Yes I know its "More fun in the Philippines" but lets be honest the country is not exactly known for consistency of food and services. But I found just the opposite to be true at Mango's, Meals were consistent in taste and large portions at...very reasonable prices. You can tell a great bit of effort has gone into the training of the staff as they were always pleasant and professional. A large and diverse expat community lives there which makes the environment seem welcoming and comfortable. The Expat manager in the bar area, David, was very friendly and always available to give us ideas and tips on places to go and things to do. Nice place to hangout, make new friends, enjoy a game of pool and just relax.More

The restaurant is one of the best in Barretto. The steak is an absolute joy and is so tender. The head chef spends a great deal of time beating the meat and is not afraid to ask for assistance from his staff if required. The...deserts are stunning and the apple pie gives a taste of being back in the USA. A truly exquisite Philippines dining experienceMore

My friends and I had a great dinner and breakfast here. We ordered the 21oz tomahawk steaks. Our steak was awesome and great value to us. The salad bar was a great for the meal. I am not a huge eater and they were kind...enough to let me save half for cooking in the morning. The chef, the manager and our waitress were so kind and made the experience that much better. FYI, I will have to find out what marinade they use for the steak and vegetables. Thanks for everything!More

First time in the Philippines and Subic so I didn't know what to expect. Mango's is a great place for a quiet beer, brewed coffee with great breakfast options, lunch or dinner with a great selection of food and the food is good. Pricing is...comparable but you do get what you pay for. You need to try the steak.More

Had a bit of difficulty parking as the establishment only had a total of 3 parking slots. The staff members at Mango’s were all amazing. Always smiling, helpful, and attentive. Feels like they give that kind of service not for the tips but because they’re...just genuinely nice people. Unfortunately, the SEA Games hindered us from doing a lot of activities but we spent our time well anyway. The beach is conveniently located right in front of the hotel bar. The food and the drinks were great. The room that we had was very spacious, clean, and had a beach view (w a balcony). Overall great experience. Subic isn’t like Palawan or Cebu so don’t expect white sand and clear water. Nevertheless, Mango’s makes do with what it has and gives an amazing experienceMore
