Myleen's Restaurant and Café serves International foods with Italian, Mexican, and Filipino specialties. We are located at 56 National Highway in Barretto, Olongapo City, Philippines. We have a unique, cozy, and quiet environment to enjoy a meal or drink; or stop by and have a cup of coffee over a game of Chess. Our walls have hand-painted bamboo murals and are decorated with birds and butterflies. We have two air-cons and several fans that keep Myleen's temperature cool. We serve authentic Italian food -including homemade ravioli and lasagna. We also serve authentic Mexican food, American comfort foods, and some of the best Filipino food in town. Reservations are available but not required. Parking is available behind the building-ask for assistance. Myleen's provides a clean, quiet, cozy, family-friendly environment.

Each serving can be shared with a person but once you taste it, you don't want to share! Hahahaha! Since the food is freshly made, especially the pizza, please expect around 20 -30 minutes waiting time.

Another great family dinner. The kids shared the pork steak. I enjoyed the Penne Arrabbiata. Great flavor with some heat to it. My wife tried to finish the chicken parm but only got half way finished when the pizza came out. Best pizza in Barretto for sure. Service was excellent as usual.
Besides the food at Myleens, I like the fact that I can enjoy my meal in a quiet environment. The other night a very rude lady was asked by the waitress and then the owner to turn down her cell phone as she was ruining dinner for everyone there. She was having none of it and not only refused to turn down her phone, she was rude and belligerent to everyone. As she was leaving, the owner explained nicely to her that she is welcome to come back but please respect the other customers and not play loud videos. She said she wasn't coming back and she would post about her "horrible experience". Thank You to the owner for trying keep her from ruining everyone else's dinner experience.

An absolute lovely place to eat. Great attentive service from Evelyn from the start, wonderful ambiance, notices on the wall regarding noise from mobile phones, a great menu and very fair prices. I had the Yellowfin tuna and my GF had the fish & chips. Both meals were superb. I would 100% recommend this place and look forward to visiting there again soon.

This place is really special.
I stepped off a normal chaotic Filipino street into a peace and quiet that's rare in the Philippines.
I had three excellent meals here, listening to quiet music that put me in a good mood.
The staff are really great too; especially Roz who looked after me first.

Authentic tasting Mexican food is a rarity in the Philippines but at Mayleens its spot on, perfect. The waitresss are so friendly and happy you can't help but get to smiling yourself. Everyone there is awesome, especially Eve, kudos to all of you and the wonderful dining experience.

I stayed in Olongapo for three and a half weeks, during this time I ate at my hotel and various other places and found that "Myleen's Cafe" provided uncompromising service and food quality! I ate everything from breakfast to dinner there and it far surpassed the Central Park Reef hotels kitchen which was substandard on a good day. I enjoyed the Mexican dishes with home made tortilla's and salsa and the many Filipino dishes offered and a few of the Italian one's. They make the best spicy Spanish rice I have ever eaten. I really loved the service provided by the attentive wait staff and the warm greeting provided on every entry. I can definitely recommend this restaurant to those who want quality food prepared only when ordered (not sitting under a heat lamp). Finally I found the amount of the servings to be very generous for the price.

Been about 2 years since my last visit. I said back then that the next time i go I will be trying the much talked about Mexican menu. I walked in and low and behold Robert, the owner, and his wife, the master chef, were sitting at the table closest to the kitchen. Like before i reintroduced myself and asked for his recommendation for Mexican. They suggested a few dishes and i chose the Birria Taco Plate. I asked about a soup recommendation and he suggested the 15 bean soup. Being a bit of a foodie (aren't we all) we chatted about Barretto and Subic restaurants. it was great conversation and i now know a few more places to hit up. During our conversation i noticed the restaurant filled up quickly.
The soup came and it was very hardy and delicious. An excellent appetizer. The beef tacos that followed were cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The side dishes of refried beans and rice were a great compliment as was the consume and home made Mexican sauces. A 5 star dinner and experience.. And by the way the service was as good as the food.

