I made an account specifically to comment on my experience at Tequila Reef. My wife and I have been coming to Tequila Reef for a while now. The staff is always friendly, and the food and drinks are always amazing. The price of food here...is great too. I brought my son and he loved it too. a fantastic Experience, Mexican Filipino, American Fusion .Great service helpful staff and fantastic Decor, From the moment we walked through the door we were made to feel welcome. Frozen Margaritas to die for and a great range of beers.

Nothing to write home about. Portions are a bit on the smallish side considering the prices. Place is ok for an occassional mexican food craving.
I like tacos. Tequila reef has a large menu but I had to try the tacos first. The inside has air con but the day I went all the tables inside were full. So I was seated outside. The vies is nice and the doorman...keeps unsolicited solicitors from disturbing the patrons. The margarita are not really cheap but tasty -- they get and average. They brought the tacos in short order and presentation was nice. They have a great condiment selections for added accoutrements. The tacos themselves were very good. I will return!More

This place has a great atmosphere, fun to sit outside and enjoy a cocktail or Margarita. Their breakfast is very good as well. Those are the Pros. So teh rating is for breakfast and place for cocktails, margarita or a beer. The CONS: For me...the Mexican food is just not that good, not bad but not great either. Especially the tacos, they are standard American tacos at best nothing Mexican about them. I would love it if their Mexican food was better because it's in a great location but can't jump onboardMore
HUGE serves of deliscious Mexican favourites- very good value. Very popular-everytime i went there it was almost totally seated with customers and some doing take-out too

Popped in for dinner with friends and I ordered the French Onion soup, mixed fajitas and a frozen Margherita. The FM was awesome, but be warned it is quite strong!! The FO Soup was lovely with a generous slab of cheese on top. The Fajitas...were great (by Angeles standard) with the beef nice and tender. Service was excellent. All in all very happy.More

We had a Mexican burrito with pork inside. It was maybe 5 out of 10. Then a spaghetti with sausage ... it was aweful ... inedible. Sausage smelled horrible and tasted worse.. I can't understand all the great reviews here...
I'm sorry you did not like the sausage. It does say spicy Hungarian sausage. Perhaps not what you expected. I get compliments on it regularly. If you do not like a dish then please complain to the manager for a replacement.
This is the place for all kinds of food. I love the staff they're amazing. The food is just yummy.. Margaritas are the bomb!! We try to go there every Thursday for some fun. I don't usually recommend places but this is just THE PLACE...to be at, any time of the day!!! Thanks to the great staff and delicious food!!!More

We had dinner at TR the night before our international flight to the US. My wife had chicken wings, my son and I had tacos. I ordered one each of the pork, beef, and chicken while my son had the mini-taco appetizer plate. The tacos...were huge and fully loaded, had I known I would have ordered only two. The chicken wings were also really big and included both drumette and flat as one piece. Wife couldn't finish them. Wife had blended frozen margarita and I had two of the shaken ones. Good taste and amount of alcohol. They were busy, so service was a little slow but servers were very friendly. Good experience, I'd love to stay and have more drinks next time.More

Very good Mexican food with all the right hot sauces. Even their Cajun red beans and rice is good even if it doesn’t fit the standard style. Staff is friendly and helpful!

What can I say this place may look ghetto but sure has the best margarita and food at a good price. We had a problem with a cook or whatever she was she toom our orders and ive specifically asked for which bill the drinks...were. By the time we were gonna pay she had it mixed up even after telling her 3x where the bill goes and what drinks theyve had. Other than that the food the drinks the waitresses are the best the food is great and the prices are affordable. Best place to hang and drink with friends!!!More

Took my 4 Filipino nephews there for breakfast this morning. What can i say but excellent! Breakfast was huge and cheap (compared to what i was used to). And if you know Filipinos you know they dont waste food so the fact that 3 out...of 4 of my nephews couldn't finish their breakfast says a lot for the large portions!. Staff were great and the owner was friendly.More

The food was great and the value for money cannot be bettered, but the staff were overwhelmed by the numbers present. They did their best! The real problem was that so many tables and chairs were crammed into the restaurant one could not move once...seated. And if you can get up, the men's toilet is suitable for only one man at a time, and there must have been fifty or more customers on the night. But I'll certainly go again!More
