The place was dimly lit bordering on being too dark. We went there around 5:40pm for an early dinner, so we were the only one's there. We ordered the ravioli and a pizza. The ravioli was pretty good but the pizza lacked taste... The servers...were very friendly and accommodating so that was a plus.More

Nice outdoor L'fresco area and the restaurant is quite good, ambience is nice inside. Service is not great, but ok part of the time. First we ordered bruschetta and were served just garlic bread. I ordered like a sliced 'Australian beef' in sauce and I...asked to add mushrooms (normally referred to as veal scollapini el'fungi). I inquired about the type of vegetables but was informed that they had none.... was offered mashed potatoe. What was served was clearly not Aussie beef but local meat. Even finely cut it was a bit tough. Mushrooms had obviously come from a can. The sauce was quite tasty, but texture gluey. What killed it was the presentation of the potatoe... Laying flat and glossy looking appeared like raw dough going in to be baked. And the lack of vegetable colours was obvious. The whole meal sat flat on the plate, not served tall and petite perhaps with some asparagus and whole roast mushrooms or tomatoes, like an Italian would do it. My wife's meal was similarly average.. Like we had gone to nanas for dinner. I think what this Italian resto is missing is Italians!More

If you've had an exhausting day, craving Italian food and you want to dine in a nice, quiet place with a good ambiance, this is the place to be. It is also a good place to go on dates or have a nice dinner with...family or some friends. Their pasta is really good.More

A Tavola has some really nice Italian food but the price is a bit on the steep side and the service can be spotty. The waiter we had was unable to explain several items on the menu and had to repeatedly run back to the...chef to ask what the ingredients were. The bread that was served with our meal was on the stale side not what you would expect and the Paninii was not a Panini. It was just a regular bread roll. The eggplant parmigian was spot on.More

A Tavola has moved from it's location near Royal Duty Free to behind the Subic Venezia Hotel. It's new location is a great place with the same great food. It's a nicely appointed restaurant with a nice Italian charm. Great staff compliment a great menu....My food was served hot and tasted great. The portion size was adequate. Take out and delivery available. Be sure to try the Rigatoni Parmisian, it was terriffic.More

Quaint place to dine in. They serve great Italian dishes in SBMA area. A bit pricey but worthy of your visit.

Pizza Bianca is very special. Different kinds of cheese mixed very well with crispy dough. If you ask some honey for change and have with it. So good! Their salad menu is not so satisfied. Not fresh and not enough vegetable ....

My first time to ate from Italian restaurant. Some kind of cozy place for me. I've been there at A Tavola when it's still located at their old address near at Royal Duty Free. Foods are good. I enjoy it.

I still remembered this restaurant from the time the original owner was running it in Barrio Barreto and then later on in the free port area near the duty free. It used to be simple but genuine Italian food and I was really disappointed to...see how to it has been let go down the drain lately. The pizza margherita was weird to say the least (it had a strange cheese resembling goat cheese instead of mozzarella and a very acidic tomato), the Milanese chicken was fried in a strikingly low quality oil which must have been re-used many times, the salad was tasteless, the bread was a strange type of hollow flakes, the glass of house red wine was small, sweetish and plain awful considering it costed Php 170. The only passable thing was the the rigatoni alla parmigiana, although nothing to write home about. The atmosphere was also a bit sad and impersonal. We were planning to go there every meal during our 3 day stay but ended up going only once, considering... As a matter I would have given it a lower rating if it wasn't for the nice memories. Unfortunately there are no decent Italian restaurants in Subic any more. What a pity for this one.More
