5 STAR value and Service at 3 Star prices.

About 20 years i've known about this restaurant but until last month id never been inside and sampled the fine cuisine. The owner is also a " hands on"person and a fine example to he wonderful staff - the staff always happy and literally run to the door on one occasion to greet and help a special needs patron in a wheelchair. The servings are as good size as any in town or better than the majority. The ambience is totally Swiss and totally 5 star! Big wooden beams on the roof.sensible lighting -very quiet and efficient staff-a very clean rest room.Too hard to recommend a favourite but mine were the Cordon Bleur and Bistek Tagalog- the meat must have been prime fillet ,so tender .NOTHING NEGATIVE all 5 star!

Good food. They have fondue and steak. Good and friendly staff. They have salad bas in the evening. Price is affordable. The place is a little bit hard to find.

Ribs were very old,and inedible. Sisig was ok. Pasta was just ok. Sauce was just ok. I would not eat here again. Staff was fine but the food was not fresh.

Room 16 2 nd floor Descent EXCEPT wifi they reset 2 x Terrible Daikin AC missing blades for wave motion they said they ordered parts if i wanted to change rooms Upgrade Higher Price,the sink had a minor leak on the floor Rain Forest shower jetsNot working too good seems ok now Excellent rate 1594 Pesos for regular room with Cash The Restaurant is FANTASTIC,ALWAYS BUSY GREAT SELECTION,PORTIONS AND REASONABLE

First time eating at Swiss Chalet

My friends and I ate at Swiss Chalet on a recommendation and my first thoughts were how beautiful the restaurant was. It also led me to believe that I might be spending more than I thought but I was pleasantly surprised that with the 3 of us we had bills of 400, 600 and 700. I had the beef tips with bearnaise sauce a rosi side, finished off with a glass of red wine. It was so tender and cooked the way I love. The staff was very attentive to our needs. Thank you for the excellent dining experience Swiss Chalet and staff

nice clean environment. Staff is polite and profession, but they can get overwhelmed at times. Food is really good. Steaks are always made to perfection, and the Bavarian dishes are good as well. Black forest cake is delicious and they even pour liqueur over it as is tradition.

Very poor room quality and cleanliness

The rooms were very small and not clean the towels were not clean and washroom was very small. Hot water poor. The reception staff was good and friendly. The restaurant was not very good

Best steak in town

Disappointing

Older establishment. Staff is courteous but there is nothing you can do with the restaurant being so old. Food was average at best but not very appetizing with the old decor and lighting.

Not Recommended For Muslims

After i read all views about that restaurant i make a visit with my friend and its was a disappointment visit : - maybe 80 % of dishes contain pork. - cold welcoming from the staff maybe because we are not foreigner . - non helpful waitress. - the food taste was awful and not delicious at all . - expensive prices. In the end i don’t recommend that restaurant for any Muslims or even anyone search for nice tasty food .

The Garlic Shrimp are a Must

This place has the Bavarian theme with strangest salad bar I have ever seen. We usually go there for the appetizer garlic shrimp with rice, and then move on someplace else for dinner. I don't think you want to do the salad bar (I never did.) There is a big sign saying only one trip to the bar, but it does not look appetizing to me. The Schnitzel was excellent there as well.
