasted fine but honestly - smallest oysters ever. Crab cake App $25 - again skimpy. One crab cake slightly bigger than a golf ball- couldn’t be more than 2oz. Tase was good but super skimpy. 25 minutes for appetizer delivery- another 35 minutes fir entrees. Slow service. We expect the steaks to be expensive & they are. 16oz Prime Ribeye $66. We expect the steaks to be good & they were. Ribeye was slightly undercooked but it was “Good” for a Prime steak. Salmon special $40 was nicely presented & decent portion maybe 6+ ounces. Filet & lobster $66 - filet was told to be 6oz but seemed closer to 4 oz. Lobster tail was decent 5-6oz. Food was all “ Good” - but not a single item gave us a cause to rave about it. This place is LOUD. Honestly uncomfortably so. Tables are small & crammed in together. Upscale steak houses are typically opulent & spacious… not here. Super dark & hard to read the menus- font is very small. I asked for a scotch menu & honestly the font was so small I returned the menu without a purchase because none of us at the table could read what it said. EVERY table around us was reading the menu using their phone lights…. You just shouldn’t have to do that. Largest portion for the Monet was the $19 brownie sundae. Again, “good” but so damn ordinary. The four of us split it & it was plenty. My coffee $4.50 was cold. We really expected some “hi lights “ from a place like Morton’s- the most memorable thing about the meal was how we all discussed not wanting to return. For what it’s supposed to be, this place comes up short. It’s just “MEH!”More

Attentive service. Food was good, but not spectacular as is touted. My husband and I ordered the beef filet. Both were served more well done than requested... a major no no for a steak house. Presentation is non existent. All sides are extra, but what...our table ordered were tasty. We were there on a Saturday night. The room was filled, very noisy, and dimly lit. We had to use the flashlights on our phones to read the menus.More

Good food and service, but sliding down a bit. Expectations are justifiably high for any Morton's. Nothing to complain about for sure, but I do expect any chef here to be fully aware of how to season meat at a steak house with a great...name. It was a tad bland, not what I'd demand from Morton's. As always, service was great.More

My family planned an 80th birthday celebration dinner for me. The atmosphere was festive , but very noisy! Menus had to be read with flashlights on cell phones. My husband and I both ordered the smaller filet. Neither were cooked as ordered. I was surprised...by the presentation .... a lone filet on a platter, not even a hint of a garnish. The other members of the party were very satisfied with their beef. The bacon wrapped scallops were well received. Side dishes were enjoyable. The birthday sundae was delicious and enjoyed by all. Our main server was very personable.More

So they sit my wife and I at a table in the main dining room. Fifteen minutes later, still no waiter, no menu, no bar menu. Once I complained, Frank, the manager, came over and apologized profusely , offered drinks on the house and gave...us I’m sure the best waiter they had. That shows a lot of class on Frank’s part. Everything from there was absolutely awesome. We both got their ongoing special, the filet and seafood special. It starts with the biggest sized shrimp cocktail we’ve seen…super fresh and crisp with a zippy cocktail sauce. Our filets cut like butter. Delicious and meaty crab cake and a nice sized lobster tail. The sides were spectacular….Brussel sprouts with onion and bacon, a huge lobster Mac and cheese and their famous Parmesan thin cut fries. Even though we were stuffed, the special came with dessert. We both got their Morton’s hot chocolate cake….what an incredible way to end our dinner. Service was just amazing ( yes, once we got a waiter), ambiance was classy and food hot and delicious. We can’t wait to go back.More

Four friends went to Restaurant Week last night. The service was good but the food was not. We all ordered lobster bisque which was one step away from being completely cold and had no lobster. We were then served an entire large loaf of bread...that was uncut and had no bread knife we could use to cut it. We all ordered fillets which were so overpowered by salt that we could hardly eat them. The mashed potatoes which were basically tasteless were served separately and again, were inundated with an over abundance of salt. Dessert was cheesecake with a raspberry drizzle which honestly was the only thing that was good. Coffee was $4.50 a cup - ridiculous ! We all said we should have sent our dinners back at the end of our meal. It was a very disappointing night which was not our expectation at a place like Morton’s.More

After so many years have tried the Morton in singapore. First time to try this in usa at Saratoga spring, NY. Nice ambience with attentive service staff as usual. Wine selection over wide range to choose from but not cheap! Ordered the oyster and crab...cake as appetizer. Oyster less briny as I like but the crab cake stays great as before. Dipping with the spicy sauce made yummy. The disappointment comes to the pork chop as I asked how can they prepare a thick pork chop, and I said I worry the doneness in the past that’s too dry inside due to overly cook. I asked for medium rare with pink inside. However the meat came too dry and I have hard time to finish it. The side order of mushroom and spinach goes well with meat. The potatoes cheese definitely will fill you up for sure !More

Two other couples joined my wife and I this past Saturday night for what was truly a disappointing evening. First of all, our waiter was literally clueless. He asked us at least three times for details on how we wanted our steaks AND STILL, he...screwed it up. Add to that, the misinformation on the dinners themselves. He told the table that the filet and lobster tail dinner consisted of a six ounce filet and between a 6 to 8 ounce lobster tail. WRONG…on all points. Our filets were barely maybe 4 ounces ( with zero seasoning) and the lobster tail was the smallest piece of lobster meat we have ever seen ( maybe 3 ounces???) . Unfortunately, based on what our waiter told us, four out of six of us, ordered this dinner. For a whopping $69, this was truly a joke. Just in case you don’t know, everything is extra. Our plates were so pathetic looking when they came out. This so called high end restaurant does absolutely nothing special for their guests. Our bread was stale ( of course you only get butter…no olive oil or pesto). Our corona beers came with no limes. You can only split certain salads and everything needs additional dressings. Honestly, we skipped dessert because we were already there for 2 1/2 hours experiencing the worst service imaginable. There are so many fine restaurants in Saratoga….do yourself a favor and avoid this casino trap.More

The food was very good. The service was fine. However, the restaurant was so loud we couldn’t carry on any conversation. It was louder than a sports bar during a football game. The manager was completely unresponsive when we complained. The restaurant was crowed, so...there wasn’t much he could do. I wish we had known. We never would have gone there. We never will again.More

I am not sure however a $40.00 dinner at Morton`s is a great deal and I will be looking into that myself. The food and service are beyond five stars and if you can get that for forty dollars you hit the trifecta.
