My wife and I just celebrated our 9th Anniversary at RBI. From the first inquiry on messenger to the conclusion I experienced unbelievable professionalism that I have never experienced in The Philippines. The food was to die for. I can still taste it. We were...pampered by a special table decorated with rose petals. Thanks for a PERFECT evening.More

I absolutely love this place! The food is magnificent, as I love the burgers and the Philly Cheese Steak and Blackened Chicken Sandwiches... Chef Marco is a cool guy and the wait staff is kind and attentive. In my view, it has the best ambiance...of any restaurant here, with the lightning and a location that is not to close to the hustle and bustle of Fields Ave. I am sooooo glad they are trying to survive the pandemic, and I truly wish them well....More

When RBI opened under the first management and owners it was great. During the pandemic it went through a ownership change. And now the service and food is absolutely hit or miss. We're been to this place three times in the last six months... But...I've only had one meal... because two out of three times I sent the food back to the kitchen. RBI does get first place as the only restaurant in the Philippines that I have set back-two different meals. So let's review here, dinner Saturday night 6 months ago.... I could not even get Prime Rib correct, first time it was served it was refrigerator cold , sent back and 30 minutes later a replacement that had ice crystals in the middle. So they wanted to serve a cold, worthless meal whenever one else was done. A few months later  we went as a party of 4 for breakfast... only 4 people in the whole place. It took them one hour from taking the order to serving the food. And the food could only be described as terrible. So we stayed away for months. But they got a new training chef to turn the place around. He is an Expat and normally works in Hong Kong.  The reports had been good with him so though give it a try again. Ordered Eggs Benedict  and clearly stated I want the eggs very soft. By the way this is one of two specials they have. So they should be able to provide without issues.  First off was not served Eggs Benedict.... Eggs Benedict consist of two halves of an English muffin, each topped with Canadian bacon, a poached egg, and hollandaise sauce. They put ham on in place of the normal bacon and the English muffins were not real English Muffin style. I could overlook if these were the only issues. But when you requested and told them very soft poached eggs the yolk of the eggs should not be hard yellow balls. My wife found her omelet to be poor, the other couple, maybe their 5th trip under the new chef,  they said are also done with RBI now, not enough options and food was heading down hill for them....No reason for anyone to waste your time with RBI. Yes if the Expat Chef happens to cook your food I believe you could get a good meal..... you could also hit the lottery if you play it. The Chef was very professional and offered to cook a replacement meal, which is rare here in the Philippines and that was nice. But I was not interested in waiting again while my friends ate. He also tried to comp my wife's meal but I do not want to owe the RBI anything. I will not return even if they offer free food.  The Queens Hotel which RBI is located in is closed, they violated the Covid-19 rules and were shut down by the city, so lots of parking which is about the only good thing I can say about RBI...Stay Far Far Away from this place.More

For a Decade RBI was deservedly known as the tourist city's A#1 steakhouse; then P-O-O-F its famous chef departed 2020 and standards dropped FAST! SO 1 JULY 2021 1130 seated and instantly ordered our norm(Her pork chop, Me Thursdays FB advertised BBQ Ribs) 1135 ice...tea delivered 1140 I see a bug in tea. I didn't SHOUT for waitress; we're ONLY patrons, thought she'd check on us. 1145 2 gents-sit-quickly order burgers 1150 2 gents food is served! 1210 They finished meals/But 40 minutes we never even got our side salads. 1215 I'd had ENOUGH, and yelled for 'check', my hun grabbed take-out 1240 home, eating great size portion (I'm being honest here) ...but both agreed "Meats flavor-less/salad 90% lettuce/green-beans delish" -------------- END OF REVIEW--------------------------------More

The food is good, but not for the price. As beef is always pricey in the Philippines we tried the other options and were disappointed as the portion sizes were tiny.

Great service of taking care of your customers. The steak was great, best I've had to date yet for a rib eye aussie beef. My wife was not disappointed with her rib eye and onion rings. The sides were good too. Especially their mashed potato...with peppered gravyMore

RBI was always one of the better restaurants in town, but the restaurant has had recent management change and introduced a new and improved menu starting October 1st. We have not been out much this year given the Covid situation but thought it was time...to get out and try the new offerings at RBI. I had a beef tenderloin, while my wife had a Australian rack of lamb, both were extremely good and prices were more competitive than previously. All in all a thoroughly good evening out with excellent quality food at reasonable prices. There will definitely be a return visit!More

Been to several 'Steak Houses' within Angeles City... RBI is by far the best experience I had. I had a Rib Eye prepared Medium.. it was perfect... they provide you bread with Oil which is a great eat before the meal. They are the only...place that let you choose the type of knife you will use to give you that perfect cut and bite. Yes, it is a pricey but it is worth the value Their service is also superb!!
