My wife, son and I took our first trip to Al Bacio for my birthday last week, and we were not disappointed. Our host Glen did an excellent job seeing to our needs with friendly flair, and the food was very enjoyable at a reasonable...price.
After receiving our order, we were offered freshly baked bread. So far, so good. We began with parmesan mussels which were baked to perfection, meaty and delicious. As it was my birthday, Glen was gracious enough to bring us a sausage and cheese salad and bruschetta, which were both on point.
We continued into our mains with a shared pizza which was cooked to perfection and was wolfed down in record time. Two types of ravioli followed--ricotta and spinach, and salmon--which were stuffed well and cooked perfectly al dente. We were told that the ravioli is freshly prepared daily, and the taste confirmed it.
Finally, we ended with some mushroom risotto which was again cooked perfectly. Alongside my meal, I enjoyed a half liter of both the house red and white, which were completely acceptable additions to the food. All in all, we had a great evening and will definitely be back again.More