I returned to the Philippines in January of 2024 as you do yearly. Vacation there means a return to Myleen's Cafe which is always a treat! I have spent a lot of time going to many of the restaurants in the Olongapo area and specifically the Barreto beach area and have found a few good restaurant's there. My favorite is Myleen's Cafe! I have yet to have a dish there that I didn't like. I recently had the chicken parm and it was amazing! I am usually a Mexican food eater at that location and decided to try some of the other menu items and found all of them excellent. I had a majority of the Filipino dishes and found the sisig amazing and my favorite. I also enjoyed all of the Italian food that I tried on menu. I had breakfast there most mornings and found the skillets are both ample and taste great! I will say there are some good restaurants in the area but I cant say the consistency is there in quality and taste as it is with Myleens Cafe. They also make their on sauces (Roja and Verde) and they are great! The wait staff is courteous and makes your experience very enjoyable!

The food is superb. My husband and I loved the food. Btw, We ordered Beef Kare-Kare and Liempo, both are 10/10, for main course and Quesadilla sobrang sarap, served as appetizer. The Staff who assist us during our lunch, Ms. Shiela was very accommodating and polite. Other staff too are very approachable. I do Highly Recommend this place.

This was my first time at Myleens, I came with my Fiance after searching for somewhere to eat dinner. The ambiance is the first thing you notice, it is very tranquil and they have lovely music playing. We were immediately greeted by the waitress and given a pitcher of water. I ordered the Chong Burritos which were so good that I ordered a second serving to take with me. Even with 3 full entrees the bill was less than 1000 pesos. Excellent service, excellent ambiance, excellent food and excellent prices.

Great little restaurant, good menu . Excellent Spaghetti Bolognaise , however they make the mistake of offering one Parmesan cheese for an extra p20. I have never been in a restaurant where this has happened. If they want to charge for it , include it in the overall price,

Concerning the Parmesan cheese, we have talked to customers about charging for Parmesan cheese, and most agreed that we should charge because some people don't want it, so they should not be charged more so that customers like you can have it at no extra charge. You are probably aware that prices for cheese and most other items are rising fast. This is our attempt to keep the cost down as much as possible. Thank you for the review. We went to subic for our honeymoon and decided to try the local cuisines for our last night and we regret not choosing this restaurant in our first day. Very approachable staff and i also like the vibe of the restaurant. They also have a reasonable price for every dish they have. The food we order was great and we wish we could have another opportunity to try some of their menus. Kudos to the hands-on owners you guys are great.

Myleen’s restaurant, located in the heart of Barrio Barretto (on the outskirts of Olongapo City), is my go-to place for dinner pretty much every night. Very good food, reasonably priced. Environment is intimate, quiet and inviting and the staff is friendly and helpful. It’s pretty amazing to me that there are so many options on the menu for such as small staff to handle but they make it work.
I mostly phone in orders for delivery which typically arrives within 30 minutes. One new thing to highlight is the fact that recently rolled out a very tasty Beef Stew (pretty close to Mom’s recipe) which is one long-standing favorite that I haven’t been able to find around here… anywhere.
Highly recommended.

Was impressed with my first meal so I went back again and then again. Really was looking forward to Italian so on my next visit I ordered the recommended home made, from scratch, the fresh Tomato soup. It was really very very good Super fresh and tasty. Perhaps one of the better I have had in a long time. I followed this with the Spinach Ravioli and my only complaint was I could not get enough of it. Again so fresh and delicate it practically melted in your mouth.Due to time restraints my next visit was a quick hit and run and I had the spaghetti bolognese. It was very traditional and It hit the spot.

Probably, for me, the best restaurant for international cuisine in Baretto. When visiting Baretto I always have to visit this restaurant once or twice during my visit because you eat good there, very good.
Today my coice was chicken parmesan on fettuccine, I did not like it, I loved it, it was really tasty! Staff is also very welcoming, although the menu has a lot of variety, I hope next visit, when I'm back in the philipinnes, there will be pasta a la matriciana on it.
