Every time we stay at Prime Asia Hotel we have dinner at Piccolo Padre. We met the manager of Prime Asia Hotel while having dinner at Marsa and he told us we have to go to Black Pearl Oyster Bar too, because Chef Dhan moved...there with his son. We went there for dinner and it was very nice as what we used to have at Piccolo Padre. We visit Angeles City every year since 2016 and we stay at the same hotel and eat from the same restaurants and Chef Dhan never disappointed us with his celebrity chef style foodMore

Had great meal of Lobster and Oysters. But it was expensive. I was ready for the shock, But not for the part that they no longer accept credit cards. Lucky between the two of us we could cover the cost of our meal.

Thank you for your input. Since March, we were able to bring back our original waitstaff, cooks and Chef. It's been very trying to stay open during the pandemic, but now we are back at full force. Once again, Thank you.

Have eaten at hundreds of establishments in the area, and this is the best bar none, hands down. Fine dining, so give it the respect of dressing at least smart casual or more. Eaten here multiple times with various family groups. The Italian chef and...his wife are lovely people and come and say hello. The wife took out little niece for a kitchen tour. Maybe the beast lasagne you will have. Best choices are the scaloppini, lasagne, scallops. Staff are highly trained and very professional, worth good tips. Cannot recommend enough.More

OYSTERS INFERNO is a must. Wagyu Tenderloin with risotto side dish is a personal favorite. Tomahawk steak is amazing and great for sharing. Don’t forget the tiramisu and creme brûlée to finish. The food is world class excellent. Be sure to say hello to the...owner/chef who will greet you after your meal!!More

Had another great night here on Tuesday. Four of us great service and food as always. The pasta, veal, and seafood all cooked to perfection. Baked Oyster & Scallops with a Cheese & Cold Cut tray for appetizers started the meal. Followed by great main...dishes. Piccolo is not for those looking for cheap production food it is fine dining and you need to pay for that. But well worth the prices charge. Chef Dan Giampaolo is a master in the kitchen, combining his families 80 plus year old recipes, with 5 star preparation. We have never been disappointed with Piccolo Padre. It appears the apple does not fall far from the tree. As the family has open Black Pearl Aklan Oyster Bar on Zeppelin Street in Hensonville. So now we have another choice for great Oysters and can keep it in the family.More

My Wife and I marked the end of our 2-week vacation by paying a visit here and we were not disappointed. We had some of the best food we have had in the Philippines. Yes, it was on the higher price side but when it...comes to food (and wine) I would rather pay more and come away fully satisfied than pay an average amount and feel robbed. Real Italian pasta at last and a good choice of Italian wines, something I have really missed in the Philippines. Looking forward to my next visit.More

Unique dishes prepared with the look of a high end casino restaurant. The head chef has a good flair for flavor. You will enjoy this high priced high quality food. You can get spaghetti, lobster, lamb, fettuccine with salmon and other creative tasty dishes. Try...it for a elegant night out. Probably the finest restaurant in Angeles City.More

We dined here last night as a party of 9, without a booking. We were greeted by the chef when we arrived and the exceptional service continued throughout the night. The decor transports you to Venice and food from all regions of Italy. Aida, the...co owner was very generous with her time and recommendations for other places to visit in the area. I've had my fair share of lobster and steak so I can attest to the quality of the dishes we've eaten there. This was supposed to be the last food stop we'll have before going back home to Manila and I'm more than happy to...say that we ended our trip on a high note. And while I am well aware quite a number of people have already praised this institution for their steak and lobster, I might as well go off on a tangent and review what came after. You see, she's a chocolate lover so she's very picky when it comes to a good chocolate cake. When I asked the waiter if there was a desert she could recommend (as Tiramisu, though I'm sure will taste good, may still lack that extra oomph to finish the night). So the waiter recommended the molten lava cake that was not the menu (subject to availability and she had to double check with the kitchen if it was possible to make it that night) and had it timed perfectly for when we finished eating our main course. The sheen of the ganache shows that it was masterfully tempered. The cake was moist and not soggy, with its spongy texture harmonizing with the molten chocolate as it oozes out like velvet. Having the side dollop of whipped cream with rose petals and mint to contrast and give a light and floral mouthfeel was very well thought of. And if that wasn't enough, the caramel brittle spoon gives it that crackle to act as a foil for its veritable accompaniment. The level of expertise needed to seamlessly accomplish all of that is nothing short of a master enjoying his work (the waitress said that it was Chef Dan himself who made it). My only regret was that I only ordered one for her as I myself am not really a fan of chocolate molten lava cakes but I did see the light once she made me taste it. All in all, it made her really happy and to this day she mentions this cake as being very memorable after so many months and so many desert shops and restaurant after that we might just have to travel all the way back to Angeles City just to have it again. My compliments to Chef Dan and his lovely wife (whom I felt at home when we started to talk about Houston) as well as my sincere appreciation for Chef Dan going above and beyond with the desert for my girlfriend's birthday. P.S. My gf actually forgot her umbrella partly because of the meal and we had to go back just to get it. Kudos to the kind staff for being mindful enough. Thank you again for such a wonderful dinner.More
