We went for Sunday brunch and ate in the beer garden outside under a tent in perfect weather on our anniversary. The staff was so nice and wished us a happy anniversary. They welcomed us and our dog with open arms. They gave great suggestions...and everything is homemade. I had the best lobster roll ever. The beet salad is amazing. The pretzel great. The chicken was loved by all. But the best of the best is the apple strudel with the cinnamon ice cream. All made in house in delicious. Even the drinks were great. Get an iced coffee. all the servers were so attentive and kind. They really appreciated your business and gave top service. So grateful.More

An amazing find just before Hunter Mountain! A contemporary take on taking traditional German and Alpine cuisine to the next level. Impressive food presentations along with impeccable, personalized attentive service with a smile. Rachael and Nikki our servers were attentive, courteous and non intrusive. Owner...Kim McGalliard has created a must go to culinary experience. Besides the amazing cuisine, check out the beer selection and their unique boutique wine list. Plus an amazing craft cocktail selection to enhance your meal experience. It’s one of our favorites in Hunter, NYMore

The schnitzel was outstanding, several German side dishes to choose from, good selection of German beers, and terrific service. All that made for a very enjoyable dinner and we would certainly go back!

After a long morning hike, nothing beats a cold beer, hearty onion soup, and a chicken schnitzel sandwich. This place has great vibes and service. Our waitresses were so lovely and accommodating. Highly recommend!

We went to this restaurant for a relaxing dinner. Overall it was a great experience. We recommend the schnitzel. Really tasty and big portion! We also tried the charcuterie plate and the pretzel. The pretzel is really fresh and served warm. Large selection of beer...as you would expect for a German restaurant. Recommend giving it a try. Make a reservation!More

Stopped in for lunch after skiing Hunter in the morning. Had beer flights, the Chicken Schnitz-Wich and the Burger. Food was excellent! Great flavor. A must stop when you’re in Hunter!

when we arrived we learned the regular menu was changed for a pre-fix. The food was fine but it was not worth the price. Also, some how we must have had a rookie waiter who came back to us a few times on what we...ordered. We then lost him to the lower floor. It created some confusion and delay in getting our food. I would consider may be coming back on their regular menuMore

Wish Jagerberg did not change their menu to "Price Fix" recently...Very limited and pricey especially if the choices do not jump off the menu...Get the pretzel...Staff is working VERY HARD to offset the Covid debacle...Need to work on the food.

Jaegerberg is doing Lobster Night on Monday’s all Summer with a generous 1.5 lb lobster and delicious sides for an affordable $35. Stop in, say hi to Kim and Chef Flanagan and enjoy. Plenty of new great outdoor seating in the meadow!

Our group of 8 had an opportunity to meet here for dinner in Dec 2019. You must make a reservation if you come at peak times (during ski season or in summer months). The restaurant can accommodate large groups which sit at long tables. Our...waiter was very patient as he took the order of all 8 of us. I'm not a beer drinker myself, but most of the others in our party are and the beer selection is quite nice. I opted for a glass of white wine which was fine. Jagerberg has lots of great German cuisine choices - and all are good. Really fun place but it gets loud too.More

Kim, the owner, is offering reasonable, delicious and nutritious family sized meals on Fridays. Last nights dinner included ample servings for four tender beef kabobs and excellent shrimp kabobs. All with “dirty” rice.Meals can be picked up at restaurant or in Westkill. She is also...offering a wide array of groceries. Meals and groceries can be ordered on the Jagerberg website. Kim is doing our community a great service.More

The food is fantastic. You can tell everything is prepared by hand with an eye toward quality ingredients. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we had, especially the liverwurst pate (with pickled beets) and wurstz platter. One warning - the service was extremely slow. Not sure if...it was our server because when we asked another server for items they arrived much quicker, but we waited a while for each course. We ended up being there for almost two hours (three courses). So, definitely go but don't be in a rush!More
